As far as in-house pharmacies are concerned, the POB pharmacy staff is a cut above other pharmacy locations. Unlike drug store locations they are more apt to have to deal with people in need of medical prescriptions. One of the Queen's physical therapy clinics are located here, as well as an imaging clinic. While not located in the main hospital, this pharmacy is very pleasant with kind and patient staff. It seems many visitors are senior citizens who require more attention and I have seen first hand how good they can be. The parking here at POB 3 is pretty easy to maneuver but the stalls are limited compared to POB 1 or 2. ( most people would say POB 2 has the toughest parking, I agree. So if you need to fill a prescription or have questions about your medication, or need shots, give POB3 a call if you are near Queens hospital, they are good.

My doctors's office had sent my prescription the day before. Staff from pharmacy called me afternoon that my prescription was ready. Next day, I went to Queens POB Building. Employee took my temperature and gave me a sticker label. My prescription was ready and it wasn't busy.

I actually come here because of the little lunch shop in the lobby. Of you want healthy and very tasty food, this is the place to cone to.The area has lots of chairs where you can sit and relax. Its very spotless clean. I need this person to cone to my house and clean. Just outside, there's tables with umbrellas so that you can have a great time chatting with friends or having lunch.

Fast and friendly service! So what if this pharmacy is only open M-F during typical work hours. That works for me!Recently after seeing my PCP, who also works in POB III, I filled my prescriptions downstairs in the "lobby" at the POB III Pharmacy. (I usually go to POB I Pharmacy if I'm at work, but I was off that day.) The staff was so friendly and fast. I waited at most 3 minutes while they filled my prescriptions. Since it was my first visit, I imagined it would have taken longer, but no. They were speedy, which was awesome bc the impatient bf was waiting with me. Haha. And out of the 3 POB pharmacies, this one seems to have the most seating and room for waiting patients. The only drawback I could see might be the lack of supplies and goods, other than meds, sold. I don't think I saw any other items for sale like at the other two POB shops that double as pseudo convenient stores. Doesn't really bother me bc all I really needed were my prescriptions, and they fulfilled that demand. Hah.Oh, and another thing! The one MAJOR thing I like about the Queen's POB III Pharmacy is that it's kept sparkling clean! Well, I'm not sure about "sparkling," but the place is always clean. And who doesn't like cleanliness?!! Hallelujah.Yelp 365 - #268/365
