My lunch mates and I ended up at the Pauahi Tower location after striking out at a place across the street. Hmmm, what to choose? It was the large bowl for me, with a combination of multi-grain rice and spring mix greens with spicy ahi, hamachi and ahi. My sauces were the wasabi aioli and the yuzu wasabi. My toppings were edamame, ocean salad and masago.Whoa, the bowl weighed almost two pounds! It was simply delicious and way too much food for lunch. I ended up taking half home for dinner. It used to be $12.95 but it's now $16.95. Even so, it remains a deal as it ended up being two meals for me.

It was on a whim that i decided to stop by and order lunch. I ordered a 2 choice with white rice, shoyu ahi and kalua pig. For my toppings I ordered cucumbers, crab salad and takuan. When I got back to my office and opened my container I noticed the cucumbers looked white like they were frozen. But to my surprise they were soggy. I think they were frozen and thawed out. I was very disappointed. The rice was also hard.I'm probably not gonna go back. It seems their quality of food has gone down.I didn't take any photos because I wasn't planning on writing this review.

I went here for the first time. It's always crowded, so I figured it was good. I ordered baby scallops. The guy seemed irritated and said we're out and they only have what's on the menu board. By the way, baby scallops were on the menu board. I then ordered calamari which was on the menu board. He said they were out. I ended up ordering hamachi with multigrain rice. The female employee then took care of the toppings. I ordered ogo. She said they were out. I ended up with ocean salad, tamago and spicy crab salad. My sauce choice was spicy mayo with garlic chips. Finally, I ordered the ume iced tea which I saw on the online menu. Of course, they didn't have it.Basically, 4 items I wanted were unavailable. They should update the menu board or have a sign indicating what's not available. The food was good and they gave a decent amount; however, the service was subpar. The employees were not friendly at all. With all the competition for people's lunch money, you would think they would strive harder to at least be courteous to patrons. Needless to say, I won't be going back here and will not recommend it to anyone.

Definitely a nice lunch spot. The portion size are big so I couldn't finish my bowl at one time. If you work downtown, make your way to Pokeway for lunch.

I don't usually come downtown but I stumbled across this place when I needed a quick bite before a meeting. Luckily, it wasn't busy when I got there. The poke bowl was so good! I love that you can customize it with the fish, sauce, and toppings. I got the ahi with sushi rice and it was so good! I also love the variety of toppings and the portion was just right for me (I got the smaller size). If I ever make it down this side again, I would definitely visit again!

I'm not sure if I was discriminated or they just didn't like me for some reason but they were giving me attitude for no reason and I feel like their attitudes affected my portion size today. As I was checking out and the lady was almost pressuring me to tip her on the tip menu and as I pressed none I believe she said something bad about me in her language to her coworker. KEEP IN MIND that this was my FIRST time here and last time as I was told by many people that this place gives you a packed bowl and as seen on yelp pictures you can see the bowls filled to the top. If this was based off discrimination I am honestly ashamed of this place that discrimination still exists.UPDATE: my cashiers name on my receipt is Vivid A if that's any help to anyone!

This has become one of my favorite places to grab a poke bowl in downtown Honolulu. Good quality ahi and salmon, love the flavor options and add-ons on top of sushi, plain or brown rice and/or greens. Friendly staff in this grab-and-go restaurant located at Bishop Square on the mall level of Pauahi Tower. There are a couple of tables if you want to dine in. Go get some!

Love this little poke spot. The protein is super fresh and a good amount of toppings/goodies to choice from. Owners are generous with their portions and the prices are very reasonable. No great for bring groups and the setting is casual, but great work/lunch and grab and go spot.

Tried their new location next to Square barrels in Bishop Square. It's still as good as I remember and affordable. The smallest sized bowl comes with one protein choice served over rice and/or salad, plus three toppings. I got their multigrain purple rice with romaine lettuce. For protein I chose ahi (which is cubed pieces vs "spicy ahi" which is tartare style). They mixed it with my sauce and then I chose tamago, beets, and masago for my toppings. The protein portion is a little small but on par with other build your own poke bowls that use the oz scoopers. Pokeway however is extremely generous with the toppings and rice/salad so it's more filling compared to other spots.I'd definitely come here a lot for lunch if I worked downtown.

This place would be 5 stars if they had good rice. The stuff and amount they put on the rice is good or fantastic. The rice sucks hardest rice I've eaten. lol maybe raw rice to match the raw fish lolOk, ok maybe it was close to closing time but still not an excuse for the rice... no rice no life.
