Red Zone Sports Bar & Grill

This place is a hidden Gem !Deb!! The owner really cares about atmosphere, quality, and her customers. This is not just a bar, the food here is Amazing ! Servers and staff 10/ out of 5 stars . I highly recommend! This is the first bar/ restaurant I felt like being at home. I will definitely come again. -I recommend their sizzling ribeye-Their crispy pork chops -Extra crispy thunder crunch fries10 out of 5 stars !!!

Located in Kunia in the same complex where Starbucks and Jamba Juice are but down the ramp at the lower level. Lots of parking but the lot accommodates for all the other restaurants and businesses.We were looking for somewhere to eat and pulled up YELP to see what was in the Waipahu area and Red Zone Sports Bar & Grill popped up, never heard of it, where is this? It is in the same spot that was formerly Antipastos and then Steve Chicks. TV's galore surround the entire restaurant walls, no matter where you sit you have a great view. There is a huge Denver Broncos flag emblazoned on the wall, but that's ok....LOL, it's still a great place to watch the games and get some Ono Grindz. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are also nice and clean. Our server Raiden was super friendly and made great suggestions, service was great and our food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered the following: Chicken Katsu Plate: This is not your average Chicken Katsu, it is double fried to make it extra crispy and instead of your usual Katsu Sauce it is dunked in a sauce that is so different. It tasted like shoyu and honey and chili pepper. Sweet, Savory, Crispy, juicy with a little bit of heat. It looked like it was 3 big pieces all cut up and ready to eat served with rice and Mac salad. It was really delicious!Mushroom Burger: This totally hit the spot! Burger was juicy and flavorful, I ordered it with Provolone cheese. Sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and red onions. Came with fries and I asked to upgrade with the garlic parmesan fries. Really good!Cheesecake: Had room for dessert and they only had cheesecake but I was alright with that. Ordered it with Strawberry topping. They have the usual beers and basic spirits. We were told they get really busy on NFL game days. Glad we came on a non game day, although college games were on. Cool place!

I actually really hate having to do this. My waitress was really nice and I feel bad for her bc my hubs would not let me leave a tip. We came here after not eating enough at a Speakeasy. He heard good things about the katsu. TBH not where I wanted to go but I am down to try new places. It was just already late. It was not super crowded but again, it was like 8:30. Our waitress was sweet and took our order and the food came out quickly, and was tasty but too fried and oily. I def paid for it later. I did like how one of the chefs came out to check on us too. Again, I love that local feeling of a place. It started to get later and turn more into a bar, so nosier. I am not a fan of noise. So we asked for the check. I had some cash on me so I asked the waitress could put cash first and the rest on card. So for an $87 bill I think I gave her $60 cash and said put the rest on card. I am pretty sure she was the only waitress and it started to get busy. So she asked another girl who may have been another waitress or a manager to help her do it. It was taking a really long time. Close to 15-20 min. We watched her struggle on the POS, and I guess it wasnt allowing her to do so. OR IDK. But then it took longer and you could tell she was frustrated. I saw another lady who was previously sitting at another table with a man and dog go up to the POS area. They tried for a while more. Then I saw the waitress swipe my card for the full $87!!! Mind you no one has come to our table to say anything or to ask for another form of payment or to ask if it was okay to swipe my card. I was pissed. Then they lady who was sitting with the dog came over and said "They couldnt do it so they did it all on your card." and I looked at her trying to control my temper and asked "why they did it without my permission" and she just stated again but rudely "they couldnt do it". I snapped and yelled "and who going pay my overdraft fee?' She shrugged her shoulders and as we were gathering our stuff she asked me how much the overdraft fee was and I told her "$33" she then threw $40 at me. I will never again go here and am thinking disputing the charge with the bank as it was done without my permission.

Located one block below Kunia Walmart. Tons of parking and well lit parking. The food is ono, staff friendly and bathrooms clean.

01/10/25 @ 1800This place is located in the Kunia Shopping Center on the same level as the Urgent Care. There's plenty of parking, and if there isn't any on that level, there's 2 other levels. So when you walk in, the lights are low and there's TV screens everywhere! The noise level was pretty high with people talking and having a good time. Definitely the Sports Bar vibe. The place is very clean. There's bar seating, tables and booths that can accommodate bigger parties. In the corner was place for a live band. We sat ourselves, and shortly after we were greeted by our friendly server. She took our order and our food came out super fast. We got the Parmesean Garlic Fries, Kickoff Katsu which was super ono and no Katsu sauce needed, and the Crispy Pupu Pork. Portions were not too big, not too small but just right. There's other things on the menu I want to try, so I'll definitely be back. Overall experience was great. Highly recommended

We dropped in for an early dinner. It wasn't what I expected, it was more! Restaurant is clean, service was amazing and the staff were friendly. We ordered sampler platter with wings, onion rings and jalapeño poppers, fried pork chop and kids meal. The pork chop comes with onions and tomatoes, if you're not big on onions I suggest asking for it on the side as it's great dipped in the vinegar sauce it comes with and the pork was seasoned perfectly. It's a locally owned spot in Kunia you should add to your list!!

The only reason for a 4 star vice 5 is because they didn't have a drink menu...yet. Was told they're working on it. Other than that, this place is great! Service was friendly and on-point. Atmosphere typical for a sports bar, lots of tv's, booths as well as tables for larger groups. Unfortunately we didn't order much food this time. Their fries are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just the way I like it. Would be good if they created some sort of house dipping sauce. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Sizzling steak looked and smelled ono!

To Mika G. See the.1 star review. I was the person that provided you the $40To pay for your overdraft fees. As. Good gesture to make you whole. Deb does not deserve to get a rating of 1 from you. You came in understanding that your card had a limit. It was busy that day. And I helped Deb by cleaning up tables and serving people food to make sure cisterns were attended to. I can't reply to your rating. But I think you were wrong. I made you whole by giving you your money back. And you should be happy that people in Hawaii have bought integrity to address your issues.

Love the atmosphere and the employees are top notch. West side needed a good sports bar

It's so nice to have a neighborhood bar and Grill located in Kunia. As soon as my daughter and I entered the establishment, we noticed such a welcoming atmosphere. We sat down and were greeted by the lovely waitress, Momi. She was so very informative and truly has that Aloha spirit. When we arrived there they had just opened and Momi let us know that they were still prepping the kitchen and. She apologized, saying it would take some time for our food to get to us. I told my daughter that we should try everything that has a star on it. Sizzling Ribeye, Kickoff Katsu, Crispy Pupu Pork, Mushroom Swiss Burger, and Fish & Chips for my Honey to-go. I included pictures in my review for everything except for the fish and chips. My husband got to it before I could even take a picture of it! Everything was delicious thanks to chef Armand We will definitely be back!!!
