Wow! I got my bike back today with new steel braided brake lines, sprocket and red chain! My bike runs like it is BRAND NEW. Ted was nice enough to also check my low idling problem and fix my issue of dying out with quick revs. All of my business will be done here from now on. Is it cheap to fix your bike? Not as cheap as people think, but maintenance service and replacement of worn parts on your motorcycle is also not to bad. Stay on top of your maintenance. People may not realize what a delicate instrument a motorcycle is, and mine is 10 years old! Call around and you will see that Ted's prices are competitive and he is passionate about bikes and fixing them correctly. He has my business from now on. More parts to come. 4/6/19Just picked up my bike from Ted. I had valve adjustment done, new intake gaskets, and front fork rebuild (probably from wheelies). The problem is that you can't really see any of that. So I also opted to get LED lights installed. You know, for visibility at night (riiight...). As always, Ted does amazing work and my bike (I wanna say purrs like a kitten...but) ROARS like a lion!!! Yes, fixing a bike is expensive and if you can't afford quality work, perhaps you don't make enough to be a bike owner (or do your own wrench work). Ted is the man. Thanks again Ted!

I just bought my bike and wanted to get some maintenance done on it (chain and sprockets, oil change, check over brakes). I took it here because of the great reviews; and as expected, Ted was amazing. He taught me a couple things and said he'd check everything out for me. I'll update once my bike is done being worked on

Had Rev-Tek work on my Ducati 999 (which I have since sold) and it came out amazing! They also worked on my custom Victory Kingpin and did two full on Suzuki turbo builds for me as well. Both bikes dynoed at around 250hp on pump gas! Great service and since Ted is super knowledgeable on all things on two wheels (especially turbo Suzuki bikes and tuning), I have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so in the future!

Great friendly service. Sent my bike to rebuild the forks, and they did great, professional work. I'm a mechanic myself so I know what to look for after a repair. Couldn't be happier.

Called RevTek to inquire about having some work done on my ZX14R, spoke to Ted and explained what I needed done. He was very responsive and told me to bring the bike down. I was there within an hour. Ted explained to me what needed to be done in order to complete the job. He immediately got to work on my bike after it had cooled down. He got the job done quickly and professionally, explaining everything he had done. He test rode the bike to make sure everything was just right. The transaction was pleasant, efficient and quick. Ted is a great guy very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I highly recommend RevTek for all your motorcycle needs, work and parts. Thanks Ted!

You can support local and also hold people accountable. My bike needed a wire harness and I asked him to look at the trans for me because I had some shifting concerns. I was given rough time estimates saying that it would be 2 weeks, 2 weeks became 3 weeks, 3 weeks became one month. Fast forward my harness shipped in but then he was ordering my trans gears. Which turned into all of my gears have to be replaced and I was suggested to pay him cash and send it off to New York for another 4 weeks to get the gears cut. It's been a little over 3 months since I've had my bike, I just called and he told me the parts are in but it's not put back together yet. What frustrates me is probably the Instagram posts bc it's like brah you on ig posting about all the bikes that are in your shop and how you have a full house, it's only natural that I'm gonna want to get my bike and go somewhere else! You can't tell me where my parts are or what's going on?? You can't call me or email me every week or two for courtesy or to see where it's standing, it's gotten to the point where my parents are disappointed in me for choosing this place to service it. Honestly if the communication was better I wouldn't have gotten fed up and pulled my bike out the shop. I was trying to be courteous and not bother him by calling but he literally almost never called me throughout this process so I'd call once every 3 weeks, I think if I didn't call he probably would not have. I tried to let things play out but look where it got me, if i was a person that lived independently, that had to commute with my bike to get my bills paid, I would probably be screwed, I've been bikeless for months. Called him in the morning and asked a rough estimate of how much longer it would take for it to be finished he didn't give me a exact time but he told me "it's not gonna be this week" so I told him I'm done waiting and that I'd tow it out and get it done at another shop, then I get a missed call later that night, no voicemail no message nothing. I called him back the next day at 10 and he told me that he took on working on the bike all day and it was finished and it needed a chain and sprocket. But I got a email that morning telling me that instead, and there was a little note that said my bike is running and ready to go. So I approved it, and figured that was it, I call him again at 3 because I was gonna pick it up and he tells me that actually my fuel pump went out after the test ride. Again I HAD to call hours later to find this out. There's a pattern here, where he'll get the job done eventually, but you will literally never know when or what the fuck is going on because he has no priority in communication and it gets really inconvenient at times when it doesn't take long to leave a simple message. Every estimate I had to ask for, every update I had to call for.

Ted was very straight forward about everything from beginning to end. He performed work on my new to me Cbr 650f. Anything he saw that needed attention he asked if I would like to address. He kept me updated the whole time and did everything he said he would do. Very transparent about things and I appreciate it. Yes is old school. He does things right so if that's what you're looking for hit him up.

I called this business to see if they can help me replace or repair my bent gear shift pedal I caused from a drop. Receptionist was nice over the phone and told me bring it in on Friday.I brought it in the Friday (shop was close by, rode carefully on first gear lol) and had the owner, whose named was Ted, look at it. Gave him the details and what I wanted done and he said he would order the part and will do it. Charged me around $190 for the part (before labor) and told me it should be in maybe next Friday.Fast forward to next Thursday, I give Ted a call. Ask him if the part is in. Tells me he didn't order the part yet because it turns out he needs my VIN#. He said he was going to call me to let me know but he forgot. Gave VIN# through email and replies the part is ordered and should be in maybe next Friday.Another week goes by, email Ted if I can bring in the bike tomorrow, which was the Friday projected. Get an email back from the staff and it tells me its on back order until April 30th, and they probably won't need my bike until maybe May. At this point I've already burned two vacation days to take off Fridays and at the last moment I've been told the work is going to be delayed. Both times I had to reach out to them to find out about the delays.Told the shop to keep the money, I will go somewhere else. The owner reached out to me (first time in the 2 weeks since the transaction) to try and patch things. He offered to bend the shifter back (why wasn't that the first option? I would've paid him) and would give a refund IF he can cancel the part order. I told him again to keep it because I rather just move on. Two stars because delays at last moments, no work actually done on the bike in the two weeks but at least the owner attempted to do guest recovery and seemed like a nice guy.
