Pho 97 One

We had a really great dinner tonight!The Pho was tasty as we remember it from their previous location.The chicken Bahn mi was great too. The bread was hot, toasted, and soft. The fillings were generous too.We'll definitely return again soon.

We now have five Vietnamese restaurants in Kapolei. This one is now my favorite. Recently opened in Kapolei Commons in the former location of Youngs' Fish Market. It's big inside with lots of tables... everything is new. Service is fast and friendly. A great menu that was professionally produced. It was mid-afternoon so we just ordered Spring Rolls and Lemon Beef Salad. Both were excellent..! In fact, their Beef Salad is better than the Beef Salad I get at Thai restaurants. Will definitely be back... 5 stars easily. Oh, plenty of parking too.

One of my go to for Vietnamese food. Love the new place. It's cozy and the service is great. Really enjoy the new environment.

A pleasant surprise. I stopped by for lunch and had a wonderful meal with family. The service was great and they were really friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone that would like a nice quiet enjoyable meal for a decent price. Definitely try this place! 5 stars in my book!

Pho 97 One is my partner and I's favorite pho spot, and he's from Washington so he knows his pho. Conveniently located in the Waimalu Plaza, this hole in the wall is almost always busy and for good reason. You can never go wrong with their pho tai with rare steak. Each table has an assortment of sauces and chilis for you to use to your heart's, and stomach's, desire. Service is hit or miss on the friendliness scale but I've never had an overall bad experience.Pro tip: ask for the rare steak on the side so you can cook it in the broth yourself and determine how well-done you want to enjoy it!

This was our second time here. The first visit a few months ago left us satisfied with the food. This time, I noticed the portions were smaller. We went for dinner on a quiet afternoon. After standing at the entrance for a bit, someone seated us.We sat for about 5-8 minutes without getting menus or drinks. Then, another family of six came in and got menus and drinks right away, and their orders were taken immediately. Feeling disappointed, I pulled out my phone and opened Yelp. A server finally noticed and came to check on us. I'd rate the hospitality 5/10.After ordering, it took about 15-20 minutes for our food to arrive, even though the family that came in after us got theirs first. I'd rate the timeliness 6/10. When our food arrived, it was very good. The summer rolls were perfectly balanced, and the pho was delicious. I'd give the food quality 10/10, but the portion size 8/10.Overall, I'd rate this place 7.5/10. The food was great, but the service was lacking. I'm not sure why we waited so long to be helped. Servers walked past us multiple times. I asked if they accept reservations , they said they don't, so it might have just been a coincidence that no one came to attend us right away.I recommend this place for the food, but be aware of my experience. There was also a sign saying they might be moving soon. Anyway, I'd give this place a 7.5/10.

**New Location : Kapolei, HI**Pho 97 One recently opened here in Kapolei Commons (located across from Target and sharing the same lot as Bank of Hawaii) after not being able to renew their Waimalu Lease. Sad for the Waimalu area, but good for us West side residents. Compared to nearby pho places I think this is a good run for your money. The food quality, quantity, options, taste and customer service is superb!We went in for lunch and was greeted & seated right away. Ordered our meals, wait time wasn't bad (~15 minutes) and everything came out hot, fresh and ready to eat (hence the pictures of already eaten food lol). We had ice coffee, Thai tea, spring rolls, beef Stew, pork banh min & Kalbi + shrimp plate and everything was tasty.Also, right now for their grand opening they are offering 15% off until Feb. 28, 2025. So all of this yummy food came out to $53! (Excluding the tip). Our stomach and wallet was happy lol.Like I mentioned before it shares the lot with Bank of Hawaii, but is located in the far corner (taking the old Young's Fish Market spot). If you don't frequent the area it can easily be missed so I do hope you can find it after reading this review. I hope more people know about their relocation & if not, please tell a friend.
