Their shelves are clearly labeled and all pre-finished wood is properly covered with a thin sheet of protective plywood. This place has the best customer service, the best selection of plywood and even hardwoods dimensional lumber of any where I have been. Connie and her entire staff are dedicated to provided quality products to all of their valued customers. This family owned business really shows that they care about their customers.

I started building some boxes for my son in the movie industry, and needed to follow very specific requirements. Strength and weight being prime considerations. Anyway, I'm a Home Depot kind of guy, and tried their ply, but it wasn't very good quality.The guys at Plywood Hawaii listened, then made good recommendations. Their birch ply was much better quality and didn't cost very much more. So far, the boxes are holding up very well.Really nice to see the small buyer given good service. I've been back a few times to resupply, and will keep doing so.

If I could, I'd give 4.5 stars because my first experience here was AWESOME -- but my second trip here wasn't too great. I've been EXTREMELY busy with summer school & I was in a time crunch to get some materials for my class (I'm building my first chair yay!). My friends recommended plywood Hawaii because of the great customer service and a better value. The warehouse is very easy to find (especially with GPS lol)- there is also a huge sign! You can park on the street or pull up in their drive way if you're picking up lumber/wood (it's the second opening if P.H. is on your right). Inside there is a door labeled "will call," which you go inside. I didn't call in advance - but for extra quick service that is an option. I waited in line for a short 5 minutes - made my order in 1 minute & paid - 5 minutes later I had my piece of plywood ready and pre-cut (they charge per cut). The person in charge seemed very busy, multi-tasking with phone calls and the dealing with the line - but he did a very good job & was extremely friendly. The other workers in the back who dealt with other matters were nice too, making conversation as the customers waited to be serviced. The next guy helping me load the wood in the car was also a nice fellow! He attempted to fit it inside, but there was no way that piece of plywood was gonna fit. The standard size is 4' X 8' and I even cut off 2' to make it a 6' and 2' piece - but the width was little more than 4'. He told me his name was Kea, that he'd be working the next day & that he'd put is aside so I could pick it up with a larger vehicle. 5 star service!_______________________________________________________________THE NEXT DAY!I came back with a larger car, but it still wouldn't fit! Almost! A couple inches too wide. Luckily my dad had racks on the top of his car, but we weren't fully prepared to use those and didn't have the right equipment to properly secure the wood. The guy just watched me grab my piece of wood - didn't offer to help - & when we asked if they had any type of rope of something to help strap it down he said no and walked away. Luckily a customer came and noticed we needed help. That kind guy gave us a free strap! I was so grateful. Hope he gets good karma!I don't want to let one employee ruin my overall experience there -- but that is all really takes. Just come fully prepared and you should be fine!

Chris and his team did a great job providing the product I needed today at a fair price. Their selection and knowledge is unsurpassed on the island.

We shop at Plywood Hawaii for most of our hardwood and plywood needs. We have found them to have a good selection and quality products. We love Tony, our sales rep and recommend him highly.

Yay, I am fan. I have yet to give them 5 stars only because I haven't shopped their yet. But I feel that once I do, they'll earn their five stars. I called there to research building a fence in my yard and was immediately pointed in the right direction (to another lumber supplier) and told what type of wood was needed. Awesome and knowledgeable service from PLYWOOD HAWAII. Looking forward to picking up materials from them in the future.. Mahalo!
