Rainforest at Kilohana Square

These guys knock it out of the park. If you don't like them, you're not for them. I woke up at 4 am today, realizing I needed a very special bouquet. I emailed them with my order, asked to pick up later this morning, and they emailed me back upon opening (7am). I showed up... IT WAS GORGEOUS. I knew right then that the recipients would love it. And 15 minutes later, as I gave it to them, I knew I was right. This was a bouquet that turned heads and will be remembered. Coming back the next time I need a very special bouquet.

Absolutely the only florist I use for any occasion. Mike Miyashiro is an artist and he has the most beautiful flowers. Recently they helped us with a memorial service for a family member and they couldn't have been easier to work with or have provided a more beautiful arrangement. I followed them from their Ward location to their Kilohana Square location off of Kapahulu.

I'm having a difficult time like everyone else. Decided to splurge and order flowers to cheer myself up after having friends die / sick from Covid. Been quarantined working on a movie. The guy on the phone was beyond awful. Mostly tone was awful and no options given. Said no deliveries today-? There's so many delivery services?! Rude. No condolences or empathy and hung up on me. Hope management knows his name. Called today at around noon. Thankfully other flower establishments were friendly and customer oriented. Empathetic. I've followed this company on social media forever but no longer

I've been a loyal customer for decades, since they've had the tiny Ward location. Consumers may complain that the flowers are pricey, but you're paying for the artistry and the integrity. Each time I have come to them with a request they were able to interpret it with mastery and precision through beautiful arrangements. Rainforest understands that arrangements are for SPECIAL occasions for that SPECIAL person and it's just not the "same old same old".

I love flowers. I have flowers in my home at all times. And when I need to order something, this is always my go-to place. Rainforest is my favorite flower shop in Honolulu because Michael the designer and owner is a gifted floral artist with the best eye. He makes flowers even more gorgeous because of his skill in putting everything together. A feast for your eyes!Order on line....or go in or call. Be specific about the types of flowers you want added and discuss the effect you want and cost. A bit more than other shops, but so worth it.

I have been patronizing Rainforest Florists since they were located at Ward Warehouse. Their flowers are ALWAYS beautiful and fresh! I usually purchase their cut anthuriums which, if properly cared for, lasts for almost 2 months. Since my boss has a preference for the green anthuriums, I always call at least a day or 2 in advance asking if they'd be able to hold least 8 for me. They have ALWAYS graciously done so. Rainforest Florist is the only place I'd go to for cut flowers. Not only is the customer service great, I also get to see the most loving and beautiful pittie and parrot.

I ordered arrangements to my families and friends in Honolulu from Japan. The arrangements arrived at the nominated time and everyone was very pleased with the flowers.My experience with Rainforest was top class.

Appalling customer service. Family member off-island ordered a bouquet for me as a condolence for a recently passed away family member. When it arrived and I posted on social media, a few friends (Vets) commented on how one of the flowers could possibly be a Flower toxic to my pet cats. To make sure since we are uneducated on flowers, we contacted Michael JUST for the names of the flowers given to see if we should remove them. Upon calling we were met with personal attacks on our character saying we are "bad owners" and that "whatever Vet told you that is ludicrous, pets eat flowers all the time" despite there being an FDA.Gov site about toxic flowers for pets after a quick google search. We NEVER asked for a refund, NEVER said it was their fault, NEVER asked for any type of compensation - just the name of the flowers given and that's what we were met with. The lack of empathy was astounding. You are the professional on the topic and we were the uneducated just asking for more information and become educated. You might be a botanist for 25 years but your Customer Service is still INTRO101 because clearly, those things are not mutually exclusive. But after seeing other reviews here, our experience seems to be common. Word of mouth is powerful on island; god bless.

Whether it's cut flowers or arrangements, Rainforest never disappoints and always exceeds my expectations! The tropical flowers are always fresh and are the best selection I found anywhere.

Michael and his staff have been our family favorite for beautifully arranged floral for years. Last-minute calls for special occasions have always been expertly delivered with coloful and unique arrangements. I highly recommend.
