The snacks were my favorite picks and I had them sent to my family in OR. There was an option to leave any special notes for the delivery and I had asked for the purchase receipt to be sent to my email electronically and not included with the actual package, however, the receipt was included and my family insisted on paying me back for it which I was trying to avoid! lolBeside that, my family had only the best things to say about the local snacks I gifted them! Found this place because my friend was craving crackseed, shave ice, candy, etc. The first time I went I got the hurricane popcorn, seeds, and malt chocolate balls. What I really went crazy for is the hurricane popcorn. Let me tell you, this place by far is the best I've ever tasted! Taste like the original from cosmic candy in waikele. Extra butter, is how I order it. The flavor is so addicting! I don't care I live west side, if it's good, I'll travel no matter how far it is. They have ice cream, boba drinks, snacks galore! In fact my friends in Vegas is asking me to bring up. I'll bring some love to Vegas cuz it's so good! Staff is very friendly and nice. Please call in your popcorn order, as the machine doesn't work sometimes. Just thinking about the popcorn is making me salivate. Maybe I go right now! Definitely winnahazzz!!!

We were running errands at Windward City Shopping Center and my daughter is obsessed with Shave Ice. After lunch, we decided to stop by Rainbow Crack Seed. It was perfect since my husband was also going on a trip soon, and needed some snacks for the plane ride. We got some snacks and of course shave ice. It is huge! We could not eat it fast enough. But I loved that they did shave ice at the bottom THEN ice cream, then shave ice. The ice cream was sandwiched between the shave ice, which kept it solid longer and made it really tasty! My daughter and I really enjoyed it.

Here's the thing, some reviews are clearly from tourist who don't understand how local mom and pop crack seed operate - Ignore those. I can't believe people are complaining about price of the shave ice - it reflects the size and also inflation. I have no problem supporting small local businesses and paying their prices.Customer service was great. Everything was operating and the store was stocked.This is what there is to know -Shave ice is done operating at 5pmPopcorn is 3:30pm (actually not too sure I didn't take a pic)They have what you'd expect from lots of crack seed stores - li hing gummies, mochi crunch, jars of pickled goodies, icee float, with some added plushies and toys.I came in for their shave ice - crunchy yet fine ice with an array of flavors - I got strawberry colada, mango, and guava. ALWAYS ADD CONDENSED MILK ON TOP - iykykPROS - their small is HUGE and my favorite part is they put toppings at the bottom of their bowls below the ice cream so you'll get that with the ice at the bottom. Genius!CON - their ice cream at the bottom of the shave ice's consistency was more like a soft serve than ice cream. Throws off the texture.

On the way home my wife suggested that we get a Shaved Ice. Rainbow Crack seed is located in Windward City Shopping Center on the mall near Foodland. We ordered a couple of snack items and a small Rainbow Shave Ice. The service was friendly and fast. The ice was not as fine as I like. The flavors on the Rainbow are strawberry, vanilla and banana. None of which stood out. Enjoy.

A staple in Kaneohe for many years. One of the last remaining crack seed stores on the island. Great spot to grab an afternoon snack. And a fantastic place to buy Christmas gifts, graduation gifts, or omiyage. Prices are fair and they have a vast selection of local treats. Definitely a go-to spot.Regarding some of the other posts... Rainbow Crack Seed has been in business for a long time serving the Kaneohe community. They don't need your pompous suggestions on how to run their business. They have loyal customers who follow basic etiquette. If you arrive after they stop serving shave ice, don't expect them to prolong their cleanup for your convenience. If the cash register is broken, why do you expect them to take your cash? They are not street vendors. Service is great. Friendly to all those who treat them with respect. I understand providing critical feedback when warranted. But I can't sit back and watch a local favorite get slandered and receive a bad Yelp rating that's undeserved because of entitled behavior. Aloha.
