I was passing by to go to Hickam Federal Credit Union before realizing the little Kiosk Riches Kahala was open after hearing women voices. Lo Kaimuloa, owner called out, " Do you want to look at anything." That stopped me! I purchased a few things as a gratitude to special people. It was worth it plus something for myself! I always wanted this particular shell at $40. Ladies, this is the best time to get 30% off Tahitian Pearls. It's affordable and don't t need a whole strand. They are going online. Get out there at Kahala Mall! They close Kiosk 10/30/20. Check it out! If they are not there...call them! Check out Facebook and Instagram!

Where do you shop for quality, pretty sterling silver jewelry pieces? There's just one store that I depend on for this and it's located right here in our very own Kahala Mall.Sold here are just two kinds of wardrobe necessities: (1) Purses of all types that are more unusual to find that at the same time are fancy and or somehow unique, and (2) Delicate, sometimes intricate, higher-end, fashionable and fashion jewelry sometimes not but often made of sterling silver that also but not always tend to have a Hawaiian Island vibe. I don't mind the island vibe. I'm here for the European-look pieces. When this store is open (meaning that it's not boarded up secured for the day), walk around the perimeter to look in through the glass windows and showcase "walls". When you find what you want, go to the opened end of the kiosk to inform the salesperson what you'd like to see and the willing salesperson will retrieve it for you to inspect. Amazingly they have perfected warehouse inventory as not only is this kiosk small yet impactful but makes for really quick shopping. If you've not got a lot of time, this kind of kiosk shopping is really efficient. They'll put your items in boxes and or ziplock sleeves and a cute brown paper or floral bag, oh and hey, don't forget to ask for that gift receipt if ya need one!It was here I got my favorite pair of dangly sterling silver earrings. Quite pricey at the time but let me tell you about the joy I feel whenever I've got them on. It took me some time to realize I liked them and get over the price when first seeing them, and by the time I realized I'd been thinking about them non-stop, it was already too late to get a matching necklace. Drats! Please learn from my painful lesson :( and get what you see when you find something here that you love! :)Most things sold here are limited quantity and also all sales final. Like any other place it can be hit or miss according to your taste vs. what the shop owner finds thru what her resource jewelry- and purse-makers envision but because you'll never know what you'll find, be prepared for that moment when you fall in love with something pretty, unique, gorgeous, or downright smashing!Located right in the middle of Kahala Mall across from Apple between Compleat Kitchen and Banana Republic, in the main connecting walkway no matter from which entrance you enter the mall :) They operate same hours as the mall, usually until 9pm, or later if it's Christmastime. With this quick and easy unique-finds shopping experience, I wouldn't be surprised at all if this becomes your go-to place for pretty jewelry and purse finds, too!

This locally owned boutique is located in Kahala Mall near the Apple Store. It is a small shop smacked in the middle of the walkway. They sell a wide variety of merchandise from bags, jewelry, pouches and etc. I bought a Clipa bag holder and it was priced at $16. I've been looking for this product for a few years now and only a few places sell this product. I'm so glad I was able to find it here. The item I bought was beautifully packaged in tissue paper and bagged in their own label paper bag. They accept cash and credit card and certain items are non returnable.Customer service was excellent. The sales person was friendly and shared with me that this is a local company and how she's been with the company for over seven years.Overall, I recommend visiting this boutique. You never know what you might find.

I am obsessed with what I am going to call "Hawaii beach chic." I grew up in the islands, went away for a while, and now find myself drawn to fashion that takes authentic local elements and makes them highly wearable in a more mainstream sense. The jewelry selection at Riches, a small but well thought-out kiosk at Kahala Mall, is the perfect example of this.Prior to my best friend's wedding last week, I was browsing around for a nice gift to give her from the bridal party. Specifically I was looking for something that fit the criteria of the look I mentioned above, as the bride too is a Hawaii ex-pat now living in Sacramento. I wanted to get her something that would remind her of home but still look entirely classy at any semi-formal or formal event on the mainland.I had never paid much attention to Riches in all my years passing it at Kahala, but that day a shelf of pretty earrings happened to catch my eye. They all had shell and/or bead details, some with tropical flower motifs, ranging from simple to complicated, and all definitely looking expensive. I knew I had to get my girl a pair! The friendly saleswoman summarized the price range of the earrings I was looking at, all made by local designers, anywhere from $30 to $150. I loved so many of the choices (and if I could I'd buy them all out myself, seriously), but in the end I decided on a pair of simple gold-filled teardrop-shaped earrings with a long, twisty shell hanging inside. As I suspected she would, my friend loved them (check them out, they're beautiful: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/O7FTB_eWte2Y17ujULgd8w?userid=emF8KqAfI2VL6Sfaek9gFg)!Riches is located just off the center of the mall, in a kiosk near The Compleat Kitchen and Carousel Candyland. They also sell other types of jewelry, purses and wallets, and have a decent sale section as well.

Riches has been in a kiosk between what is now Banana Republic and Complete Kitchen in Kahala Mall for years. Lo, the owner, has the foresight and good taste to bring in new and exciting designers and artists. She was the first to bring in Kate Spade handbags before anyone knew who Kate Spade was...Take time to browse and walk around the entire kiosk to see what they have to offer. Lo promotes local designers and artists with trunk shows , but also carries mainland designers and artists' wares, and we are the winners for it because we get amazing items at good prices!Join the preferred club and get 10% off purchases! Gotta love discounts, all discounts! Woo hoo!

This little kiosk in Kahala Mall has so many treasures at all different price points. I've been a customer for over 10 years now. The owner always manages to buy pieces that are cute & hard to find. She carried Kate Spade & Lulu Guiness before anyone else in Honolulu. Now she is well stocked in Tookata People.Bags, jewelry & hats. Prices ~$20 to ~$400.Service is excellent, all the salesgirls are knowledgeable and oh so friendly. Nothing but positive vibes.

Don't let the name fool you, though there are some pricey items at this standalone boutique/kiosk, much of the other items are more affordable than you'd think!! For similar earrings at a different boutique I could end up paying upwards of $50. I got a gorgeous pair at Riches for half that price. Check it out instead of walking on by... I've gone by it so many times assuming everything was overpriced but the friendly worker the other day showed me stuff that was very affordable and made me change my mind about Riches!

It's easy for some unknowing people to stride past this little kiosk in the heart of Kahala Mall, but I can never walk by Riches without sneaking a glance at the beautiful jewelry glinting in their display cases. They carry hard-to-find designers and unique items without limiting themselves to similar types of styles or catering to one kind of person. I find that their offerings tend to be more on the pricey side, but maybe that's because I'm always drawn to their local fine jewelry selection. And that's another plus - Riches showcases brand-new Hawaii designers, many of whom go on to become famous in the rest of the U. S. and eventually stock their wares in boutiques across the state and the country! I bought a gorgeous necklace today from Misa Jewelry's trunk show that I can't wait to wear, and I'll be back soon to check out other designers (LK Atelier has some pretty designs). Misa grew up in Hawaii, but is now based in Los Angeles; she has enjoyed lots of success on the mainland (in fact, her business was born because people on the streets of L. A. kept on buying her handmade jewelry off her person!), and true to form, Riches was selling her pieces way before she became a big name. The last Riches secret I have for you: once you spend $500 (be sure to keep your receipts), they'll endow you with a 10% off store discount for life. Local shopping doesn't get better than this.
