Since I got into the restaurant business about 4 years ago, REI was the first company I dealt with for my own improvements. This company has never let me down in terms of inventory and what its able to provide. Thats because the owner, Trigo, is well connected and has a bevy of resources. One of the biggest inventories in used or refurbished restaurant equipment on the island, I believe, and it also brings in some new stuff from time to time. Trigo is personable and most of all very honest and strives to make sure his customers are happy. Trigo is very helpful with answering questions and really knows his stuff. If you aren't happy neither is he. Id recommend REI for any restaurant business on the island looking to improve.

We dropped in to check out some stuff. Place is really clean with good display of items. Staff was knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Gave us a thoughtful detail budget and quote for the items we desired. Followed up was sincere and helpful.

Absolutely loved the service I received from both of the gentleman working. I was in a pinch to get my sink back up and running quickly. When I called and spoke to them about my situation they provided me with the correct equipment and guidance to get me back operational in just a short couple of hours. They will definitely be my go to for any other issues or needs that come along my way as a manger running multiple locations and needing a quick recovery!

A little over a year ago I opened up a bar and was on a very tight budget so tried to get all of the bar equipment online for as cheap as possible. I was able to order and save hundreds on a 3 compartment sink online but the most affordable (and convenient) option for an ice machine was from REH. The process of getting the sink was a nightmare tho as this was during the time that shipping was extremely delayed and my sink ended up being lost at some point as the tracking on it stopped. It ended up coming months late, damaged, and dropped off at the bottom of a small flight of stairs. Wish we went through REH for that as it was much smoother getting our ice machine in and they brought it up the stairs and placed it where we wanted it (which was in a tight area up another stair). We did need to hire a plumber to hook up the water source/line, but the technicians really know what they are doing and were super helpful whenever there have been minor issues with the machine. Definitely avoid the stress of online shopping with freight shipping, and just go with REH, they have everything in house so the only reason you'd need to wait is if they are booked on deliveries for a couple days or a week. But if you're planning ahead that should be no problem, and the warranty they offer also adds a little bit of peace of mind if something goes wrong.Thanks Restaurant Equipment Hawaii!!

All of his equipments are made in china and they would break down easily. And forget about warranty because this Portuguese would not honor it. Warning: Stay away from this business!
