Rented two ponies for my son's 4th birthday in the country and couldn't have stumbled upon a better place!!!! The handlers called the morning of on their way over to our beach house to reconfirm everything, although Sandra had called weeks earlier to go over our booking and let me know she received my deposit, very important when you are sending a check by mail! The booking process was simple, let Sandra know we needed two ponies for two hours and we wanted the paint option. She sent me a detailed contract via email with instructions for a deposit and then printed, signed and returned the contract and check to her. Upon arrival, I spoke with the handlers of the ponies and I could tell that they work with children often and are experts at parties. They asked me to get my birthday child for the first pony ride and my son was thrilled!!! They were fun, funny, and extremely patient and kind with the kids and made sure everyone had ample ride time and stayed the entire duration. The last part for painting they explained to me that they would have one pony for painting and one so children could continue riding. They allowed 8 children at a time to paint the pony and gave the children paint brushes and neon colored paint. The pony seemed to like the attention and everyone thoroughly enjoyed Paniolo Ponies. If you want ponies at your party, this is the vendor to use! They are friendly, fun, and considerate of the animals and children!!!

When I was planning an unicorn themed party for my daughter's second birthday I knew I wanted to hire ponies "dressed up" as unicorns and I found this company. I was a little afraid of the negative reviews, but they were the only option so I closed the deal and made a deposit. I couldn't be happier! Sandra was very easy to talk to while planning the party and she was a delight on the day of the party as well! She was great with the kids, arrived on time, and everyone had a blast! You can tell she really cares for the animals and she had a hard time taking care of them during the pandemic, so I was happy to support her business, and I'll definitely hire her again for a petting zoo or something like that.

I never do reviews but this guys needs to be recognized ..My daughter had her 6th birthday party here in Oahu. And coming from a cold place I wanted to do something different. I thought about doing a petting zoo. Came across with this folks just when you look at google/yelp. they had bad reviews that's why I was hesitant. Couldn't look for any other option then I gave it a shot. the website was not really helpful onto contacting them but I did email them and then Sandy responded with in 24hrs. She gave me all the information I needed. the prizes are reasonable. I got the large petting zoo and added a pony (just for petting) but they have a lot of things you could choose from.. Originally I just wanted the pony but ended up with the petting zoo. At the day of the party. It was raining hard and windy.. but I didnt cancel the outdoor party. Joe was the person in charge at the day of the party and the guy was ready with his tent and everything.. he showed up 30mins early given they're coming from kaneohe and we are at waipahu. All my guests enjoyed it! I personally enjoyed it. no animal was harmed! very educational! andthey are all so cute! now recommending them to all my friends! they are worth it!

We visited their tent at the Pumpkin Festival in Kapolei. The attendant for the petting zoo told us that ticket cost was $5 for 1 kid plus an accompanying adult. There was a misunderstanding, and he charged $15 for our party of 2 toddlers and 2 accompanying adults, which should have been $10. He was not open to the idea that that was the incorrect price, and when we requested that we scrap the transaction so that we could restart and clear up the misunderstanding, he said, "Are you kidding me? That's too much!" I ended up going to an attendant at the pony ride tent for help. I said, "Excuse me, he overcharged us for the petting zoo," and the attendant--apparently the boss-- responded, "I'm not going to fire him! It was only $5, right?" Whoa, that's one heck of an assumption. I explained that I did not want him fired, I only wanted the extra $5 back. He said, "Oh, okay. You should have just asked him. " Thanks. Tried that, actually. The boss then shouted to him to give us $5 back, and turned back to his tent. While waiting for the reimbursement, I witnessed a couple other miscommunications and rocky transactions. End of the day, there was just a complete lack of customer service and professionalism. I'm not a Karen-type normally, but cheese and crackers this business needs to get its act together.

I cannot begin to explain the lack of professionalism of the owner and his staff. They made a wrong transaction and refused to return the money that they owed me. They were extremely rude and difficult to work with. Definitely won't be a returning customer. Please, for your sake, do not work with this company.

I would give 0 stars but that's not an option....anywho, I have a 6 yr old daughter who is OBSESSED with horses so she was really excited when she saw these guys set up at the Farm Fair at Kualoa today. Sadly we were very disappointed with our experience. My daughter was told she could not ride the big horse because she "didn't look heavy enough" First off, I was very upset that my daughter was embarrassed in front of the crowd because of the way she looks or "didnt look". Second, if you're going to have a weight limit or requirement & judge by the way people look, why don't you have a scale so you can be sure?! One person said she didn't look heavy enough & another told me she was definitely big enough to ride the bigger horse. Absolutely confusing & frustrating! I hope you folks can look into this & solve this problem to prevent future disappointed customers.
