I inquired with Allan about our daughter's 1st birthday after seeing his work on IG. I emailed Allan to inquire about his photography services and got a quick response with the different services he offers. I had already booked photobooth with our emcee package so I was looking more at his Photo/Video Event Service. Which I should of looked into his photobooth service because he had a better deal but definitely will look into booking more services for future events. I was in contact with Alan throughout the year for any questions and concerns I had. He's quick to respond and is available through text or email. I also added the slideshow services a few months before after a fallout of another vendor I was suppose to do it with. He was able to do it with no problems. I gave the slideshow pictures a little over a week before the party and he showed me a sample of it. It got me choked up on how beautifully it turned out with all the pictures and songs put together. We just had our daughter's birthday within the last week and had Allan photographing our event with the help of Makoto doing the video. They both were prompt and ready to service the event. At first I was suppose to have the VIP photo wall at the entrance so we could take pictures with our guests upon arrival but due to the winds outside it had to be moved it. It crowded the area a bit with couple vendors aside the photo area but Allan tried his best to make use of the wall and have us take pictures. We were all over the place so we didn't get to use it to the full potential but I know he capture all the important stuff during our event. Especially suggesting to take our family photo outside. He took some great captures of her smiling!Allan just sent me a link to the sneak peak photos and I'm excited to see more photos as he'll work on continuing to edit in the next few weeks. After all the running around during the day to set up for the party and the hectic night of welcoming people in, I didn't get a chance to take pictures myself so I'm glad I had them to capture the moments to relive on later. He provides great quality work and am definitely looking forward to looking at the video highlights as well. Thank you Allan and Makoto of Photo Ops Hawaii for servicing our daughter's 1st birthday!

Out of all people, my dental hygienist recommended PhotoOps Hawaii to me since she just got married. They had actually been one of the photo booth companies I had been following on Instagram but I was still deciding. She had nothing but good things to say about them so I checked out the prices and inquired. All communication with Allan was great. I gave him vectors that I used to make our invitations and after I showed him an example of what I kind of wanted he did a great job creating our layout. At the wedding, the staff was so nice to all of our guests. Our cocktail got moved from outside to inside in the foyer. They offered to start earlier so our guests could have some fun during the cocktail hour. We all loved the fun props and I'm super picky about lighting and the lighting on their booth is awesome.Lastly, they provide you with an online album to view and download all your photos which was great because I got distracted at the wedding of course and misplaced mine. My husband and I highly recommend PhotoOps Hawaii!! Affordable and great quality :)

Props to Allan and Photo Ops Hawaii for their awesome photo booth services for our wedding!When my wife and I were looking at which services we were looking to obtain for our wedding reception, we both agreed a photo booth was mandatory.Allan was professional and was a great help in getting our borders for our photo booth. He went out of his way and made really beautiful graphics for them. The photo booth was a great success and everyone commented on how fun it was.Prices are reasonable and there are many options you can get with your photo booth. We wanted an open air booth so it was more welcoming and I'm glad we made the right choice.All the photos from the photo booth occurred without a hiccup and the quality of the photos are top notch!

My son and daughter useds Photo Ops Hawaii for their wedding....they were great!The booth was clean, photos fun and printed out quickly. The guys monitoring the booth were almost un-noticeable...so I guess that was good...there but very much in the back ground.We provided our own "props'...which made it fun for everyone and you weren't using anyone else's props (nice and clean)...the kids had fun assembling their own masks and the like..even the adults were having a blast going in and out of the booth taking photos.Pictures clear...all in all it was great!Thanks Photo Ops Hawaii for providing such a great service and entertainment!Now we will be waiting for the pictures they are supposed to provide...

I am overdue with this review but I hired them for photography/videography in October of 2018. They were very friendly to work with. They are also quick and efficient. I loved how they edited our photos and how our video came out. They also did our slideshow which turned out awesome! Would recommend to anyone who needs a photographer/videographer. Thanks again to Allan & PhotoOps team for the awesome work you guys did! :)

My daughter hired Photo Ops to photo booth her wedding. Photo Ops was outstanding for 3 reasons. First, their photo booth had all the props and equipment needed for beautiful and well done photos. We chose a tropical backdrop of leaves print that made everyone's picture radiant. Secondly, they were professional and efficient in all ways. It wasn't easy to schlep all the equipment from a faraway parking structure to the beach site, and Allan was responsive and easy to plan with. Most importantly, Allan has a good staff person, Jarrett. He was a great representative of Photo Ops: patient with my elderly relatives, knowledgeable about his services, and enthusiastic about what he did. Much after the reception was over and all the vendors gone, I returned to find Jarrett on his way out. And that made all the difference!

