If you are a crafter, like take out or dine in meals or like to cook or have kids then you probably have come here if you live close by.We come to dine in at Sadie's for Korean food, occasionally go to Daiso, Ben Franklin and Don Quiote. Years ago we would frequent Chuck E Cheese with the kiddies. There are way more businesses here too like a PT place, salon, Dave's, sushi, Chinese and more. They have lots of parking on both levels but because there are favorites like Longs and now H Mart parking can be a challenge.

I've been meaning to do this review for sometime now, but was lost for words since I come here so early in the morning. This shopping Center has been here for many many years. Many stores and restaurants have come and gone, but there are a few that have made this shopping center their longtime home. Longs Drugs...,good old Longs. You can find just about anything and everything you need. Sales weekly and is advertised with tons of bargains. Ben Franklin Craft Store.... Again.... They have everything you need if you are into crafts. Tons of bargains and great customer service. Workers here know their crafts. Daiso... sort of new, but also brings lots to the shopping experience. Some days there is a line, but worth the wait. Don Quijote.... Yikes one more store with everything you need. From office supplies, gardening supplies, every oriental spice you can imagine, clothes, hard to find foods of every culture, fireworks for 4th of July & New Years, fresh fruits & vegetables, fresh meats and loads of liquor. McDonalds... I try not to go here because the line is going down the road. So must be good. Coffee Bean & Tealeaf... my favorite coffee place, plus they have a drive thru. That's the Bomb. Bowling Alley... the hub for many fans of bowling. They have their own secret society. There are many small owned businesses that also makeup this amazing one stop shopping center which I frequent a lot, but the one thing I am thankful for is that the private school busses are allowed to use the parking lot early in the morning as a pickup spot. There is lots of parking and room for the busses to lineup in a way that the children can feel safe to board their busses. Plus it's in a centralized location for many families. Just another reason why this shopping center is an amazing part of this community and the meeting point for everyone.

This shopping center has cool stores. From food places, arts and crafts and even a bowling alley! Lots of parking available. My favorite store here is Daiso. Everyone loves Daiso. This shopping center also has security that strolls around all the time.

I'm usually not in the Pearl City area, but when in the rare instance I am here, my last visit, I came to the Pearl City shopping center with a friend of mine. This little strip mall is pretty cool and has basically what you would need on a daily basis. While Walmart is nearby, you can get most of your daily needs and wants here at this area shopping center. The shopping mall is anchored by Don Quixote, among other merchants here. There's an ice cream shop and a Chinese restaurant too. There's a First Hawaiian Bank branch nearby, but I wasn't sure if it's connected with the shopping center. My most recent experience here was to assist a friend of mine in her shopping and errands while hanging out on a late Sunday afternoon & early evening in December 2020. We stopped at Dave's Ice Cream, Daiso, First Hawaiian Bank (ATM), and finally Don Quixote before heading back home. We were sad that Ben Franklin wasn't open at the time we were there, but that's how it was. We spent about 2 hours here for all shops and it was an interesting experience for sure. Pearl City shopping center had seen better days and looks more run down than anything. Leeward Bowl seems to still be an active bowling alley, but I'm not entirely sure. My bowling days are certainly behind me. I particularly enjoyed Dave's Ice cream, since obviously, it's ice cream. The overall experience here at the Pearl City shopping center was quaint and nice. It's the shopping "mall" that's in between Pearlridge shopping center and Pearl Highlands Shopping center. Sometimes, you'd miss it if you were driving past it. It's physical location is located at 850 Kamehameha Highway in the heart of Pearl City on Oahu. Many vendors here accept major credit cards, as well as cash. Since the year 2020 is COVID-19 pandemic time, face masks are required for sure and credit cards are usually preferred in most instances. For the most part though, coming here is a nice change of pace, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. I usually stick to east Oahu, but it was cool to get out of there and be in Pearl City since the virus hit Hawaii in early 2020. I can say that this shopping center has seen better days and could use a fresh face lift. The newer tenants like Daiso and Don Quixote does add some variety to the mix, but it's still like an average strip mall that definitely could use an upgrade. I would guess that Pearlridge and Pearl Highlands makes up for that in their own right, but it's like Pearl City Shopping Center is the black sheep of the family.I'm not sure if the First Hawaiian Bank location is connected to the shopping center, since the building seemed to be off to the side. As far as parking goes, there's a generous helping of parking here to meet your needs on the Daiso side and the Don Quixote side too. While I arrived by car on this last visit, a few bus routes come thru this side. Routes 40, 42, 51, 53, 88A, and Country Express "A" are the ones to look out for. While the Pearl City shopping center has things that the others in the area doesn't, you can find comfort knowing that you're supporting local businesses here. I believe there's more local shops here than in Pearlridge and Pearl Highlands. If you are in the area and need things for your daily life, consider coming over to the Pearl City shopping Center and patronize the shops here. When in doubt, ice cream from Dave's is always a good solution to a challenging day at the office. Come during off peak hours to secure the best parking spots. 3.5 stars for the overall experience and the need for the upgrade and face lift. It doesn't seem to age gracefully nowadays.Support local!C

This shopping area is conveniently located right by the main highway (Kam hwy) or as I like to call it traffic mess hwy due to all recent rail work that has been going on in the past months. Beware when hoolaulea and waimano home roads get plugged up due to traffic and road work. Go to the shopping center early in the morning or evening time so you can avoid the stop and go traffic. Enough about my rant with west traffic.Don quixote, longs, foodland, the major banks American savings, first hawaiian bank, bank of hawaii, japanese store sanki, chucky cheese, ben franklin, coffee bean and tea, and there is zippy's right across the center. There is a small take out food court right next to don quixote with yummy's and soon's drive in as well as filipino and chinese food establishments. you even have the bowling alley which has crowds of cars parked right next to don quixote and dentist office late at night. The major bus lines are right near the shopping center. Buses 71 and 53 stop right next or across from the center. I recommend that the owner or owners of the shopping center make driving into the shopping center more safer. The some of the car entrances are too narrow for 2 vehicles going the opposite directions to fit through without banging into the other. It's a driving hazard to the public and delivery truck drivers.

An older shipping center but a great one that brings back memories of my childhood. There's Long's Drug, American Savings, Chuck E Cheese, House of Dragon, Dave's Ice Cream, Foodland, Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, Don Quijote, Pizza Hut, Ba-Le, Pearl City Key Shop, Easy Nails, Ben Franklin, Leeward Bowl (one of the few remaining bowling alleys on the island), Chevron, McDonald's and other businesses.Don't know if there's anyone that can remember walking from the bottom section where Ben Franklin is located now and coming out on a ramp by Don Quijote. I use to take that route instead of climbing the stairs..lol I think out was a delivery road.Anyway, this is a great place to shop, bank and eat. What other shopping center had three banks, two supermarkets, multiple dining places, a bowling alley and a gas station? None that I can think of..that's why I love this shipping center.

This place is close by the Pearl Highlands Shopping Center. Some of the stores I noticed here are Don Quijote, CVS, Daiso, and some others. There is also Leeward Bowl if you like to go bowling. The parking lot is large as it is divided into two parts, one facing Don Quijote and Leeward Bowl and the other is facing Kam Highway. This is convenient for the residents nearby.

My dentist is Dr. Okihiro in the Pearl City Shopping Center. I always enjoy my visits because of the excellent service from Dr. Okihiro and his assistant Chris. The location is easily accessible with lots of available parking and Longs Drug Store is right next door. A McDonald's restaurant is located upstairs next to a large grocery store with many food choices for a convenient shopping trip before heading back home.
