They did an excellent job at a reasonable price on my rattan lounger. Only place to go for rattan repair and re cushioning.

We spent almost $4,000 here and were told our items would be ready in two weeks. We prepaid the full amount trusting that it would be ready on time. Two weeks passed and we didn't receive a call that it was ready. We tried calling, no answer. We left messages, never to be returned. We called multiple times, no answer, no return calls. We had to go back again in person because there was no communication with us. No one was there. We waited an hour and someone arrived. They were shocked to see us and told us it would be another two weeks. Two more weeks passed and the same thing happened. When we went in, it had now been a month since we made payment. They told us two more weeks. This happened again until we had waited 4 months. We demanded a refund and they said they would refund half, give us a discount and have it ready in two weeks. Two weeks passed, then two more. We waited almost 6 months and still nothing was ready. We came in to check on it and they had not even started it. We demanded full refund and said we can pay for it once it is delivered. Two more weeks passed, calls dodged, voicemails not returned. We came in person again to check on the items. They were painted the wrong color from what we ordered even though we picked the color swatch out with them the very first visit over six months ago at that point. They said two more weeks. Two more weeks passed and nothing. No call from them, dodges calls and voicemails, no update. We checked Facebook marketplace to see our items we ordered half done in the wrong paint color with out the fabric we wanted up for sale on there. We were so hurt by the dishonesty of this company, their lack of professionalism and their extremely rude customer service. We trusted them with not only our savings of $4,000 but also over 6 months of our time from our busy lives. The disrespect is heartbreaking and unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all ever. Hopefully they read this and see how to treat people to learn from it so no one ever has to experience this from them ever again, but it doesn't seem they care at all about their customers money or time in the least sadly.

I tried asking questions through advertised furniture being sold on Marketplace. The person who was responding refused to give me a phone number to talk to the store. They just kept giving me an address and store hours. I'm not local but am trying to furnish a studio on the island; I'd like to talk to an associate or owner to be able to ask questions, but apparently they don't offer that option. Very poor customer service and after googling the address and reading the reviews, I'll happily take my money elsewhere.

I didn't think this place was still open but the second time I went by, they were. I stopped in and talked to Atin. She was very friendly and let me know that they would be able to recover some furniture that I had or if I wanted to replace it they have some nice rattan options. If I do work with them, I will update my review.

I wanted to reupholster 4 rattan chairs...old Pier One pieces. Old IKEA, Pier One, etc furniture are well made and worth recycling by reupholstering. The owner is a bit prickly but her staff are always friendly and helpful. I selected the fabric and left 2 chairs to begin with. It took a long time to get the 1st 2 done. I'd call every week but was told, "soon, soon" until 4 weeks had passed, was told they would call. They eventually did do, so I took the second pair in. Each time, I paid down on my deposit. I finally got all 4, which is why 4 not 5 stars. They do quality work and have parking which makes it easier if you know you can drive over for pickup and delivery.

Expensive. Poor service. Poor quality. Poor communication. I gave them more than three times the fabric they needed to make two cushion sets for me. I was told I would get the leftover back when they were done. I didn't. When my cushions were finally ready, there was a black pen mark on the white fabric. The owner acknowledged that it was the seamstress's fault. I asked her to make me new cushion covers using the extra fabric I had previously provided. She agreed. Never heard from her again. Also, the price she charged me for the new cushions was much higher than what she advertised on FB marketplace (even though I provided my own fabric). I paid it because I thought the quality would be worth it, but then my new cushions came with black ink and she kept all my extra fabric... It was an expensive mistake to use Rattan Creations.

Called Rattan Creation on January 1 2022 they came and picked up my furniture set and we put a deposit of $500.00. Never got a call to say it was ready or when it will be ready.Every time i would call "NOT READY YET SORRY " I dont have workers. Long story short I waited 0ne year and seven months.Fed up on August 19 we went there to pick up my furniture and got my deposit back.I would not recommend Rattan Creations to anyone.

I am SO happy with my new Rattan cushion covers! There were so many fabric options, the price was really reasonable for custom cushions, and they were ready much sooner than Atin promised (a week to 10 days).I will be back to have them refurbish my rattan firniture which has some water damage.I am grateful that they are still in business here in Honolulu after all these years (and the pandemic)Mahalo to Rattan Creations.

Wow, I read some not-so-favorable reviews on Rattan Creations, but I just had a super awesome experience and wanted to take the time to promote the friendly, responsive, crafted work of Atin and her team. I did a lot of research to find great reviews on upholsterers in Honolulu; and I was going to go with another recommendation...but my mom and some others, to include a store that sells Hawaiian bark cloth fabric cushion covers, all told me that the best place to go to for these projects, was Rattan Creations. I am so happy I followed that recommendation. Atin was patient and helpful; and she didn't need much to fulfill my vision.My mom reupholstered her entire living room rattan set to include throw pillows and it is an amazing refresh. Rattan Creations had tons of tropical fabrics to choose from. At the same time, I gave Atin fabric I purchased on Spoonflower to reupholster the cushions, with piping on an old rattan love seat and it came out perfectly. I am getting tons of compliments on it and she was able to create seamless-fit and well-sewn covers. I even had them repair the bottom and I feel like the pricing was completely fair, especially with the quick turnaround time for a custom piece. I am beyond impressed and I want to reupholster everything that I can with them since I can attest to their fine work product.They are limited on parking, but other than that - don't give it another thought - I highly recommend having your upholstery needs taken care of here...whether you have rattan or vintage koa sets...they won't disappoint.

They refurbished my parents 6 stand Paul Frankl rattan chairs. Absolutely stunning. Thank you folks. Best Rattan on island.
