Have you ever dreamt of getting beautiful leis like the ones in Chinatown... but with tons of free parking? I stumbled upon this gem today and it is my new favorite place to get leis. The flowers are top quality, of intricate patterns, fresh, and elegant enough for all occasions. The lei I purchased today was for a friend speaking at a conference. The lei is nicer and less expensive than what I could get at Costco and was placed in a nice protective clamshell container after I selected it. Their leis would be great for weddings, graduations, conferences, birthdays, visiting family, and any other special occasion. They have Hakus, kukui nut leis, ti leaf, orchids, Maile style, cigar style, butterfly style, feather style, spiral style, roses, a style at every price point.There is a very large free parking lot outside customers may park in. Inside is clean with friendly staff who asked what my needs were and then showed me many beautiful options with instructions on how to care for it. They do take credit cards for payment. I highly recommend this place and can't think of anything that could be better about it. I will stop buying leis from Costco/longs/safeway/foodland and start getting them all from here from now on. I found Paradise Leis on Yelp last minute. I was on my way to the UH Manoa commencement and I was already in the McCully area. This was on the way to UH. They are located in the same complex as Fujiyama Texas on King Street. The parking lot was full when I got there so I double parked and had someone wait in the car while I ran inside to buy a couple of leis. I was greeted by the staff, young lady. She was super helpful, and it took me a while to decided what I wanted. I just knew I didn't want anything too green because it would blend in with the green graduation gown and nothing dyed because it looks fake. The selection in the fridge was small but I was told they had more and once I decided which colors I wanted and fragrant/ non-fragrant, they brought out more leis for me to choose. They were super helpful and gave me a lot of options and I knew I took a long time to pick my leis. Besides having leis, they also have haku (lei po'o). Their prices are reasonable compared to the lei shops in Chinatown. If you're on a budget, they have some lower priced leis or day-old leis that you can purchase. If you want something fancy, they have the really nice leis too. I would come back again to buy leis because of the excellent service I received.

Great Leis. Great prices! And the owners are super helpful and just the nicest!! Don't forget to get your coffee and snacks next door.

Stopped by again to pick up two haku leis, a crown flower lei, and orchid lei. They really made my friends birthday celebration special. With graduation season approaching, I will have to make another stop. Since there is such a wide variety of flowers that go into making their leis, it will make each celebration unique and memorable. Parking is easy and all leis are beautifully displayed so it's easy to pick your favorite ones.

There's a great selection of leis at very reasonable prices. The person who helped me was very attentive and helpful. He wanted to be sure that I purchased the freshest leis possible. It's in a strip mall with lots of parking. It's so much easier to shop here than to try to find parking in Chinatown and the prices might be better. I will definitely return when I need leis in the future.

Great prices, selection and service. They supply a lot of the retail places you could go to and spend more for one that is not as fresh...just sayin.
