Paws for Portraits

Ashley is an amazing photographer, dog-mom, overcomer, and light in the world and I hope you, your family, and especially your pups get to meet and work with her. I've only had two interactions, one photoshoot, with her and I am so jealous of the next state that she gets to call home. Hawaii is going to be missing a wonderful family and absolutely extraordinary pet photographer.So you may know her for her beach and outdoor photos, but when I scheduled our session I asked for something very opposite. My husband is not much a photo taker since his whole life was recorded on camera and I really wanted to document nice family photos of our staycation. Also Komori (the real important one) is not an beach or outdoorsy pup unless he's at a dog park so I asked Ashley how she felt about shooting at a hotel we were staying at. I was so glad she was up and ready for the different environment.She's fun and professional and knows her way around bonding with pups that allows her to get the shot that everyone wants. Big eyes, silly tongue, double cheek kisses, everything you could ask for and more. I am truly grateful for her the and in awe at the effort that she puts into capturing every families important memories. The investment is so worth it over and over again.

Ashley is great! I work for an animal shelter and she graciously volunteered to take photos for our annual gala. She was fast to respond to emails, took great photos, and got them back to me in a timely manner! At our gala there were over 500 people and usually... that would overwhelm someone, but not Ashley! She was professional throughout the event, she showed up, checked in, and then did her thing! Didn't need any direction... on top of all that... that she's one of the sweetest people I know, literally always has a smile on her face.

I booked Ashley to take photos of my pup Finley at sunrise, and she did amazing!!! Our first attempt got rained out (obviously not her fault) but she still hung out with Finley and let him sniff around her car. Our second attempt went flawlessly! Ashley came prepared with everything (leashes, treats, toys) and took so many different styles of photos! We walked all around the beach to find new spots, she guided me through how to help get Finley posed how she needed and she never forced him to do a pose he didn't want to do (nor did she make me take the leash off when I wasn't comfortable doing so). Ashley was so patient with Finley's crazy, impatient energy and we had the best time!! The photos turned out incredible and we already can't wait to book another session in the future!

Ashley is fantastic! She is so easy to work with and was open to any ideas, and came with many of her own to capture my dog. When the shoot was complete, Ashley got my photos to me super fast, and they turned out amazing! I really love her passion and commitment to supporting the dog community in Honolulu. Five stars all the way!
