Finally caught this place open and tried their regular milk tea with brown sugar. Wasnt expecting much but was it incredible! Extremely strong and rich tea. Strong till the very end even a few hours later! Most milk tea places taste like overpriced water with a ton of sugar nowdays, good to see some classic strong honk kong style teas out there.

This place is amazing! The owner was incredibly friendly and the service was great! This is one of my go to places for refreshing drinks. I was also very surprised at the reasonable prices such as soda for a $1. If anyone is looking for a relatively cheap but reviving place to find drinks this is where you should go!

Revive Café! What an interesting name! I never knew this place existed and that it replaced Sky Parc House in the Chinatown Cultural Plaza, across from Spicy Pavilion. I still had it in my bookmarks!Sky Parc was a Hong Kong Style Cafe selling sandwiches, pineapple buns, coffee, tea, and other cold and sweet drinks. It's specialty was noodles. Revive Café still has the Hong Kong Style Cafe feel and kept the pineapple buns, sandwiches, coffee, tea, and sweet drinks. The difference, however, is this new cafe's specialty is the Stone Pot Rice. This is definitely one of the well-known dishes you must eat in Hong Kong, and don't find Hong Kong Style Stone Pot Rice at many restaurants here in Hawaii. Noodles, you can find everywhere! This was my first time here, and this place is pretty small with several small tables and tight booths. I came with the wife and grandma, so we ordered three items. They only open from 10AM-5PM, Tuesday-Saturday.We started with the special: Turnip Oxtail Soup. It should be with rice, but they ran out and subbed it with rice noodle. It came with minced ginger and cilantro and soy sauce for dipping the oxtail. It was a decent sized portion with a good amount of oxtail. The flavors were clean, but a little light. The oxtail and the turnip were both on the tougher and toothsome side. It simply needed more time boiling in the pot, and I'm sure the flavors would be deeper and the oxtail and turnip would be more tender. We told them this, and they offered to boil it longer for us, but it wasn't that necessary. Definitely appreciated though!Next we ordered another special, the Garlic Shrimp with Kurubota Sausage Stone Pot Rice. Wow, did this smell great when we opened the lid. The all important sweet soy sauce is available at the table. You need to squirt this in to add flavor to the rice as well as loosen the charred rice on the sides of the pot. You really can't go wrong with nicely cooked garlic shrimp, and tasty kurubota sausage. The yellow daikon went really well with this dish adding a sweet and sour element. The rice was prepared very well and had the crispy sides. My only issue is the rice was on the dry side. It needed some oil, or better yet, rendered pork fat! The rice was stuck to the side of the pot and it was extremely difficult to take off. I had to use extra force which resulted in some flying rice.Last was the Spareribs Stone Pot Rice. The rice was the same here. The spareribs ate and tasted like minute chicken. The flavor was very familiar with oyster sauce and garlic. They were a little on the tough side though. I was hoping they'd be similar to the dim sum variety of steamed spareribs.Overall, the meal wasn't anything spectacular. Everything was pretty straight forward. The meats needed more time to tenderize, and the rice needs some oil or something to add moisture and be more tender. It looks like a mother/daughter family-operated place. The daughter served us, and she was very friendly, considerate, patient, and attentive. She really made this a nice experience.Even though the food missed the mark a little, Revive Cafe is a nice little place to grab a quick breakfast and/or lunch. It's nice and cool inside, and they serve Lion Coffee and Vietnamese Coffee. Next time, I definitely want to try the Chinese Sausage and Chinese Cured Pork Belly Stone Pot Rice. That should be the one!

You know it's gonna be good when you have to wait 15-20min. They are definitely working their magic in the kitchen!! The worker recommended Chef Special Chicken, Pork Chop, Beef stew and Chinese pork. I got two of the recommendations which is Chef Special Chicken, Pork Chop and also the garlic shrimp. The food is delicious and definitely worth your money. The amount out food they give is huge. You have the three option for starch ( White rice , Red tomato rice and pasta) the red tomato rice is my favorite, it have a hits of the tomato taste. Overall I will definitely come back for more.

Awesome spot for Hong Kong noodles and clay pot rice! We love the coziness and have been coming here regularly. The clay pot rice will take some time so it's best to call in advance.

Really great service from the girl who took my order. The place is a small store with 3 tables. Its a quiet place. I got the peanut butter choco banana bowl. It tastes good but the blended base melted so quick! We did a to-go order & I was planning on eating it on the way home. Its like eating cereal but with fruits instead. I parked across the street, 5 minutes away from their place & I started eating in my car... & ate soup basically.
