Consistency, flavor, and satisfaction still a mainstay. This remains one of those shops I have to visit when I'm on the island. This time around we orders the usuals favorites but I also added the mountain+sprout pure tea + butterscotch foam and jelly. Delicious. Please come and create your own adventure.

Walking down King Street, I found Rabbit Rabbit by following a friend's strong recommendation, so I tried the buckwheat boba tea exactly as suggested--25% ice, 25% sweetness, brown boba. As soon as I took a sip, I realized that this buckwheat flavor isn't something you stumble upon at most bubble tea spots around here. It's nutty and subtle, not just another overly sweet dessert drink, and the sweetness level I chose felt just right. Rather than drowning out the boba, the tea balanced it in a way that made the brown boba pearls shine through with a gentle, comforting chewThe interior, while clearly intended to function as a quick-stop beverage joint, had more going for it than I expected. It's sleek and stylish without feeling sterile, and the small corner displaying Rabbit Rabbit-branded merch--totebags, sweaters, and the like--is a clever addition. It gives the place a personality beyond your typical boba chain, which usually just focuses on pumping out drinks as fast as possibleI left feeling satisfied, if not completely transformed. The subtlety of the buckwheat flavor was a welcome surprise, and this is definitely a spot I'd hit up again when I'm in need of a nuanced, well-crafted boba experience

Cute place near UH, super friendly workers, nice ambience. Kids rated this place a 10 star, they tried the strawberry milk and some of the fun animal pastries. I tried the strawberry matcha which was way out of my comfort zone, it was ok--I liked it but didn't love it. Also, straws kept breaking--had to grab a couple.

Came across this cute boba place in Mānoa and had to stop by. The menu has a variety of things but we ordered the matcha latte with brown sugar boba. It was the perfect amount of sweetness as you're able to customize it to your liking. Since it was our first time here the worker gave her suggestions and helped us out. I didn't catch her name but I would definitely come back and try other things.

Been wanting to try here and finally got a chance to after having dinner around the area one night. Got the winter melon tea latte with boba and egg pudding. Should've ordered less ice cause it seemed to have had a lot. The boba seemed to be a bit undercooked but the tea was good. There's seating in the place but it was pretty dead when we went. Service was ok.

I ordered a Crème Brûlée Milk Tea, and it was honestly just alright. I feel like the Crème Brûlée cap is what saved this drink or I would've never finished it. However, I did like their wide selection of teas/smoothies and find their prices to be on the cheaper side. Maybe I'd come back and give it another try!

On king street, Rabbit Rabbit is visible from the road. It is connected to a small parking lot, which can get crowded because it is shared with a few other establishments. The lot can also be pretty tight. The shop itself is not super large but it feels spacious and clean. The service is quick and there are various drinks and snacks for purchase. We ordered the thai tea and pink bunny cloud smoothie. Both were solid drinks in a cute cup. Hoping to come back and try the matcha next time!

Their tea and boba is amazing! Chewy and not too sweet. Got a tea that has some barley flavor, delicious! They also have wifi, which was the reason I headed there to do some work. The staff were also really kind. A large drink cost $6 something which was very reasonable. Check it out if you're in the area!

I saw this place on IG featuring their animal baos. I made sure to fit a visit into this place on my recent trip but to my sadness found out that they sold out of all of their cute animal buns with no idea of when they'd get more in. My drink tasted good but I give them 4 stars for hyping up their animal buns across their socials but not having any and having no idea when they get more in. I could have gotten a drink just as good elsewhere but Ubered over specifically for the buns. Also the parking lot is tiny and busy so if you're driving over, good luck!

***EXPERIENCE BASED ON ICE CREAM ONLY***I've dined in this area so many times that I've seen Rabbit Rabbit Tea (RRT) but never stepped foot inside as I thought they are just another boba and milk tea shop. But step in a foodie friend who swears the best Kona coffee ice cream, as Butterfly Ice Cream, after they closed its doors in Kaka'ako, is offered here. I've seen his posts on social media, so I just had to investigate.Located near the Mauka corner of S King St and University Ave with neighbors of Fukuya Deli, Bangkok Chef and La Ciccia, RRT currently has this one location as their Aiea store closed in Oct 2023. RRT hails from Taipei in 2108 and has over 20 locations in Taiwan. They have expanded overseas in Hong Kong, Japan, Shanghai, and the USA (California, Washington, New York, and Hawaii). They are known for innovative and bright colored drinks using 9 different tea bases. While waiting in line, my buddy and I also noticed their offerings of sweet, steamed buns with cute designs of onigiri, boba milk tea, apple, piggy, rabbit, penguin, blue sky and a kitty (?). Keep in mind that they are either sweet or plain. During my time there I witnessed some customers asking for char siu filling.I on the other hand, came for their ice cream. My buddy and I had just got through eating lunch from across the street and strategically saved some room for dessert. I got a double scoop of Kona Coffee ice cream and the seasonal flavor of Egg Nog in a cup. You also have the option of a waffle cone for $1 more. When we got there, you had a cashier and 2 counter staff. We both ordered double scoops in a cup and for some odd reason it took a long time (more than 5 mins) for us to get our ice cream. We watched the staff in action as they just stood by the ice cream section. ***crickets chirping***THE VERDICT:The ice cream was okay but nothing to write home about. I can think of better places to go for ice cream. As for my cup, I wish the staff would have placed the stronger flavor of Kona coffee on the bottom and the Egg Nog on top. By the time I reached to the Egg Nog, my mouth still had the strong coffee residual taste, and I could barely taste the Egg Nog flavor. We got there at 1pm and probably sat down for about 15mins. Indeed the store had good foot traffic of people coming in but noticed their dining section to the right was closed. The lights were all off and the chairs were stacked on the tables. It was dark and not welcoming.Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience as I had high expectations for the ice cream at RRT. On my next visit I'll pass on the ice cream and go for a drink instead.
