I was avoiding the marathon in Waikiki and came out this way to workout at the UFC gym. As usual, I like to take a long walk after my workout and searching for a park, Patsy came up. I didn't realize how big she is! LOL! It looks like a great park with facilities for all kinds of sport activities. What I really like is the walking pathways throughout the whole area, so I got a really good walk in.Some of the people were friendly, like the family with their golden lab who let me pet him. I'm so dog deprived when I come out here. Some of the people I walked by either said "good morning" or just ignored me, which is okay, but it was such a beautiful day why not say hello. I would definitely stop here if I was in the area. There are some picnic tables as well and it is very peaceful in certain areas.Mahalo Patsy!

There isn't a better way to celebrate Women's History Month following a YEE from Women-owned and operated Blondie's Vegan Kitchen Hawaii - Food Truck.Well this grand park which was renamed after our first Asian-American congresswoman Patsy Mink in 2007 and I can't think of any other park that would fit this incredible woman after enduring countless discrimination moved on to support Title IX, which was renamed the Patsy T. Mink Equal Opportunity in Education Act after her passing. She fought for gender and racial equality, affordable childcare...amazing!!This massive park is a spectacular hidden sports complex, from the outside you'll never know what's here until you drive in for a closer look. Just look at the park layout picture because unless you've been here before you'll never know which direction to go lol! - 4 Baseball fields- 4 Softball fields- 4 Youth baseball fields- 5 Fields- 20 Tennis courts- Aquatics complex- 4 PlaygroundsNot pictured are picnic tables that are randomly placed near the tennis courts area and what I think I saw from a distance is a containment to place your used charcoals, and I read that a dog park is the newest addition. This park you certainly can keep your six feet distance and be an introvert to escape adulting which is what exactly what I did. A public park that welcomes all to participate in every activity of your choice, yes Patsy T Mink Central Oahu Regional Park is one to be proud of!Thank you!

This is a nice dog park, it's one of the newer ones. It's large, the fields are filled with grass. It's gated with a security extra gate. They offer a water fountain, and doggy bags. It's separated from large to smaller dogs. And the people that go with her dogs are super friendly. We go to the smaller side, and those dogs seem to be all well behaved and it's a safe environment. I still would be cautious because dogs are dogs. I keep a good eye on my jax. And if there is a dog that's has a little attitude, aggressive nature we just leave. That's only happened once.My Jax's Vet is going to this park, the only thing that it doesn't have a shade. So on those hot days bring your umbrella and your chairs.

This happens to be one of our favorite parks on the island. Luckily for us, it's right down the street. The sheer size of this park is amazing. I believe it's almost 270 acres. The Central Oahu Regional Park complex currently includes a 20-court tennis center, which opened in 2003; the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center, four youth baseball diamonds, four regulation size baseball diamonds, a four diamond softball complex, as well as other multipurpose fields, and a 20-lane archery range. It's definitely a safe and diverse place to bring your family. Whether you're playing a dedicated sport or just want to stroll down the walk/bike paths, you can find satisfaction. There is plenty of parking and plenty of space.

The park is beautiful, since the park opened its new parking lot it's is more spacious now. The new parking lot not features inconsiderate parents that allow their children to play baseball and soccer in the new parking lot. My car was nearly hit with a rogue baseball. The park has massive selection of fields plenty to use for children to ply and practice, it is unfortunate that we have adults that teach their children to play in a place where others property can be damaged.

This park is HUGE! So much space to do a wide variety of things. From picnics, to play grounds, to open fields, and even BBQ spots. There is so much you can do here. The park has a lot of parking and there are multiple parts of the park.I usually come here to jog as there is a trail that goes around the entire park. I have ran here a few times. It's a well maintained park, there are usually a lot of little leagues that practice and have their games here. There are a couple of playgrounds as well for the little ones to play on.Everyone is also friendly here, when walking past or jogging past others they usually smile or say hello. Its also a perfect place to have a sit down and take in nature. Endless of activities you could do at this park. They do have restrooms as well. There are some maintenance happening in some parts of the park but it does not interfere with the whole park. There is also a shopping center right across so you can gram some snacks and head down to the park.
