I think there are 2 different posts of this same restaurant, but since I already checked in, I might as well give a review on this one too.Located in Kapalama Shopping Center, same lot as Zippy's, maybe it was an off day, but once in a while I'd eat here and the seafood ramen was pretty good. However, today, the food and service wasn't as good:Seafood ramen - 3 stars - used to be fresher, but today the fish and seafood tasted old and chewy, and the soup didn't have that much flavor. It was ok, but hard to swallow since it wasn't satisfying.Chicken Katsu plate - 3.5 stars - my friend ordered this, and I thought it was pretty good because the chicken was juicy and not dry. However, he didn't care for the batter and oil that it was fried in. Although they gave a lot, he only ate half of his plate because it was too soggy and oily.Service - 3 stars - There was only one female employee that was both the waitress and cashier. At first I called and asked if they had free gyoza during non peak hours since at 3p, we were searching for a ramen place to dine in at and might as well find one that offered free gyoza, but she misunderstood me and told me yes because she thought I asked if they had gyoza. Thus, no free gyoza when we arrived, and we didn't order as well. At first she wasn't too happy while seating us, but then smiled and acted more friendly while bringing our ramen to the table.Lots of parking since this is in Kapalama Shopping Center.

The food was ok. I ordered the katsu shrimp ramen. I should have asked for the katsu shrimp on the side. I actually wished they served it on the side. It was already soggy by the time I got my food. The noodles were overcooked. It should have been slightly cooked since the broth was so hot. This was the only thing I ordered. The restaurant was clean stand the server was really nice and we got our food quickly.

Rairai ramen has been around for many years. I enjoy the simple ramen that they have and their combos. I miss when they use to put a bunch of bean sprouts in their ramen. I get the miso ramen and gyoza combo! You can't go wrong. The broth is also very tasty! Don't expect anything too fancy, this is really Hawaii comfort food.

Super cute place! There is lots of parking and I love the faux brick wall and the Japanese wall art. The food was great! It was fast and delicious for a last minute impromptu lunch on this rainy day. Service was great as our waitress was very attentive and always came around to ask if everything was ok. We ate the gyoza too, no pic lol, we ate it all. Will definitely be back!

We had planned to pick up dinner fromAhi and Vegetables. Checking our options in the area, we decided to have our lunch in Rai Rai. Ramen. This is a small shop with about six tables. Our server was polite , she sat us down and brought us water and a couple of menus. I ordered the House ramen ,my wife ordered miso ramen and a side of goyza. Overall, the ramens were on par for this type of ramen shop. The deep-fried oyster was the high lite of my meal. I would order this as side if I come again. Enjoy

Excellent food!! Abundant flavors! Small place to dine, but that's never an issue when food and service are both great! Quaint place. The depth of the broth... makes you look at your person and say "Wow! That is delicious! You should try this broth." The flavor and tenderness of the gyoza was beyond! Our toddler wouldn't stop eating the gyoza even without the sauce. He gobbled up the miso broth too. I think I ordered another gyoza to go, it was so good!This is a must when we come back to visit the islands again! Affordable and amazing food!

We've visited this space before it was Rai Rai and we are pleasantly surprised by how they really elevated the overall customer experience. The establishment is well-kept and the service is quick. The food offerings are similar to many other similar establishments, yet, we found it to be more flavorful and tasty. The portions are good--you will leave with a full tummy without breaking the bank. Parking is easy to find in the lot.

The food just wasn't good. The beef was hard to chew because it was really soft. The bamboo shoot tasted like it was in the package for too long. And I found a small piece of hair in my beef which I don't know who it belonged too. But their attitude and service was good.
