"Are you YELPING us?" she asked."Maybe," I said with a slight smile. This was the exchange with the front desk receptionist as I was LEAVING the clinic AFTER my appointment.Pros:- Convenient location for west side Oahu residents- FREE Parking- My new PCP (primary care provider) practices out of here- Awesome NursesCons:- None to date (8/2018)I think what won me over to this facility that despite having to wait for an opening to come free (c'mon, most places will not have same day appointments but they will have a walk-in service), was that a nurse caught on that my condition that I was scheduled to be seen for was important enough to be seen sooner rather than later. Kudos to the staff for catching that! Mind you, I was already "shopping" for a PCP that could and would see me sooner. Let's face it, most front office staffers don't have the medical eyes to see if a condition(s) warrants a bump up the schedule or perhaps a talk with the provider to see if they would see you sooner. Secondly, I really wanted this particular physician and was pretty pleased that she was accepting new patients. My physician was thorough, friendly, efficient and quite easy to talk to. She ordered all the necessary tests and assured me that I was in good hands (but I already knew that). So far so good at this facility!

I recently moved back to Hawaii after 5 years abroad and needed to find a doctor right away as I'm pregnant. Dr. Johanna Javier and staff were very kind and welcoming and answered all my questions. Wait time was so fast! I had an appointment at 2:30 and left by 2:55! Definitely one of the fastest visits I've had in any doctors office. I highly recommend Dr. Javier as she's young, attentive, helpful, so personable and a local girl. I had such a good experience so five stars!:)

Dr. Mito is one of the best doctors I've ever seen because he takes the time to listen and addresses your concerns. The office staff is also very kind as has a great sense of humor.

My brother and I went here couple weeks ago. It seems like the front desk is not as friendly and welcoming. I'm sure some are quite nice and majority is not. I hope they worked on customer service with a friendly manner. Since it's our first time here, I'm not fully satisfied. I've talked to my brother "how was your first visit with the Dr.". He said everything went well, his very nice, takes time on him, and easy to get along. That's a plus! Thank You Dr.

I am surprised by the number of negative reviews of Queens Health Care Center Kapolei and wanted to share my positive experiences with both my Primary Care Physician and this facility!Dr. Darlene Ramones is my Primary Care Physician and she is terrific! Dr. Ramones is a younger Physician who is compassionate, kind, a good communicator and listener, and really seems to care about her patients. Outside of her Physician profession Dr. Ramones does a lot of charity and volunteer drives, and goes on international missions where she provides medical care for people in need. So I love the fact that Dr. Ramones does a lot of good will work because it speaks a lot about her character. The Queens Health Care Center Kapolei's front office staff have been friendly and accommodating, and so far very on top of handling insurance and paperwork. Sure, they may seem overworked and stressed sometimes but I find that if I smile, be friendly, and ask how their day is going, they treat me back with respect. I've had great experiences at Queens Health Care Center Kapolei and look forward to continue getting care from Dr. Ramones and staff.

The dr I was scheduled with was as arrogant as they came. Bedside manners? Does that exist? Clearly not with this "doctor". She was rude, spoke to me like I was beneath her, insulted my own family physician for the medications he had me own (TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL DOC..NOT). You could tell she really didn't care about anything even if you asked her questions. Then she'd play the concerned doc and ask if I had anymore questions. I left this clinic disappointed and angry and the female doctors lack of professionalism. Thanks for nothing, doc! I'll continue to see my other doctors and endure the traffic than deal with a rude and arrogant female doctor.

Dr. Javier has excellent bedside manners, truly cares for her patients, and is easily accessible/prompt to respond. She always includes her patients when creating a treatment plan/referrals while providing different options and approaches so patients can receive the best care and feel like they also have a voice and are in control of their health. I am grateful to have her as my PCP!

Do we have to even give one star? Ugh. Our problem is not the receptionists but the importance of the call backs ( when you truly need to speak to your doctor asap) at least on the same day! If he even calls back is shocking! A patient shouldn't have to be so grateful that your doctor finds your condition or concerns bad enough to actually call back. The doctor should take the time out of their day to actually call because it's hard enough just getting an appointment. Free parking is not good enough sometimes. You want the very best for your health and well being and sadly I don't feel like they even really care.
