Rainbow Craft Company

Rainbow Craft Company is a great wholesale spot for shells, some lei (not flower), and other items that you'd find at the swap meet. We shop here to get supplies to make art with the items, but there are carved paddles and other touristy stuff as well. Tip: The location isn't always open - make sure to call and see when the owner will be in the warehouse. He is very very friendly and you can't beat the prices!

Always friendly and helpful. My family and I always come here for shell or kukui nut leis. They also have a lot of little trinkets if you need Hawaii themed gifts for mainland Ohana. Small family owned business, support local!

Talk about a hidden gem!Rainbow Craft Company is a wholesale Distributor featuring nearly every gift shop and souvenirs imaginable and see sold at all Waikiki stores and shops for a faction of the cost. The owners are very personable and honest with their pricing. To my knowledge they accept cash and cards, but I always pay in cash. When I bring my daughter's the owners always insist on giving them a small free gift, really nice. I recommend this business to everyone. You can spend hours in their small store admiring theor vast collection of beautiful gifts.

Owners are very friendly and honest. They are well stocked with so many things. I always purchase my kukui nut and shell leis here. Always give me good price.It is family owned so sometimes they may not be at the store during the business hours because they need to get things from their other warehouse (restock).

I have came here on two occasions to buy center pieces for my babies first birthday parties. The owner is so accommodating and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend going here for any party decoration needs you may have. They are located over by Nimitz in an industrial area building. Easy parking so it makes your trip fast and convenient.

Came here when I had some down time while I was on this side of the island to find out the store was locked up. When I called the store to make sure I had the right location I was told that they are "going to open late." I was shocked and mad but I stayed calm and asked "when is 'late'", I was told noon. It's 10:30am now... I'm not waiting.This is very unexceptional and I hope no one wastes their time coming in the mornings like I did. Hopefully they fix their hours if they have a problem showing up to work!Update- They are hoarders of some amazing treasures. You must see them if you're into nautical trinkets and decorations. Also good for crafters or collectors.

It's a warehouse in a commercial district, kinda hard to find, but well worth the search. Lots of different shells and tourist items at a fraction of the price elsewhere. The owners were very nice people, in fact, I'd say they were honestly the nicest local people we've met over our week-long stay. If you're looking for some things to take back home, make the effort to come here and skip the ABC stores and tourist trap stores!

Amazing! My wife and kids are so glad we found this place. After two weeks in Hawaii, this is the highlight of their trip. All kinds of shells. Every kind of shell you could imagine: sea urchins, sandollars, sea stars. Tropical home decor: wood carvings and other souvenirs...at wholesale prices! Donald, the owner was super friendly and very patient with us.