I really don't know how to express my anger and frustration towards this company. As far as stars go... I wish I could give it a negative star. Let me tell you a bit of my background: I am a bride to be and my wedding is in February so I have 5 months left of planning. I started contacting vendors 7months ago. With that said I have booked Photo ops out 6 months ago in March of 2017. I said to myself: it's best to book it now because they say you should plan a year and a half ahead. Plus I understand that if I don't place a hold or down, someone may take my spot or date of which I need this company. On their site it says that you would get a discount if you book on certain dates. I did and, DID NOT receive a discount. So please pay attention to your transactions. Back in March his website did not state that "if they did not respond within 2 business days to return a call or email." Now it does. However because I have them about a week of putting a down. I gave them several calls. For 1.) I wanted to know the process of what's in store to start the wedding background and what I want on my photos to look as they are given to my guests. (Mind you... I wanted to start early because I don't have the luxury of Time, I quite busy with work and etc) 2.) I wanted to know why I did not get a discount 3.) I wanted to know the overall things that I may need as far as payment and so forth. All within the first 6 months I did not receive a call nor a phone call I regards to my transaction. Fast forward 6 months out: I got my wedding planner involved because I have NOT HEARD from them at all. My wedding planner had even sent them an email and she did not receive a call right away she had got ahold of them 3 days from sending the email. Then I call them and FINALLY they pick up and state that it's in process. They apologize that they did not get back to us BECAUSE ITS GRADUATION season. Ok but I said why would you get back to me Just NOW I made my payment 6 months ago!!!!! 6 months ago shouldn't be that busy to just get back a phone call or such to state that I received your payment and I will process your transaction. NOOOO I did not receive any Call back or anything what so ever. So as a consumer wouldn't you feel like "oh why haven't these people gotten back, I've paid all this money and no response at all, what if they didn't receive it" generally a consumer will feel worried!!! His UNPROFESSIONALISM continues and does not address my wedding planner accordingly even after she left a voice message with her name and so forth. He states that his consumers TRUSTS him even if they made a payment months ago and have not heard from him. I then tell him politely that, I no longer want to do business with his company because of the issues that I've already encountered. He says ok, I will refund you and cancel the calendar request for the booking I've made. I said that's fine but please return me and email stating that you have sent me a refund. He then just cancels the calendar request but not sends me an email.... and I was ok with that, but I had stated that if I don't receive my REFUND by tomorrow I will call you back to follow up. Normally with other stores and such I get my money back within a day or two BUT.... I did not receive it so I called back, he then says it will take two days. So I call him back and it was the same issue. He then states that it takes 3 business days to get my refund. Mind you... I say to him ok, but I'll be sure to follow up. 3 days after a long weekend he texts me and gives me his bank policy...it states that it take 5-10 business days!!!!!! It's quite questionable when the vendor does not know the policy himself and tells you 1-3 business days. He says that he is sending me these documents because it will be he doesn't want to give me a refund and the bank gives me a refund and it will be a double issue. Basically it is documented but he didn't wanna document our first conversation!!!!! I tell him ok I'll wait and if it doesn't come I'll go and get my refund from his office. I tell him a time of which I will come to pick it up, he states that " he will have his son" I really don't know the relevancy why he would state that and my reply was "that's fine I just want my refund back" A day later he states that he won't be there during the time that I will be picking up my money. Hence I already made an appointment!!!!! A few days later he calls my wedding planner stating " YOUR BRIDE IS A BRIDEZILLA AND SHE NEEDS TO CHILL" why does she need to come to my office to get her refund!!!!!! With that said enjoy PHOTO OPS and if you need a refund... well here's my experience!!!!!

I went with Photo Ops for my wedding because they were the cheapest with a good quality photo booth. At first, I was given really good service. However, since I think the company started getting busier, I had a hard time getting in touch with Allan. I didn't get confirmations of any changes that I made to the contract. I also didn't get a proof of my design until the day before my wedding. There were so many other things to take care of, I did not like having to continuously ask for my proof. Once the proof was sent, the changes that I wanted were done quickly. It was just very stressful waiting to get in contact with anyone. Next, I had the wrong photobooth at my wedding. I was supposed to have a black background and our name on the booth. Instead we had a white booth and no name. While the white booth was nice, it didn't look good with anyone with white hair...it washed them out. The attendants were not very professional. They were unwilling to help our guests and texting throughout the whole event. Some of my guests actually complained about them. Finally, it took a long time to get my pictures from the photobooth, I had to ask for them a month after the wedding. My friend got her pictures a week after her wedding. And they didn't give a DVD of the prints, it was online. Which is okay, I was just expecting a DVD. For the good things...the quality of their pictures are really good. The photobooth is clean. They have fun props. It was a lot of fun, there was always a line to use it. They were much cheaper than other photobooth companies. While I am noting many thing I was unhappy with, I did manage to speak with Allan after my wedding about the service that was received. We were able to work things out and at the end of the day, I was happy. Although I had these things happen, I still recommend this photobooth company to friends because of the price and quality of pictures.

We used Photo Ops Hawaii for our wedding. It was a big hit, and very affordable. The setup, operation, and teardown were seamless. The photos came out great, and immediately were printed and sent to people via text, so they can get a digital copy.

Had Allan and his team at my wedding, and I have only good things to say about Photo Ops Hawaii! They had the best prices compared to other photo booth companies in the area.The set up was really easy to use, and they were cool with us having our own props. I also opted for a plain white background, but they set up a white sequin backdrop which gave the photos a awesome texture effect.Allan was always responsive via email, and was always accommodating to my changes in service time and to the border design. I loved the end result!They were so nice to print out tons of copies when there were several people in the photo to ensure everyone received a print. A few weeks after my wedding, I emailed Allan about the online gallery and he quickly responded with the access code so that my guests can see and save digital copies of their photos from the website. Wish we lived in Hawaii because we would definitely hire them again for events!
