Poke For The People

This is probably my favorite spot to grab poke of all the poke spots I tried during my trip. The seafood is as fresh as it can get and the toppings and sides make it a super flavorful meal.I got the 2 Choice Poke Rice Bowl ($17.25), which we choose Spicy Tuna (+$1) and Shoe Furikake Salmon. This came with a crab salad, which I loved. This also came with 2 sides and 2 toppings. Each spoonful was better than the next. Would highly recommend.

Still my favorite poke spot on the island. I like it that they offer an all salad option now. Can't go wrong with the location. There is a second location on the same street that opens at 9am. Unfortunately on the day we came, that location was closed so we went to the original location. Luckily they are not too far from each other. Parking in the back with mango tree is so iconic! Casual. Great service. Come and create your own experience.

Nothing beats a poke bowl on the North Shore and Poke For The People has fresh fish, great service, and even some local favorite dishes like garlic chicken, hamburger steak, and kalbi. Here's your poke bowl 4-1-1: 1) Pick between sushi rice or salad 2) Choose your poke- either 1 or split it and get 2 different pokes. 3) Pick your sides -- I suggest the sweet potato! 4) Pick your toppings like fried garlic, tempura flakes, and furikake. We enjoyed our poke bowl on their patio but this is the type of meal that is best enjoyed on the beach! My only regret? Only getting one bowl and sharing it! Next time, my boyfriend is getting his own bowl.

Food was delicious but small dining area. Would recommend coming early as we came towards the end of the day on a Sunday. Would definitely come back! Soooooo good! Non-poke food items were good too!

A friend highly recommended this place so we stopped by for a small taste of their poke. We got a small 1/4lb of their Limu Inamona Ahi and 1/2lb of their Shoyu Ahi. Both were incredibly fresh and had lots of flavor. I wish we had the appetite to try one of their poke bowls, but we will definitely be back in the future!

Well I went into this place looking for the poke. When I saw garlic chicken I couldn't resist. So I went with the hot and cold contrast and got a side of poke (7.95) service was awesome. Don't get intimidated by the line, it goes fast. Plenty of seating for everyone, very chill atmosphere as usual! Check this place out you won't be disappointed!

Yum!! This could be the best Poke I have ever eaten. Fresh, fresh and fresh!! The service is amazing and the choices are endless. This was a real treat! Yes...I even bought the t-shirt!This Poke is for all people!

Don't pass up this small poke shop! Stopped here for a late lunch and we're not disappointed at all! Since there was little room to eat indoors we chose the better option and had a great idea to head to eat nearby at a beach. My favorite poke selection was the marlin special of the day but their regular on the menu that was runner up had to be the Wasabi Masago Ahi. The salmon was sold out for the day so will have to go back to try as I see that is a very popular choice. I enjoyed the patience and customer service as there were so many new things on the menu I had no clue what they were.This not your typical food land stop for poke but it was a good thing. There are so many sides and add one that I would have never thought to add to a poke bowl but were highly complimentary and delicious. The employee was super nice and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back and highly recommend this place. I hope you enjoy this spot as much as we did.

Love love loved this poke place. So many options and such good choices. Came here after snorkeling in north shore and it was the right place to get poke. Shoyu furi salmon is fire! Originally we only got half a pound to share and then we went back and ordered another pound of it! There is a small parking lot in the back. It's pretty hidden but still love that parking was easy enough and ordering was super fast. It's a small shop inside with a few tables and chairs.

Finally got to try the new location, I work nearby in the food industry and love eating good food! I ordered two fried rice specials and two 1/2 pd of spicy shrimp and ahi. Coming out to $65, and leaving a $5 tip. I was excited to enjoy my later breakfast. Parking was free, new setup inside was , clean tables, condiments, and even though there was a line to the door the staff got my food out in under 15 minutes. The only thing is that as soon as me and my boyfriend started eating, we both found hair in our separate plates. Very disappointed because it was so good but I was disgusted to eat any more. Staff is gonna have to keep a better eye and sanitary awareness. Don't know if I'll be back to try again...
