Rick is an outstanding trumpet instructor for our 7 year old son. We reached out to him when our son wanted to learn how to play and he returned our initial call immediately. He worked with us to find a safe and convenient lesson location and offered virtual lessons as well. We see Mr. Rick weekly and through his lessons, guidance, and practice plan for the rest of the week, the growth of our son in 4 months is amazing. Rick Broadwell has been my son's trumpet teacher for two years now. He has been a wonderful teacher; very patient and encouraging no matter what your playing level or musical genre, from school band to jazz. He introduces new warm-ups and pieces to keep lessons interesting. On a personal level, he is a really nice guy, very laid-back and personable. He will work with your schedule and is punctual and reliable. During COVID the lessons have been on Skype, which is super convenient. We are very grateful to have found him, and couldn't recommend him more highly.

ミドルスクールの息子がバンドでトランペットを担当しており、トランペットの吹き方に行き詰まりを感じていた時にインターネットでレッスンを探していたところ、ブロードウェル先生に辿り着きました。初回のレッスンで、どうしたの？というくらい音が変わってビックリ。ぐんぐん上達していき、学校のバンドクラスから1番上達したと表彰していただきました。優しく指導してくださるので、息子は毎回レッスンを楽しみにしています。英語でのやりとりになりますが、テキストでこまめに連絡をくださるので、英語が苦手な親御さんでも連絡はとりやすいかと思います。トランペットに行き詰まりを感じている方に是非おすすめです。My son has been taking band class in middle schools and playing the trumpet. He was very beginner and frustrated how to make good sound, so I was looking for a good teacher for him. As soon as my son started to take Mr. Broadwell's lessons, his sound dramatically changed after the first lesson! It was so amazing how just one lesson could change my son's life. Now he practices almost everyday and is so into playing the trumpet. My son recently received 'the most improved award' from school. He was taking lessons for 30 min every week but now for 1 hour twice a month, so it was nothing like he was taking crazy lessons all the time to get the award. I think it all mattered how Mr. Broadwell inspired my son and guided him very well. If your child is lost about trumpet, I recommend Mr. Broadwell 120%! He is super nice, so your child would never have any problems. :)

Rick is an excellent trumpet teacher! He is a true professional who helped our daughter improve her range, gain increased confidence in her playing and focus on musicality vs simply playing notes. We heartily recommend him to anyone looking for a trumpet teacher.
