Perfect Portraits Hawaii

My daughter's school chose Perfect Portraits Hawai'i as the official photographer for their senior portraits. They are conveniently located in town in the Varsity building close to UH. The Varsity building is on the same site of the old Varsity theaters. We scheduled her appointment on a day that I wasn't working, so I could help her with hair/make up styling. Perfect Portraits Hawai'i is located on the fifth floor of the varsity building. There is free parking in the building parking lot.We were warmly greeted on arrival, and they were currently photographing another student in her class. Nikki is the owner of the business and also one of the photographers. There were two photographers present that day. They have a private dressing room where you can change into different looks. You're scheduled for a 15 minute appointment, but I appreciated that they didn't rush us and we were there for 45 minutes. Nikky was very professional as was the other photographer and they took different looks including ones in natural light and with studio lighting. My daughter felt very comfortable working with them, and overall it was a wonderful experience! I am definitely considering coming back to have family portraits done.

My 5th grader had a bad hair day on picture day. I reached out to Perfect Portraits via email to reschedule and was impressed with their prompt/ instant reply. The owner Nikki invited us to her studio for a private makeup photo session. As soon as we arrived to the studio, we were brought to a changing room with a sitting table, chairs, combs and mirrors to get ready. Nikki was very kind and patient with my child and really took the time to get great shots. By the time she was done, Nikki brought us to her computer and showed us the pictures and even let my child choose which photo to use for her school picture. They were all so good, we didn't know which one to pick. Once we got home and ordered our pictures, they arrived very quickly. Their online ordering system is very user friendly. The website uses your child's individual serial number which enables you to view prior photos from years past. They not only take school portraits but do business, family and a variety of portraits too. I am always very appreciative of small businesses but especially those that go above and beyond to try and make things right. Thank you Nikki and Perfect Portraits!

Nikki the owner is very professional and really takes the time to get the best shot of your children possible. All my son's preschools except for 1 used Perfect Portraits Hawaii and I noticed the difference. I am in love with all the pictures she has taken of my sons. It is amazing how she can get little ones to pose. She is so talented & stands by her work. Recommend all schools go with Perfect Portraits Hawaii. The only local female owned school portrait business around. I plan to go there for all my kids graduation pictures. Thank you for capturing our Hawaii keiki so perfectly.. they grow up too fast.
