The best poke nachos(kamakazi). Very friendly local fam too. Other stuff is so good but I cannot resist the poke nachos.

I'm always pretty skeptical when people talk about poke nachos. One, I'm not really a fan of nachos so I'm already kind of turned off. Secondly, I just imagine a soggy mess of chips under some poke and at that point, I'm thinking why ruin a great thing (poke with rice). So I stopped by poke on the run one day to try these famous poke nachos with my expectations high because people said they're amazing and also kinda low because I didn't think I'd like them more than poke with rice. Anywayyy they were amazing. So you roll up to this kind of random street in Pearl City, which I happen to be kind of familiar with because I've been to the bon dance around the corner a few times. And you pass a liquor store and find this pretty unassuming restaurant where you order at the counter and then either take out or sit at one of the plenty of tables inside. The aunties behind the counter were really nice and when I ordered the half spicy half kamikaze mini nachos, they made me a small batch of the kamikaze because they had run out. So nice! There are quite a few other options on the menu. A lot of plate lunch options and poke bowls. They only have two flavors for poke: spicy or kamikaze. The kamikaze is a shoyu based sauce. So the poke nachos come out and it's a pretty big portion even though the container is one of those half sized ones. The chips aren't your basic tortilla chips. They're won ton chips and extra crispy and thick so they don't get soggy with all the delicious sauce that covers them. I usually like spicy ahi more than shoyu based flavors, but I thought the combo was perfect flavor and sauce wise. I felt like I got my money's worth for the price and the ahi was perfect. I'll be back for more poke nachos for sure. I'm a convert!

Came here with the girlfriend during our 5-day vacation in Oahu. So happy we got poke here (half½ was recommended)! Love this spot.Hands down the best poke I've had so far--although, that might not be saying much coming from me. So much flavor in every bite. Buttery soft, fresh fish. Ono to say the least! If we ever come back to Oahu in the future, we'll have to swing by again!

Mom and Pop restaurant. Love it. Always a good lunch run spot. You can get more than just poke, including pastele stew. The portions are pretty big, especially if you get the Poke Nachos. They usually use rubber bands to hold down the cover. When you walk in, the people treat you like family. They only have street parking and it's located in a slightly sketchy area by a car yard. If you go with a friend, just have them pick up the food and you wait in the car. Overall, great place to go for some Poke.

Best poke on the island! The kamikaze nachos are my favorite poke dish ever--the crispy chips paired with the kamikaze sauce is the best combo ever. We also tried the spicy ahi poke bowl and spicy ahi salad, and it was the best spicy ahi we've ever had. We'll definitely be coming back every time we visit Hawaii. The service was wonderful too. Even though it's a fast take-out spot, the staff is incredibly kind and made the experience even better. A must-try for poke lovers!

Wow, I've been here many times and I can't seem to find my old reviews. But anyway, Poke on da Run is a great place for your poke treat and they are very consistent. The staff is very patient and friendly. The setting is nice and cozy with a few tables to dine-in.My fav here is the 1/2 pound nacho poke(mini). I always take a scoop of spicy ahi and shoyu poke. The Poke is always fresh and refrigerated to the right temperature. The Laulau is real good and not dry. The Fried ahi is moist yet crunchy on the outside.I always stop here when I'm working in the area. A great place for poke.

Love coming here. Wish I lived closer to here because I'd come back multiple times a week. Can't say enough on how big the portion size is and how delicious how everything tastes. The service was amazing and giving me tips to try their sauce goes perfect with the pastele nachos. The food came out so quick and fast. Definitely will be coming back soon.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? The portions are humongous -- just how we like It :D we had Poke on da Run 3 years ago when Kevin and I first visited Oahu and this past Wednesday we made sure we stopped for some yummy poke on our way to our Auracle reading for some good vibes and not hungry vibes LOL. I love that his place is so homie, I feel like I'm just visiting an uncle or an aunties house. I portions are huge and the poke is very saucy which I LOVE! This time we tried the Mauka to Makai nachos which has the wonton nachos and the kalua pig and rice. The Kalua was sooo good! to me, the taste wasn't dry or salty which tend to happen with kalua. I even broke my Fucking fork digging In--- LOL anyways, the staff is always nice, and the place as I mentioned is very home-like very cozy. they have tables and chairs now whereas before when we first went during covid times were just take-outs. It's nice to see people come together and enjoy good food.

The poke nachos were ono (5 stars) However, the pastele stew (1.5 stars) was just OK. I've had this stew at the Pastele Shop, Jackie's Diner and Waimanalo Cafe, WAY more FLAVORFUL at these restaurants! PODR lacked any type of cilantro, garlic or onion flavors and was basically a pork stew with tomato paste/sauce and some olives. Be willing to try them again.

I'm not a raw fish person but my son for months been telling me to try it. It's pretty good & not fishy at all. All the sauce didn't make it tasted fishy which is a plus.
