I was invited to a birthday party which was held at the Rainbow Bay Pavillion. The Pavillion itself is set alongside the waters of Pearl Harbor. It's has a nice view of the Harbor. Spacious and clean. The seating iwere metal park benches. The grassy area surrounding the pavillion can accommodate bouncy houses and additional tents. Parking was not a problem. You will need a military sponsor to book here. Enjoy

Great place to host an event. Pavilion with bench seats and tables. Ocean view. Large grass area. Restroom availability. This place would be great for family parties, birthday parties, baby showers, recreational activities, and even private functions.Today's visit was because of the MAKAHIKI festival which my sons Cornwall and Hula Halal had performed for today. Aside of the activities for the MAKAHIKI festival, the performance was awesome. Being that they did a lot on their own by themselves for the first time they did well.HOWEVER, to hold an event & to utilize these facilities, you must have MILITARY CONNECTIONS. OF COURSE, Public access is available to civilians, but with LIMITED ACCESS to the beachfront & shores ONLY. Civilians are NOT ALLOWED to use or rent the facilities. I asked the CITY & COUNTY and they said this place IS NOT on their list & as far as for the STATE, they said they have no rental information on these facilities. So... that means... it's through MILITARY OFFICIALS ONLY!To be honest, I'm SURE military will say it's because this is "PEARL HARBOR", where their military is located, they have to take precautions to whom has access to the area. WHICH FOR ME, KINDA SUCKS because this place WAS once where my kupunas (older aunts & uncles) used swim & look for oyesters for food & pearls for jewelry/decorations, WAAY before the HARBOR was built for the military and now... a grandniece of theirs, a KANAKA, has LIMITED access to the area. As a civilian... we're FORBIDDEN from using "THEIR FACILITY". Doesn't really seem fair, doesn't it?! But that's the so called RULES. let's hope in due time there is a way to allow civilians the use of this area WITHOUT military connections. Anywho, if you have a chance to rent this spot, GO FOR IT!!!! And be sure to TAKE CARE OF THE PLACE TOO! Just because military has the say over this area, doesn't mean we should destroy or ruin the property itself. It is still OUR AINA! And Regardless if your ARE KANAKA OR NOT, just treat this place as if it was YOUR OWN HOME. And if you MISTREAT it and say that's how you'd treat your own home, then I can only imagine how embarrassed your parents must feel to have raised such a sloppy individual. POOR THING, YOU... SAD... SAD... SAD... BEING.Okie dokes... artichokes! Have a good one and thanks for reading.

Awesome place to have a large party. You do need a military sponsor. It's a large area in the A frame area. 5 rows of tables with 8 tables in each row. You cannot move the tables. There is power for light duty stereo, lights. Nothing heavy duty though. Parking is free, close and easy to find. The area comes with large bbq I think there were two. It does get windy here so mind your decorations! They allow bounce houses.

We rented Pavilion or Cabana C for our annual picnic. The views are very nice of the marina, it has a built in grill, picnic tables, and grassy area. The restrooms are under Restaurant 604 and down a hall which is shared with the restaurant. The horseshoe pits are behind the cabana which is sort of a downfall as people can't watch from the pavilion. Also the sun will end up beating down inside the pavilion after 2pm and it gets pretty hot. But we just moved to the side under the tree or behind the cabana. Nobody rented the adjacent cabana so we used both horseshoe pits. It was $75 to rent and my friend is DOD. Lots of parking. Decent venue clean and away from the homeless is always a plus. No glass bottles allowed just bring cans or flasks. The harbor water looked cleaner than expected to swim in but nobody went in. The restrooms do have showers. There is a water spigot next to each cabana to wash utensils etc. Also has electricity and lights. We enjoyed a sunset and then left.

I believe you learn something new every day! My "new" was discovering this venue! My hubby's company held their annual Christmas party at this venue yesterday and I was at a complete loss as to why he was turning into the Arizona Memorial location.First off, yes as another review indicated - military sponsor is required to book this venue. Location - follow directions to Arizona Memorial but instead of parking there - veer towards the right and follow the road. It will then split and you'll want to the road on the left and it will lead you past Restaurant 604 and the marina, keep going and you'll find a parking lot and this huge pavilion.Lots of grassy space to run, play and sunbathe. No beach but you can launch SUP, kayaks and boats from here. You can rent watercrafts from the MWR as well if you have that benefit. The pavilion itself seats upwards of 150 (I think I saw someone post max capacity was 200). We had a huge party with bouncers on premise. The bouncer looked small in proportion to the grassy area. Steel picnic table/benches were plentiful and quite clean but hard on the okole (buttocks). Overall very nice facility to host / attend an outdoor event. Bathrooms on site and free parking available. The stalls were taken but we were allowed to park in the grassy area by the road.I can't attest for the water quality / depth / conditions but from a distance I could see sailboats and kayakers enjoying the deep waters off the harbor. Great venue for a company or family gathering!! Definitely bookmarking for future use.

Great place to have an outdoor event or party! Area is very spacious and open! You have lots of room for activities for your guests like bouncers, outdoor games, etc. The kids can run loose and enjoy the grassy area and harbor shoreline. The pavilion is very large and can probably accommodate 100-150 people easily maybe even more...I think the max is 200. There are 4 or 5 rows of 5 large bench tables. Bbq area with grills on one side and a shoe horse game on the other side. Bathrooms and limited parking stalls are available near by. There is also a smaller pavilion available but it's more like a tented area not really a pavilion and it accommodates a smaller crowd. That area is located right next to the bathrooms across the parking lot and I think it's called Rainbow Point Pavilion (another option). The only thing about outdoor venues are the flies that like to come by but that's expected being outdoors in the open..just keep the food covered. On the day of our party it was nice and sunny but also pretty windy so we struggled with keeping our table covers down. But it was a great place for the event. Loved the views of the harbor and the marina..it was a beautiful day. To reserve the pavilion, if you are not military you may need a sponsor (government/military) to book your event and they will need to be on site. It costs $250 to reserve plus a $100 deposit for clean up, so you get that back if you cleanup after yourselves. And because it's government property they do have some restrictions. But another great thing about this location is you don't need to get thru a security check point, that was a plus for us. I would definitely recommend this location because it's affordable and has lots of potential for planning a great party!

Wanted to rent out this venue for a birthday. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon, and besides a family returning their rented boats, there was nobody around. Although it's right next to the Rainbow Point Pavilion, the whole area was empty. Positives -Lots of grassy area for bounce castles or sports (volleyball poles, horseshoe pits on site) -Nice view of the water and you can see the Arizona Memorial -BBQ grills and large bucket for chilling drinks -About 15-20 parking stalls nearby plus overflow area -Bathrooms about 30 feet away -About six electrical outlets & lights also a water spout -Staff is helpful and answers emails pretty quickly Negatives -Tables were a bit dirty and dated -There WERE a lot of flies near the trash -Strange odor near the water So it's a really inexpensive venue with a lot of room but it's not what we had in mind for our baby first birthday

Awesome place to have any event. I recently had my son's birthday party here and it was such a great space. It was so pretty, big, and clean. You can have so much stuff going on here. We had a very big bouncy castle which fit. It probably could fit a lot more if you would like. A lot of tables, a nice stage area. You can bring horseshoes to play. Grill area, with a container where you can put your cold drinks in. Everyone enjoyed everything, it's such an awesome place to have a party. The bathrooms are also pretty decent, you also need to make sure to lock it up when you leave. Parking is also great, lots of spaces, you can park on the grass. The only thing that sucks is that you have to leave early, which is 8pm! Other than that I definitely would recommend this place for any sort of event.
