POP Fishing & Marine

Great service. I went in with zero knowledge of fishing poles and accessories. The staff were friendly and suggested a fishing pole for my 9 year old grandson. Also said they could put together all the accessories in a plastic case with dividers. They were very considerate and asked about my budget and his favorite color ( to use for the fishing line). I was at first intimidated, thinking I would spend hours looking for everything I needed because I didn't know what I needed. It was a fun and easy experience. Definitely recommend this store for everyone!

I've seen POP (Pacific Ocean Producers, founded in 1983) numerous times when dining at nearby Nico's and always wondered what was inside as the building looks so big and fancy, especially for being a fishing supply store. We had a few minutes to kill before breakfast at Nami Kaze across the way, so I decided to POP-in and check it out! THE PLACE:It wasn't as big and open as I had imagined, but the place was jam-packed with anything and everything that relates to fishing or boating. Lures, fishing poles, reels, coolers (including Yeti items), screws, nuts, bolts, do-hickeys and thing-a-ma-bobs. The layout reminded me of a NAPA store with a centralized service counter and cashier near the entrance. OVERALL:I'm not a boater or fisherman but if I was, I'd be in paradise here.

Got all the gear you need for Holo Holo I'm always in there looking for new things and restocking the tackle box! Mahalos POP.

7/18/20This is our first time here. Initially went to get cheesecake from Nico's and the Hubster was with me. He was like one of these days we gotta check this out! I'm like why wait? You're here now! Check it out now! So wdid!We are small time fishing-as-a-hobby enthusiasts, so we didn't need a whole lot of things. But my oh my! While went looking for items, I went around snapping photos...as my granddaughter would say, "Why do you take so many pictures? I'm like for my 4 Yelp follows of course!!" As you can see, from the photos, you don't have to be a marine person to appreciate some of the products! The waterproof spray I'm thinking ...could I waterproof my camping tent??If you are meaning to venture there by yourself, make sure you bring some dessert from Nico's... because you'll have a lot of explaining to do coming home with all those purchases!If you can't avoid bringing the wife/ gf, your diversion is that you wanted to take her to try Nico's Pier 38. Gals, it works both ways too, feel free to use Pops as a diversion tactic to enjoy the pier like atmosphere!

My go to place for solid diving masks and fishing gear. Don't know what I would do with out them.

It was my first time shopping here and the customer service is superb! I just wanted to thank Dino(sp?) and Sterling for making my first shopping experience here amazing. They went above and beyond for me and gave me pointers and advice on my first conventional reel and rod. Thank you guys again! Will definitely go back for my first grade lesson. You guys are awesome!

Larger selection of reels (Shimano, Daiwa, Penn, Okuma). Different brands/sizes of oama live bait well, decent price, not sure about quality as plastic joints looks like might come apart.

POP has a big selection of fishing gear and reasonable prices as well. A sales associate helped me find a reel and he was very friendly and helpful. This is now my favorite place to go for all my fishing supplies.

Had a good time checking out pop's! Wide variety of everything you need! "Dino" helped us with everything we needed to look at, he was very helpful and super knowledgeable with what we were looking at in the fishing section. He passed on some techniques and gave us some solid advice. He should definitely be focused in the fishing section if he has not yet. Cool guy and very helpful!

Hey folks we bought a boat bumper for 176.00 and took it home put it on our boat and with in 30 days it popped they refused to honor a 30 day guara**ntee they said they didn't know if we did something to it.This place e ic a ripe off and untrustworthy Waianae crew support in boycott Pop*
