As a professional video producer/shooter/editor I was very picky about who to hire first my wedding. Glen and his team were wonderful to work with. I love that Glen takes the time to interview his couples the morning of their big day, capturing those perspectives makes the final piece so special and something we would love to share with our kids and hopefully grandkids some day! The drone footage looked epic! Really capture the beauty of Kualoa and Waikiki. We also got the photos back really fast and the videos came just a few weeks later. Highly recommend

Red Ring Studio was sooo amazing. We loved working with Glenn and his team and are beyond happy we decided to go with them for our wedding video and photos last summer.From the initial consultation call to the very first moment we met in-person on the big day, we had such a wonderful experience. They were very experienced, professional and provided us with some great advices for the big day. It wasn't awkward at all having the Red Ring team taking photos and recording us. One of the reasons why we decided to go with Red Ring is that they interview couples individually as we thought this was super special and unique. Even though we're not used to being on camera or talking to the camera at all, they made us feel super comfortable the whole time when we were originally really nervous. They also helped guided us on how to pose and what to do in photos. Because they were so friendly and personable, we were super relaxed with them and were having so much fun on a special day. And the finishing products definitely did not disappoint. The turnaround time was quick but photos and videos were shot so beautifully. Their skills and creativity really shine in what they delivered. Every single photo and videos were all super high quality and well edited. We were ecstatic to see how everything turned out. Even until this day, we marvel at our wedding photos and video and get so many compliments from our friends and family. They are a MUST HAVE and they were the very first vendor we booked!! From the initial call with Glenn, we knew Red Ring was exactly what we needed to help us celebrate our BIG day! He helped us feel so at ease and made the process so easy. We were even willing to move around our date just so we could ensure we could have them document our day.Glenn and the Red Ring team were just absolutely amazing to work with. They are willing to go above and beyond and when I say that I mean it, I was lucky enough to even have Glenn accommodate a special request. He was able to help me document a special surprise performance from Kolohe Kai at such short notice to help me capture my wedding present to my husband. The whole team makes you feel so comfortable throughout the whole day, they're with you from the moment they arrive at your location up until the last few moments of your special day. They truly felt like our friends and family, which helped make us feel more comfortable filming and taking photos throughout the day. We even did a spontaneous "trash the dress" session to finish off our wedding day at the private estate we had it at! Our photos, highlight reel and our special surprise video are such special memories we will treasure forever! We could not be more thankful for Red Ring Studios!! Aaaaahhhhh!!!!!! Were the exact words when we received our engagement photos... Wedding photos... And wedding video. At the wedding, when our guests were taking pictures with there phone, a photographer always seems to be standing by and filling in with more pictures! The best of all, the videos we received were amazing. With whatever editing tools they used, they somehow made a boring speech into an emotional moment where we had tears falls after watching the videos. Thank again team for capturing our memories!!!

Fell in love with their work after seeing a same day edit at a friends wedding and I was pretty much set on having them do our wedding. We booked them pretty far in advance because they fill up fast and only take on so many events per month. We had so much fun shooting our wedding, we had some special request on how we wanted the video to be "different" and incorporate our personalities into the film and they were happy to accommodate all of it! They are easygoing, down to earth and made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera. Nothing but a good time and laughs the whole day! They work around us in the background and you barely notice they are there. We are so thankful that they captured our wedding day and turned it into a beautiful film. They told us it would take about 2 weeks but we got the final product in less than a week! Family and friends who couldn't attend were able to witness our wedding as of they were there! We received Nothing but compliments on all of it! Overall we are so happy we choose red ring studios for our photos and video, they produce quality work & provided us With a lifetime worth of wonderful memories to look back on.

