One of my favorite places to eat. The beauty of vegan places is that I can eat anything on the menu! The food here is fresh and brought out hot. I either have the fried green tomato sandwich (hot and crunchy) or the "chicken" salad. They have different drinks but I always get the lychee lemonade. Very refreshing. The portions are filling and the service is always friendly. What's not to love?

My friends picked up some burgers, fries, pastries, and drinks from here. It was my first time to try out the food here and it was amazing. The double burger was filling and didn't leave me feeling bloated at all. The fries were flavorful (I think it was the truffle fries). I had the lihing lemonade, which was refreshing. We also had the kougiman. I can't remember which one I ate, but I remember the flavor and it was delicious!I'm planning to go there soon for lunch and I can't wait!

Absolutely loved everything we ordered at Planted. Came with a group of 4 adults and 1 baby and we were able to comfortably sit inside. They brought our food to us since we were so close to the counter. Ordered a burger, the artichoke katsu sandwich, tendies & fries with their planted sauce, and the tomago sandwich. For dessert we got 3 butter mochi pastries. We could not believe this place was all plant based. Had to confirm with the lady in the front because everything including the pastries was so delicious! We took the pastries home to enjoy the rest later but other than that, not a crumb was left behind (hence the lack of pictures). The vegetarians/vegans and meat eaters in our group were all very happy with our meal.Parking kinda sucks but that's not the restaurant's fault.

The star of this little cafe is the staff and food, and cute little grouping of tables for eating inside or outside, or easy takeout. The lemonade options are a personal favorite, with lychee lemonade as my standard go to for that sweet-tart refreshing taste. Kougin, coffee, other pastries are a great option any time, and super fresh ingredients and bread for everything from salads, soups to ban mi, sandwiches and burgers. Particularly tasty is the fried green tomato sandwich, with crisp and crunchy fried tomatoes, perfectly toasted shokupan and fresh veggies, and jalapeño for a kick of heat. Orders made fresh and this particular sandwich is especially nice since I don't see it too often in Hawaii.Easy parking at Ward Village lot right next door, and a great option for a bite while grocery shopping at Whole Foods.

Refreshing drink in Honolulu, Hawaii...We were between lunch and dinner and noticed that we hadn't gone to Planted by La Tour Cafe... yet...Located at Ward Village, we found free shared parking and walked over.It happened to be Happy Hour where customers get a free canele with ppurchase of a large drink! Yippee! I got a Li hing Lemonade and a chocolate candle. Yay! It was just right! Now that I know where this cozy takeout place, I will be back! Support a local plant-based restaurant!

Truly the employees here are the nicest and most helpful I've come across in an eatery of any kind, if there's an opportunity to eat outside..take it.. there's no much foot traffic or traffic of cars, bikes etc

Loved this the first few times I ordered so it's usually my go to when ordering here. This day it tasted more like just bread added cheese costed a bit more for price.

Heard great things about this place, and also been supporting the La Tour storefront in Nimitz, thought I would give this place a try. The lemonades were consistent with lots of flavor throughout consumption. If you're feeling adventurous try the Chee Mui-Ade which comes with half lychee lemonade and half li hing mui lemonade. As for the food, between the 3 of us, we bought 1 of each sandwich to try, plus the grilled cheese and tendies with fries. Honestly, the best item were the fries. The breads were all on point, so I won't discredit them for that. But the fillings in each of the sandwiches needed work in a sense. I think it was a matter of texture overload for me. The grilled cheese consistency reminded me of play-doh. The falafel was dry. The fried green tomato was mushy. The artichoke katsu was stringy. And the chicken tenders had an interesting after taste that I couldn't shake. The ''Big Mac sauce" that came with the it was very thick and didn't want to come out of the container when the tenders were dipped into it. At least we were able to dine in together with an AC-filled environment with clean tables and chairs. The service was alright. The cashier/counter girl started off friendly. Then when phone orders and other patrons came through, the level of service started to fizzle out. Not horribly, just noticeable that it felt like she was in a stressful situation. Nevertheless, at least we gave it a try. Maybe the vegetarian/vegan life isn't quite for us. Though I commend them for being in a convenient location that's easily accessible with different parking garages nearby.

Everything I ordered was excellent!!! My husband loved the burger and the artichoke katsu. He did not complain about the vegetarian food at all. The broth dip was delicious! I also got the tendies for my granddaughter, and she loved it with the sauce. Service was quick. I ordered via phone and had a short wait when I got there. Cashier was very helpful and polite. Parking on the street was fine as it wasn't a busy street.I will definitely visit again! The vegetarian menu is creative and unique. I will return to try other things on the menu.
