This is the best Peruvian food in the island, prove me wrong! We had the lomo saltado, tiraditos, ceviche, chaufa (fried rice), chicha morada (sweet corn drink), salchipapa (sausage/french fried) for the kiddos and all were stellar. Service was great, which is spot on with what you would expect from a mom and pop operation. It's rustic, umbrella shaded and worth the drive to the north shore with three little ones.

When my husband asked me where to eat for my birthday, all I could think of was Peruvian Corner! This was our third time to visit, and we've always loved their food. We really love Peruvian food because it is unique and something you will not find so easily on the island. We had a plan for what to order, but when we arrived, we noticed they added new dishes to the menu, and everything looked so appetizing and delicious. We decided on the Peruvian Chicken, which I believe is called Aji de Gallina. It came with a light, creamy, and delicious yellow sauce. We also tried the calamari ceviche, which was fresh, lightly breaded, and ono! I couldn't resist trying a Peruvian empanada, so we got the Wagyu beef empanada. It's unlike any other empanada I've had (but in a good way). The pastry is light, flaky, and puff-like, slightly oily but delicious. Auntie Fanny also taught us how to eat it with ceviche sauce, yummy! And to finish, we had their tres leches cake, which was light and creamy. Something we really enjoyed! For drinks, we got the Inca Kola (like a light cream soda) and the Chicha Morada, a must-try Peruvian purple corn drink that Auntie Fanny makes from scratch. Beyond their amazing food, what keeps us coming back is their kindness, authenticity, and warm aloha spirit. Quick Tip: They're now open Tuesday through Sunday at 67-456 Goodale Ave, Waialua, HI 96791 (behind the Smoking Boar and Coconut). We can't wait to go back. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try something unique and delicious!Mahalo nui loa Chef Miguel and Auntie Fanny!

We've been to Peruvian Corner several times now since November. At this point, Aunty Fanny and Uncle Miguel do not disappoint us when we come and with whatever they serve us. I don't know what I'm ordering and pretty much just pointing at the photos as I'm eating with my eyes first and it's just as advertised and delicious. All seafood is fresh and really good. The ceviche is a great appetizer. The menu has grown and makes us want to try it all! We ordered a chicken with rice in aji amarillo sauce almost looking like yellow curry but there's not even a hint of curry in it. Excellent new dish on the menu! Ask for more aji amarillo as it's a sweet but mildly spicy pepper sauce. The things I do know I ordered are tallarin saltado, chicha morada (a must buy drink) and inca cola. We always leave with a to go order because something about this food, their seasoning, and the smell of it makes us want it again. Also that chicha morada is too good to not stock up on.They are now regular at their Waialua location behind the Boar and the Coconut Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 730pm. All seating is outdoors. They will accept private parties as well. We will be back as they make us happy and our stomachs happy!

Food was excellent! We tried 2 different ceviches and both were excellent and the fried cassava with the dip complementing the lightly sweet almost bland cassava! I also ordered the grilled hamachi skewers that were perfectly seasoned with salad. They made a real flavorful pasta with tofu for my friend vegetarian friend. Did not meet the chef but his wife was so gracious and sweet! Will definitely take the drive to Waialua from town again!

Everything I've had here is so tasty! It's no surprise because Miguel was an executive chef in Argentina for 20 years! With Peruvian roots, a passion for good food, and years of striving for excellence, you must try their humble establishment on Oahu's countryside, Waialua. You'll enjoy anything you have here but today I encourage you to try their tasty health drink called chicha morada! It reminds us a lot of hibiscus but carries a mouthfeel all its own. Fanny makes it from scratch and it's very special. They make their sauces and desserts from scratch actually, so you've gotta lean into this fantasy made reality.Wild this place is empty. I mean they did just find this space to settle into after a couple years of finding their way. They would prop up tents, break them down, and do it again. And again. And again! Reminds me of what it takes to have a dream come true! One step at a time. I first met this family at a pop up event in Hale'iwa, then an event at a local elementary school and now at their very first establishment in Waialua. We used to have trouble tracking them down but now we know where the treasure gets to bubble and live! This family has only been here for two years but the aloha spirit is palpable! Let's continue to guide each other to this authentic Peruvian food made with aloha. I had trouble finding their hours so thought I'd share a few notes here. Open Monday - Friday 10:30am - 6pm Saturdays and Sundays, open from 3:30-7. Unless they're working an event! Check them out on instagram where they post where they will be if not in their said hours @peruviancornerhawaii

One of the best things we had on Oahu.We stopped next door to eat at Jenny's Shrimp and decided to get the Peruvian food when the woman working with her husband waved us over. I'm very glad we did. Turns out the lomo saltado was a perfect complement to Jenny's shrimp. For $20, it was a delicious departure from all the meals we'd been having all around the island.Service was friendly and quick. They don't accept credit cards, so I payed with venmo.

This food truck is a true gem! We had ceviche and calamari and both are sooooo good! The ceviche was so fresh and the sourness and saltiness was perfectly balanced. The calamari was crunchy, hot and tasty! If you're a tourist like me and my family, make sure to dine here. If you live in Hawaii, especially in or near North Shore, lucky you! Shout out to Fanny and Miguel, the proprietor and chef for the great food and service.

WOW. We will make the drive across the island for this spot. Food is unbelievably fresh and service is impeccable--so friendly and warm and truly caring. There is also a really nice high chair available, which is so convenient! Lots of seating is available (outside) both shaded and in the sun if you want to get your tan on. 10/10 recommend.
