I love their poke bowl. I always try a different drink when I go there. So far I haven't been disappointed. Plenty of gluten free options.

I absolutely love Raised by the Waves for so many reasons. The food is always fresh, the vegetables are crisp, and the smoothies are vibrant and delicious. The quality of ingredients and care in preparation truly stand out.A couple of months ago, one of the employees kindly suggested a great solution when I mentioned that my Aloha Salad was swimming in oil. She said I could request all oils and dressings on the side so I could control how much is added. I thought that was a fantastic idea and have been making that request ever since.Unfortunately, despite being very clear about my preference, this has now happened three times--my salad arrives drenched in oil. As a traveling mobile notary, I love stopping by when I'm in the area for a fresh organic bite, but it's frustrating to feel like my requests aren't being honored, especially when the solution seemed so simple. This experience won't keep me from coming back, but I do hope this feedback helps improve the process because this is otherwise such an amazing spot!

The food itself is fine. I think it needs more seasoning, but the selection is broad for plant-based folks and the ingredients used seem fresh and locally sourced. The uppers bagel was good, but nothing special. Again, both the beet hummus and the vegan cheeze needed more seasoning as it was pretty bland. They are pretty though! The service is really where I am dinging them in ratings. We placed a mobile order of two bagels and it said it would be ready in about 30-35 minutes, which is fine. But when I got there to check in, I tried getting the attention of one of the employees there multiple times and she would bring food out, I would try to get her attention but then she would walk away and act like she didn't hear me. We didn't get our food until 10:33, and they forgot about my friend's coffee whose mobile order was supposed to be ready at 10:15 and she didn't get it until around 10:40 after reminding them twice. All to say, the service is not great and the mobile ordering requires you to tip 15% as a "staff gratuity service charge." For that mandated gratuity, I would expect better service. The area and outdoor seating and overall aesthetic is very cute though!

We were staying near Kahuku and needed our morning coffee fix. Cute coffee shop with plant based food options. Lots of open parking. About 4 tables outside. Coffee was realllyyyy goood! You can taste the quality. The salted caramel coffee and cold brew. Milk options was almond/oat. Tried the GF sunrise waffle. My first GF waffle experience at this plant based cafe. You can taste the quality when eating it. Must try with needing your morning or afternoon coffee and want a healthy snack or meal.

Kahuku can be quite the food desert on Mormon 'rest' day of the week. Even with all the food trucks, your best bet on a Sunday is either McDonald's or Turtle bay. So either the cheapest, or most expensive breakfast. We settled on trying this spot - Raised By The Waves - and for someone who is not too crazy about vegan food, I was impressed! We tried the Chuns bahn mi sando and banzai bagel. It did fill us up after being super hungry from a long night at a wedding on the north shore. There was live music surprisingly by our friend which set a nice ambiance. It's worth a try if you're in the area and hungry!

Small cafe and very healthy options on the menu. Outside dining with a few tables. Very cute decor. We just got drinks only since we ate already.Drinks are at least $8+. Drink and food options are quite unique. We decided to try some unique ones that we can't get in town side. - shroom matcha latte- never heard this before. It was more on the bitter side. Healthy!- seamoss lava flow - must be a healthier version. Not too sweet either. I would love to try the food and other drink options next time.

Super amazing VEGAN food. This place is located in the Kahuku Sugar Mill. I had the poke bowl which was delicious! The consistency and flavor was spot on. I felt like I was eating real poke. The staff was awesome and friendly. Food is seriously top notch! The restaurant is in an actual building, it's not a good truck. If you're there, go try the Beer Garden! PARKING: Lots of parking available.

I need to come to Kahuku more often because they have so many interesting eateries. This cafe is small, yet super cute. Stopped by here to grab something to drink. It took me a minute to decide on which drink to get. I wanted to get a smoothie so I decided on the Raggamuffin. The smoothie contained strawberry, banana, blueberry, bee pollen, spirulina, coconut butter, honey, and almond milk. The drink came out to $13, without tip. It's a bit pricey for a smoothie but it does include ingredients you may not typically find at other cafes. I like that this cafe offers a wide variety of options with healthy and plant based ingredients. I'm not sure I would come to Kahuku just for this place, but if I'm in the area I may try out some of their other menu items.

I want to start by saying I'm not vegan but I enjoy vegan food and I'm no stranger as a lot of my friends are and honestly it's good for me and doesn't upset my stomach! I saw you could order online while we were in Kahuku but the wait was 30-45 mins for online orders so we walked over to order. It took just as long if not longer. The girl rang up the order wrong twice and had to correct it. The food was good and satiating. I was full after and the flavors were bright and new. The banzai bagel was good. Got the vegan cheese and it was nice. The bowl was also delicious and I liked all the fresh veggies. The addition of falafel would have been good if they weren't so dry - it was like eating drywall. I had to use nearly all the dressing to eat it! And I felt that they didn't give you enough dressing or enough sriracha considering I paid $0.50 for a little cup of it. But I love sriracha so maybe that's just me wanting more. It was a good experience but I probably wouldn't go again.
