People's Open Market

There's about 5-6 vendors that come to this market. From what I bought previously, the products there are good quality and cheaper than supermarket prices. Parking is also plentiful so it's good to check out if your in the area

This is the best farmers market in the area. It's a legit farmers market with cheap prices. All local veggies and fruits, there is none of that fluff of selling prepared food or merchandise. The only thing is it is on Wednesday mornings, which can be hard to get to if you work. But I love it and try to get there when I can.

My child went there with a group for a field trip. The kids were given an opportunity to purchase stuff and he bought bananas. The experience was great, but the quality of the fruit was bad. It shouldn't have been sold, it was rotten. I feel like they took advantage of him being a 8 year old. The vender chose the fruit, the kids didn't. It makes me question the integrity of the venders. Integrity is important when purchasing food. Just be cautious who knows what methods they use to grow their produce.
