PGA Tour Grill

(Dined 08/29/24 TH @ 12:00pm): Was I "fore" or against this golf-themed grill?I arrived early for my Alaska Airlines flight to Los Angeles, California in order to settle in, have less stress, and relax into my usual pre-flight drink and meal which I found at PGA Tour Grill. I'd passed by this place numerous times as I came and went specifically these last couple of years, and each time I kept saying I'd stop in one day. Well, that day finally happened. Since I've been traveling in and out of this Terminal 2 Gate E area quite a bit lately, I've decided to eventually try all of the dining options. The rest of the toppings seemed more like an afterthought. The pickle spear was crunchy but very small and thin. The spud sticks were really good, crispy, hot, and very flavorful that didn't require any dipping sauce. However, the airport offered onsite parking structures with rates that varied from FREE (less than 15 minutes) to $25.00/daily maximum. Minimal natural lighting came in through the nearby glass doors and windows while electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. The food was fine. The service did what they needed to do which worked for me. The pricing was elevated as expected of any airport eatery, and the beer prices were really priced well comparably-speaking. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... Usually we bypass this place on our way to the gate, but the game caught our attention so... fast beer and shots, why not. We sat at the bar and Chasilyn was both bartender and server for us. She's fantastic. Typical local girl with a bright and friendly personality. Besides the beer and shots, the fish tacos are fricken onos. Go for those. Mahalo Chasilyn and everyone else for starting our trip on a perfect note.

Solid good airport food. I sat at the bar the service was good I can't complain about anything here. The drinks were good not strong but not bad. I had the Caesar salad with grilled fish. It was good not fishy and the lettuce was crisp with fresh parmesan cheese. It came out fast. I really don't get the bad reviews. Yes it's an airport so prices are elevated. Definitely would come back again.

We came here to eat lunch before our flight home. We were seated immediately and the customer service was excellent. My husband had a burger and fries and I had a turkey sandwich. Our food was delicious.

Great waiter. Gluten free bun was available for burger. No dedicated fryer. Gluten free seltzers available as well.

We never got to try the food here, as we left before ordering. I have several food sensitivities, and as the server told us about the "philippino cooks in the back" he would "have to try and explain them to", we lost interest. We couldn't believe how the server acted, and that was not the first time he had confronted us in an ill manner. When we first sat down, he already had an attitude as we had asked the hostess a question before proceeding to dine here. Ambiance was great a first, but quickly lost the peaceful vibe after our discussion with the waiter. I would recommend not going here if you have food sensitivities/allergies. We found another place down the way that was more accommodating, and who also did not speak poorly of their cooking staff.

Was here early on a Sunday morning before a flight. Service was exceptional and friendly. Drinks were good but the food was ok for what you pay. It is the airport so it is what it is. I had the chicken sandwich and my wife the burger. They were ok.Not much else at the airport for drinks at 9am so we will probably be back

I typically try to steer away from airport food, since it's absurdly marked up. But, the sandwich was surprisingly good and crispy. Fries were crispy and hot off the press. Downside, it didn't seem like the server wanted us there. We entered & noticed they didn't close for another 1.5 hrs. She hesitated and just stated " no flat breads, sit where ever " and left.Felt like she was also rushing us to order (quickly).

1/10/23Zach and I were in need of a snack so we decided to take a chance with PGA Tour Grill. They have a 3 star average and airport food hasn't been great in my experience so I kept my expectations low. They were short staffed so it took some time for them to notice we were waiting and for them to seat us. When we get food at the airport, we're usually able to go sit at the bar fairly quickly, but the host made us wait 10 minutes even though there was space at the bar. We ordered a grilled chicken pesto flatbread; it sounded safe enough to get. The flatbread itself smelled alright, but there wasn't a lot of pesto. It was pretty sad looking overall. Taste-wise it was nothing special, but not so terrible.
