An impulse buy but was so worth it. Was debating whether or not to buy a compact camera. I'm no professional photographer or anything but just wanted to get something to capture family pics and cute selfies. When I got there the staff were welcoming. I asked about the canon sx740 and just so happen they had 1 in stock, it's been sold out everywhere and the price was better than what they were selling for it online and at Best Buy & Walmart. I was teetering between other cameras but they were so awesome with educating me about differences to find what's the best fit for me. So I ended up buying it, since it was such a deal. They were easy to talk to, friendly and knowledgeable. Also love that their online site is an option to purchase and hold an item for pick up. But Will come again and definitely recommend it for anyone.

(I was a first time Hawaii visitor)The people working here are super chill and cool.I was looking for a Peak Design Sling camera bag as the one I ordered got delayed before my trip. I found this place after landing and came to check it out.The store is stocked with so much gear and accessories, and the people working here are very informative and friendly. When I got here, one associate was chatting with a customer and showing him different things, explaining the technical aspects in a clear and simple manner, similar to how I would do it if I was teaching someone new or unfamiliar with a topic.The other associate let me browse in peace until I approached him to ask if they carried the camera bag I was looking for. He grabbed it for me to look at and try on. He also recommended the Wandrd bag and brought some over as that was the one he used. He was transparent with the pricing, the usage, material, and his own opinion of the two (both the practical usage and design/look). He left me alone and gave me time/space to go through them and actually came back not to check on me, but to show me a post he saw about some bomb looking tacos like I was his friend.I felt really included and was very comfortable shopping and talking to the staff here. The experience felt very personable, and I enjoyed browsing their other products. Prices are standard market price and they carry a lot of items.The shop looks unassuming as it's tucked away in a random old looking plaza away from the main tourist area, but it's such a gem. If I lived in Hawaii, I would definitely be a regular here!

It's not often that a business deserves a 10/10 or full 5-star rating. I can count the ones I've given on one finger... but this place gets the second one ever from me. Tony and the crew here have the best customer service on the island. Always looking to make sure you get "the best" deal; and they're extremely responsive and helpful if you have questions or issues with any equipment you purchase. I used to buy exclusively online from the big camera and electronic places, but I will always see what is available here first. You can't beat local support for a product along with immediate availability--without the shipping costs... all while matching or beating the online prices! You can't go wrong giving them your patronage!My experience... I was on a wait list for 2 1/2 months for a newly released lens. I still had a couple of months more to wait from the manufacturer. I saw the PCH guys at the most recent PhotoCON and mentioned by dilemma. Tony was like, "Brah, we got that lens at my store right now. I will call them and have them hold it for you!" It made my month! Not only did I get that lens, but with their special rebate for the show, I picked up a couple more... I'm now loaded for bear!

Great little spot, but not the easiest to find. Great stock and very helpful staff!They set me up in no time with a new rig and gave me recommendations on a few things. Even see me up with a rebate. If you are looking for a local spot this is the one.

Small store with a fairly limited inventory but helpful and friendly if somewhat under-knowledgeable staff. On the one hand, they exist! Most camera stores do not anymore, and major props to them for finding a way to keep the business going. On the other hand, I'd love for the return of larger stores with real merchandise selections and expert staff.

Loved the selection and variety of Sony Cameras and the customer service and appreciated the kindness of the employees. Loved the variety of cameras such as the Fugifil x 100 and the Canon g7x! Overall, great place, great experience and even greater quality!

If you're going to walk into Pro Camera Hawaii, be prepared! You're gonna wanna get everything! They have so many items in so many categories that can help all photographers/videographers. Batteries, filters, bags and bags and bags, all the little things that can help you complete your kit.
