Meh. The vermicelli with BBQ pork and spring roll is overpriced AND there's a surprise 3% credit card surcharge (November 2024).The surcharge was not listed on the menu and we were not informed of this fee. Had I known, I would've paid in cash.

While we usually enjoy dining in, this time we opted for takeout--and we were not disappointed.One of the standout features of this restaurant is their willingness to accommodate XL Pho bowl orders for takeout. It's a small detail, but one that sets them apart from other Vietnamese spots in the area that don't offer this option.Our go-to order is always the brisket and meatballs. The brisket adds a unique texture and flavor that complements the meatballs perfectly, making it a refreshing change from the usual steak options. The ambiance is another highlight--Pho Mai Han has a comforting, homey vibe that makes dining in a real treat. Even with takeout, that sense of care comes through in every bite.Pho Mai Han remains our trusted spot for delicious, satisfying pho, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking authentic comfort food!

Pho Mai Han exceeded our expectations during a recent take-out experience. While we didn't dine in, the overall presentation and quality of our meal reflected the care and thoughtfulness they put into their food and service.First off, the take-out packaging was fantastic. Everything was neatly packed in a sturdy cardboard box, which not only kept the food intact but also felt more eco-friendly compared to the usual plastic. It's a small touch that left a big impression!As for the food, the portions were generous and satisfying--definitely great value for the price. The pho was packed with fresh ingredients, and the noodles were perfectly cooked, retaining just the right texture. While the broth could have been a bit more flavorful to match the vibrant toppings, it still hit the spot as a comforting meal. The spring rolls were a highlight, with a nice balance of crispiness and fresh, vibrant flavors.Even though it was a take-out order, the service stood out. The staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive to ensuring everything was packed well. The care they showed made me feel valued as a customer.The ambiance of the restaurant itself is worth mentioning. When I picked up the order, I noticed how clean and inviting the space was. I ordered lunch from here on Uber eats. Ordered their combo banh mi sandwich that comes with charsui, steamed pork and pickled carrots and daikon with cucumber and pate. Also ordered their beef stew and chicken yellow curry with rice. Food wasn't bad but it didn't wow me.

Late lunch/early dinner in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii...I kind of wanted a salad, but Pho Mai Han was right there at Westgate Center, where I had parked for Teapresso Bar. I thought: I should just eat vermicelli with BBQ pork and spring rolls... it's kind of like a salad with noodles and protein!There were several empty tables in the spacious restaurant because it was an off hour. I was able to choose my own seat, which had menus placed at every table. Service was efficient and polite. The woman worker even commented on my photo taking... LOL!The food was okay. Is there a thing such as over-marinated meat? Or should I say that the pork was very flavorful? The spring roll didn't seem fresh and crunchy. Hmm... maybe the frying oil should be changed? The veggies were fresh and crisp! Noodles were nice and chewy!I should return for the pho one day...

The Pho broth is very light and it's missing the beefy taste and the spices that are normally what makes a great broth.The service though is good.

Greeted & seated quickly. A few other patrons finishing up. Water served, orders taken. Food delivered in a timely manner. Tasty pho! Filling Banh Mi! Very pleased. Will def return for my pho fixes. Clean & tidy. Low volume noise.

Nice & attentive service. Food is good. They do have different pho bowl sizes. S/M/L. Some pho places only had one size bowls, so that's nice.

Mai and her staff is friendly and attentive. I always get the large combination pho. The broth is clear, rich and flavorful, simmered to perfection, just the way I like it. Whether you opt for the classic beef pho or the beef and tendon version, each bowl is served steaming hot, accompanied by fresh herbs, jalapeño, and bean sprouts. The noodles are perfectly cooked, providing that delightful chewiness that makes pho so comforting.

Our go to Pho restaurant in our neighborhood. Always great tasting and welcoming. Remodeling made it bright and clean.
