Daughter use to attend here. They never really helped with the children, they just watched the kids but never assisted or helped. I asked the girl in the front if I can pay for 1:1 and she said they don't offer that. I would call if my daughter wouldn't be able to make it. And they didn't seem to care. We stopped going and no one ever called us to ask if we were okay or follow up. We also had to remind the girl in the front when it was time for us to make our payment for the month. Probably many kids go in for free because they don't pay attention to anything. Many of the kids in her class switched to another gym.

We started coming here because one of the owner family members also works with my husband. Our daughter is 4 and we wanted something she could do that would allow her to socialize with other children and also help exert energy before she began preschool. We've been coming here for a few months and love it! There's a waitlist to do the initial free trial but the wait-list moves fast! We got a call within a couple of weeks. So far she's loving coming every weekend! They also allow makeup classes in case you miss a day (ex: we missed a class due to our wedding)....just make sure to let them know ahead of time so they can coordinate when to reschedule you!

Plenty of mats and obstacles for the kids to learn. Workers are friendly but there is structure so the kids aren't running around wild. The price is very reasonable. The only bad thing is there's no AC. It's in a wear house so the kids get extra hot running and jumping around while the parents wait in the sun or in one of the few chairs that are in the shade.

My girls having been coming here for the past 2 1/2 months and they absolutely love it! Rainbow gymnastics has been around for 30+ years, is a family owned/operated business, and is located in the harbor center in aiea, right next to Jelly's. The space is quite adequate as they do offer all the basic gym equipment, including parallel bars, high and low beams, a trampoline and a padded area where they do their floor routines amongst the many other things. They do offer a complimentary trial class, just be sure to give them a call first. When we first were inquiring, the friendly instructors were ok with us watching how the class is taught. They have a website that shows the different age groups and the times that are offered. They offer classes for children 20m and up. They don't hold classes on a friday. Classes are paid for on a monthly basis. Their is a sibling discount of $3 if you have more than one child. Classes are priced differently depending on how many classes you take a week, you can take up to 3 classes a week. Length of class varies depending on your age. For my two girls that are in the 7+ age group, their class is 75 min. long. Twice a year they have a movie night type of thing. They kids watched a movie against the big white wall, ate pizza, and then had brownie sundaes! It was a treat for the kids and we were able to drop them and pick them up when they were done.I think I finally found an activity that my kids enjoy. My kids love coming here and they like coming to practice everytime.

I don't like to give local businesses negative reviews. I want all local business to succeed. This place has been around forever. Both my daughters have gone here. So my review is after giving this business a fair time to prove my opinion wrong. The teachers here come off as apathetic and uncaring. As if it is just a job and they will stand there as directed and give robotic feedback. Now there are some with tons of personality and who engage with the students but that is not the norm. However, if you're on the wait list (up to a year long) at the more popular gyms and your child really really really wants to enroll in gymnastics and your choices are limited, then you may want to just shell over your $55 a month to keep your child active and at least maintaining interest in the sport.

When enrolling, I was disappointed right away, I felt practically ignored, no smile, no warmth, no "glad to see you". Didn't feel like they cared if we were there or not. Whatever happened to customer service? Coach Shannon was great, the male coach was great too and had passion for the kids. The other 2 coaches seemed like they were going through the motions to get the class done with. Perhaps they take on too many kids. I like to spend my hard earned money at a place I feel welcome & happy to come to. If I felt otherwise, I would give it much higher marks because they have a lot to offer in their facility. Perhaps they could improve their customer relations. Tried Island Tumblers and was greeted with a smile & compassion for our kid! priceless!

Teachers don't engage much. My kid has been in this gym and other gyms in another states. This place doesn't have any creative exercises for the kiddos. A little boring. No accommodation for special needs.
