Craving satisfied! Before my hubby and I even started dating, we'd get pho with our friends alll the time! Lots of pho places came and went but Pho Five-O has stuck! This place is located at the Waimalu Shopping Center.Hubby and I have not had pho in a LOOONG time! We usually get cold vermicelli bowls because takeout pho is just not the same experience as dining in. We decided to just go and satisfy our craving and Pho Five-O is fairly close to our house. My usual order is beef ball with steak and my hubby is only gets beef ball. There are no options for sizes here, only LARGE and I must say, they give ALOT! It was enough for my hubby but, my daughter and I shared a bowl and still couldn't finish it. At ~$16 per bowl, that's a good deal in my opinion. The waitress made sure to check in on us and gave my daughter a bowl and fork which was nice of her. She was the only waitress and was also doing everything else like cashing people out, doing takeout orders, and answering the phone. It seemed she had lots of regular customers and was asking how they were doing and wishing everyone a happy new year.Overall, I'm so glad I was able to satisfy our pho craving at a Mom & Pop shop. We were so excited and hungry, I barely got any pictures. We'll definitely be back!

Pho-50 ReviewAfter a trip from the mainland, we decided to stop by Pho-50. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, which is my favorite Vietnamese dish. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations compared to the homemade version I've had from a neighbor. The broth lacked depth, and I had to add extra chili and seasoning to enhance the flavor. My mom had the beef vermicelli, and my spouse tried the meatball and steak pho. They both found their dishes decent but not particularly standout. The dining experience was average. We had to request water, and there wasn't a designated place to wash our hands. Additionally, they charge for takeout boxes, which felt a bit inconvenient.Overall, while the food was okay, the experience didn't leave a lasting impression. It might work in a pinch, but I'd likely explore other Vietnamese spots next time.

Owner was kind & food was delicious! My partner and I were walking around the shopping center and spontaneously decided to try out this place. The owner was instantly so kind, welcoming, and quick to take our order! I ordered the special plate and chose bbq beef and kalbi with it, and my partner ordered the vermicelli with bbq beef. Both dishes were delicious! The restaurant has a small dining area, but I enjoyed the atmosphere as it felt very homey. Would definitely visit again!

I mean who puts brocolli, head cabbage, and sliced carrots in pho? I always order tofu pho wherever I go, and this place was the worse! It wouldn't have been too bad if the broth was decent, but it was tasteless. I was the only customer there, and the waitress never came to check on me, nor cracked a smile. Worse $17 I ever spent. Maybe that's why I was the only customer there at lunchtime. Never again.

I come to this plaza often but always skipped over this restaurant, I don't know why. Ever since the pho place I normally go to closed, I've been searching for a new pho restaurant. My friend recommended this place to me so I decided to give it a try one day. I ordered the pho with eye round steak with extra veggies to-go. The workers are very nice, it seems like a family owned business. I'm not sure if this place is more of a to-go place but when I came in there were a few people waiting for their orders and no one dining in. The food here is good, especially for the price. I think their pricing is a lot lower than most places. My only grudge was that they don't give any sauce with the orders which I would've appreciated. All in all, a fair place to try.

I love this place! They always give you great size portions and it's always spot on authentic! Service is also great with a pretty smile. The ambiance is ok, much like a Diner. Not too large but comfortable. The only thing I can grumble about is my wife never leaves leftovers for me to try! Ugh! They also have delicious bahn mi sandwiches! Ya have to check this place out. And it's clean too! Pictures also provide the menu.

Came for a quick late lunch. Ordered the lemon grass chicken bánh mi ($12) It was very flavorful. Savory and the pickled veggies were a perfect crunch. Service is great, came here at 4:15pm and not too busy. Ambiance is relaxing and restaurant is clean.

Ordered a couple of lemon grass chicken sandwiches. Having to wait 15 minutes for the sandwiches, I noticed signs that this place charges for everything. Take out container, sauces, using a credit card. Also noticed a sign that stated no return/exchange for food/drink. Not very customer service oriented. If you like your sandwich with a soft chewy bun and lemon grass chicken without lemon grass flavor, this is the place for you.Won't be returning. Yum Yum Pho down the street is still by far the best for Vietnamese food.
