Rachel's Lei Stand

Ordered over 20 leis to be taken to the mainland for graduation. Made the order at the end if April to lock in prices (per Rachel's post about the upcoming graduation season). Lei pickup was for June 1. I had contacted Rachel two days before the scheduled pickup day to ensure I could pickup the leis at a time that was convenient for me. When i arrived that morning, the lei stand didnt have more than 1/2 my leis for my order and told me i had to come back at a later time. I said i couldnt i needed to be checked in at the airport at that time so they moved up the time by 30mins which still made it very close for me. When i came back my leis were ready but no one ever appologized until i talked to Rachel (not sure if thats her name, the owner) which it took her a while to appologize. I was in such a rush, i packed up the leis and headed to the airport. Once i arrived in the mainland, and got to look at the leis, about 5 was un tied and none of the leis had ribbons on them. Also the Haku, i was promise i would be given options to choose from and was very specific about it was for a male and how i wanted it to look a certain way. I was given to options none of which matched what i told them i wanted, so i was stuck with a regular ti leaf haku which was not worth the price i paid. Overall my experience with this lei stand was terrible. This was not my first bad experience with them, but the first wasnt so bad so i gave them another try.

I found the most beautiful haku lei and other flower lei combinations that were perfect for graduation! Good prices and best quality! Fresh and fragrant leis! Exceeded my expectations! They were so helpful and had patience with my indecisiveness, in the end, I found exactly what I was looking for! love Love LOVE!!

Happy mothers day! Best time for them to gauge prices!! I am soo disappointed in this lei stand!! I have been buying from Rachel's for a while now, for paddling events, graduation, ect. I normally order in advance for mothers day but i was told I couldn't then i went over to the stand. Two girls told me they are bringing puakenikeni out but its gonna take 2 hours for them to strand, i told them np i will wait, i called in advance and was told they got, drive over and Filipino lady was working the stand, she was absolutely rude!!! At first she told me $20 and then wen i was ready to pay she said $25. I was with my boyfriend and he was trying to correct her and she held her ground and tild me "no 20". So being desperate and becuz it was for my mother, grandmother, and aunty i bought them. Needless to say i will be taking my business and tell others who i recommend to go here to now to take there business somewhere else. Buy local they say well...y when they try to hustle you. 'A'ole!!!!!

I believe the owner is who I dealt with on Mother's Day. ATM Inside & use of iPad credit/debit terminal makes it quick w/e-receipt.SUPER NICE & VERY GOOD service, for a busy morning like that, she was quick but not rushing me & helped me get in & out of the chaos that surrounded that day...so THANK YOU....BUT because as I was rushing & didn't look at the price & made the assumption she knew the price..but she asked me if it was $30 & like an idiot I agreed because I wanted to get out of there..MY BAD..so if it's busy, always double check the price..but great customer service, I'll take the hit if I paid more than I should have. :)THAT ^ was my first experience, 4 stars....below is regarding my 2nd visit.returned to Rachel's to get a lei for Father's Day. because I had such a great experience the first time, naturally, this is the place I'd go back to.bought the yelp deal $10 for $20 to spend here and CLEARLY on Yelp it says "print OR show phone" to redeem the offer.the lady that was working this night was beyond rude & not just because she didn't honor the deal I just burned $ on....no customer service. PERIOD.so that left me to stroll along to other stands, one lady was very nice but the lei she offered looked like it was on the verge of dead...others offered what they had...settled for the best I could find for my father.Remember this...IT IS YOUR MONEY supporting a business. PAY FOR WHAT YOU WANT/NEED....& I REFUSE TO PAY FOR F'D UP CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Go in and see Olaa. I ordered lei for our Christmas Parade and they were beautiful! The Christmas lei with double tuberose, tinsel, and ornaments were a total hit. They were really great in suggesting alternatives based on your budget and very accommodating. MAHALO!!!

Rachel's lei stand is awesome!! I was calling around for a last minute order for a corsage and all the florists were turning me down saying that I'd need a 2 day minimum request to have a corsage made. Places were either too busy or they had nothing to offer me. I called Rachel's in hopes they could help me and to my surprise, they could!! I was so excited since I've been stressing all day long to have an order made and she delivered!! I ordered a yellow rose corsage with white details and rhinestones for $25. Not bad for a rushed order! Thank you so much

They didn't have a blue one like i was looking for so she colored it blue for me!$30 total

At the airport location. Very nice "helper" . My family has been doing business with Rachel's for over 50 years. I even got a flower for my hair.

I purchased two lei for family members arriving on Oahu. The lei were beautiful and well made. Rachel was attentive and very sweet, but the best part of this experience was what she did after I purchased the lei and was leaving the area. I had my dog with me when I stopped at Rachel's lei stand. She kept commenting on how good my dog was behaving. When we were walking away after the purchase, she ran after us and gifted my dog with her very own lei that Rachel made smaller so it would fit her perfectly. My dog is very special to me, and this gesture alone made me a loyal customer. I will always go back to Rachel anytime I need to purchase a lei.
