I will never eat here. Valentine's Day 2025 7:30 pm. The stand was still open and there were just a few bowls left in the open top, refrigerated area. I thought I was lucky that there was something I wanted to eat as I was very hungry and craving raw fish... I was very wrong about being lucky. I took my bowl to a table and waited a few minutes while my other half got food from another restaurant. When he returned, I opened the cover to my bowl and was hit with a fishy smell. I thought maybe it was concentrated because it was in a covered bowl and the smell went away. I took one small bite. It tasted like something that would probably give me food poising. My husband took the bowl to try to get a refund as we were now doubtful about the freshness of the other remaining fish bowls that were leftover. The employee of the restaurant told my husband that she would not refund me just because I didn't like the taste. He told her that we think the food had gone bad, but she said she'd been selling it all day and there was nothing wrong with it. He started to get heated with her attitude and decided that the $11 wasn't worth the amount of trouble that would ensue if he kept trying to argue the point. The attached photo is how we tried to return the bowl. I literally only took a small sample bite. I could see refusing to return my money if a lot was eaten, but as you can see for yourself, it was mostly untouched. This was my second bad customer service experience this month. I tried to get a meal from here last week, but it was a little too early. I did not realize they weren't open as some of the other restaurants in the food court were serving people and there was a lady busily putting food out. I stood there, in front of the register, patiently waiting for her to take my order, but she just kept walking around and acting like I was invisible. I figured it out after some time, but it was inconsiderate that she couldn't be bothered to look up and say, "we're not open yet."Two bad experiences here in two weeks is enough to turn me off from patronizing this business.

First time here, located on the 2nd floor by the movie theater Pearlridge. Was walking around and decided to have lunch. The Fish is all fresh, daily delivery. If you're in shopping mall and want to eat some fresh fish, give this place a try. Aloha, Derek

I'll need to remember to double check that everything ordered is packed in the take out bag next time...But otherwise no complaints about the food, price and quality are satisfactory.

My husband and I are sushi lovers and upon printing our photos downstairs, we decided to get something quick to eat. What would unfold after would span a three day consecutive streak of buying food here. Located in downtown pearlridge food court (next to the movie theaters) it is a quick stop for lunch if you have sushi or fish cravings like I do. The food is absolutely delicious and its freshness speaks volumes. There is a full menu or you can buy the ready made grab and go bentos that they have available at the counter. This comes with Miso soup as well which is included with the purchase. It's the perfect lunch spot to enjoy food with a friend or with your family when you are spending time at the pearlridge mall.

Thought I'd go for it and try something different. Instant regret from the service to the food.Ordered one thing and wanted more but was cut off with a quick, "your total is..." and that's when my wallet closed to anything else.Service 2/5Food was not good. It was cooked, perhaps overcooked. Ahi katsu was firm with no seasoning or flavor.Portion size: 2 small cutlets, 1.5 scoops of rice, an ounce or so of seaweed.Food 2/5Ambiance: mall food court. Nothing fancy.

I wanted a salad for lunch and decided to try this place out. The menu is very similar to Ahi & Vegetable.I was greeted by a nice man who appeared to be the owner after speaking with him. I ordered the salmon/hamachi sashimi salad with a side of spicy ahi. The fish was fresh and I love their vinegarette dressing. The lettuce was fresh as well and not wilted at all. The food came out about 10 min later which was fine. There seemed to be just one person working in the back and they had many orders before me.This is only a take out window in the Pearlridge Makai Food Court. All of the tables for eating are in the center of the food court. The take out counter had a chiller with poke bowls and bentos ready for sale as well. The lighting for the restaurant is bright and the menus are clear. Although it is located in the food court, the noise level was fine. The food that I ordered was delish and fresh and I would definelty get it again.

When I used to work in town, I would always go to this place called Ahi & Vegetable on Fort Street Mall at least 2 or 3 times a week. I haven't worked in town for a few years so I really missed my favorite Spicy Ahi/Natto bowl. I was looking for a place to eat at the food court in Pearlridge Downtown located by the theaters and came across this place where the pictures of their food looked just like Ahi & Vegetable's so I ordered my favorite. The spicy ahi hardly had any seasoning so it was bland...had to add shoyu. I was hoping it would've tasted the same or close to Ahi & Vegetable's since Poke & Bento-Ya is located so close to where I live...disappointed that it didn't. Guess we'll be driving to Kozo Sushi in Pearl City to satisfy my Spicy Ahi/Natto cravings. As for the people working there...very nice!

It's really a hit or miss here... most times the food is just enough to satisfy a craving but it's not worth the price.. I had a ahi katsu, it was very dry and over cooked.. while other times my coworker said it was really good. When I get spicy salmon and spicy ahi.. the fish seems old so it's extra fishy and has a weird taste. But sometimes it's good. There isn't any consistency but hey, we can't expect much for a quick meal. They are located in downtown pearlridge food court by the movie theater. Service was pleasant, staff are nice.

The poke salad was good. However upon seeing the receipt, the price charged was higher than the price displayed. I'm sure she was aware and could have pointed it out. When I questioned this, she quickly pointed out a little sign to the right of the payment tablet about the prices maybe higher than shown as well as as a No refund sign. It seemed kinda an after you pay sneaky. I think that sign should be displayed below the main menu on the wall. It was quite disappointing.