Wedding Date: 01/07/2017*Please keep in mind that before you read this review, words alone cannot express our gratitude to Glenn, Matt and the rest of the crew at Red Ring Studios. This review starts with expressing how completely nuts we were for wanting to plan a wedding on a 4 week notice. *Yes, retarded. One of the biggest decisions a couple makes when getting married is deciding whether to hire a videographer/photographer. Because our venue was outdoors on a beautiful beachfront private estate, we absolutely knew we had to catch everything on film and of course, we had to have a drone for it all. And so our manic search began.Our wedding coordinator had initially recommended someone who we were quick to be informed that they were unavailable for our event, however, they were so kind to recommend Red Ring Studios. My fiancé wasted no time inquiring via email. We immediately received a response from Glenn who quickly stated they were available!! We couldn't believe it. Glenn had provided us all the information we were looking for and we were so impressed by all the previous work they have done. Talk about talent! Glenn insisted that we chat on the phone so that he could get a better idea of what we were looking for. Our phone convo went great! He was so easy to talk to! Again, he answered all of our questions and had so many great ideas. He offered to do a video/photog package that was at reasonable cost and was able to work with us as far as time length too. Next was our meet up.I was able to meet up with Glenn at Starbucks on Ward (I changed the location last minute because my Kia died on me). Upon meeting Glenn, he was so nice!!! Gave me a big warm hug upon meeting. We sat and chatted about the wedding and of course I got to know more about him and he got to know more about me (so of course, we both went on 'portagee mode') and ended chatting longer than anticipated (that's always a great sign!).WEDDING DAY! Glenn and the rest of the crew were already there on site by the time the wedding party got there. My fiancé and I both agreed that we wanted RRS to feel comfortable and most of all let the creativity be up to them. The only thing we required of them was ALOHA SHIRTS & RUBBAH SLIPPAHS! This always puts a smile on these local boys faces. As our day went, we let them do their thing. Not for a moment, did we feel that we were being rushed to do anything particular for shoots and they were so mindful and respectful the entire time from getting dressed, to the first look, the ceremony, to the end of the night.With most videographers and photographers, most turn around times take a while. But when RRS says they'll have it done in a certain amount of time, they truly mean it. They told us 2 weeks, and BOOM! We got our final video in 2 weeks. The most awesome thing is they did a 'Highlight Video' that we received during that two week interim, and boy was that a TEASER! Talk about awesome work! They covered EVERYTHING! The drone caught every inch of beauty the estate had to offer and more. I have to tell you, the relationship between your vid/photog peeps is very important. These guys felt more like family to us rather than just some people you hired to do a job. We've never seen such talent and creativity! We would like to "Thank" Glenn and his crew, Matt and Kenji for taking our photos and videos at our wedding! They did a awesome job and did more than we ever expected! When I first was looking for someone to video and photograph our wedding I had several recommendations to check out Red Ring Studio. Glenn the owner responded to my e-mail and asked if we could talk. I was glad to do so, because sometimes trying to figure your needs through an e-mail can get misinterpreted. Needless to say, when I first talked to Glenn, I knew that we had to go with his company. Glenn was understanding in our needs and request for our wedding. He was easy going and it was just like talking with a close friend. His quote was reasonable and we didn't think twice about hiring Red Ring Studio!The week before our wedding we had lunch with Glenn just to go over what we discussed about what we requested. It was also good to meet Glenn, because he could get a feel about us as a couple. He was easy to get along with and made us feel at ease that he and his staff would make everything perfect!Day of our wedding, they showed up early and did some scenery shots with a drone and shots of our ceremony and reception area. They did exactly as we requested! I even didn't notice them around! I even recruited Kenji one of Glenn's staff to do a short introduction of my bride and me since Kenji spoke Japanese! Arigato Kenji!Just got our highlight video and the video of our ceremony and reception and WOW!!!! After watching the highlight and ceremony and reception video. My wife cried...happy tears!!! LOL I have also been told by friends that what a awesome video! Lastly, my wife and I would like to "Thank" Glenn, Matt, and Kenji for doing a professional job while keeping it stress free!!! Red Ring Studios blew our minds! I had come across their work a year earlier at a friends wedding and s we were watching their "Same Day Edit" I remember looking at my fiance and said.... "I love this, I want to look into them!" Secretly I knew I was going to do whatever I could to get them to do our wedding! I had a feeling that our same day edit and our photos would be good, but I really had no idea at how great they were going to turn out. Everyone on their staff was great and so easy to work with! I am very used to being infront of a camera but my husband is not and they were so good at helping him feel comfortable and in the moment! They did a great job capturing the emotions and the feelings of our day, highlighting all the little important details and making all our guest feel included as well... I cry every time I look back at all the material! Thank you RedRing for capturing all our amazing moments and just blowing our expectations out of the water. I highly recommend them (we live on Oahu, they are based on Oahu, but we got married on Maui...they TRAVEL!!) I don't even know where to begin! First, Glen & the entire Red Ring team are wonderful to work with. Their response time was incredibly fast and they worked with me pretty last minute, which was awesome. My sister found this company for her wedding a few years ago and her pictures blew me away. So, when my husband and I decided to take honeymoon pictures in Oahu, I immediately knew who to call, & knew we'd have a good experience. But the lead photographer Tom's attention to detail is truly unmatched. When I say these are the best pictures I've ever seen, I mean it! From fixing my hair to turning us a half-inch for the perfect lighting, he really goes above and beyond. I'd recommend this company a million times over. Thank you Red Ring!
