Panda's Thai Food Truck

Is this place even open anymore? We drove by and the truck is gone. We had it as recently as Dec 2022 and loved it.

We first ate at Panda's Thai truck in 2018- our first visit to Hawaii. While I don't remember the specifics of that trip, the food was memorable as we kept trying to figure out the name and location during our recent trip in 2023Thankfully the sunshine/surfing gods were on our side and we found Panda's Thai again. This has to be the North Shore's best kept secret. I have been to Thailand and Pandas food was authentic. We had to wait about 40 minutes for the food (we were told ahead of time about the wait) and it was worth it. Service was friendly and we got to eat dinner with a couple pigs and chickens hanging out. Pandas Thai is located just across the beach so perfect opportunity for a lunch or an early dinner with ocean views. Will absolutely be back here when we visit Oahu again.

The service was great The food on the saltier side but maybe it's just me. I still love the Tom yum soup

I LOVE Panda!Her passion for community and good food stands out! She is always present and cooks the food herself. Her green and yellow curry are delicious!It's the way I feel and am treated by Panda and her employees that makes the food so special for me! ALOHA!!!!North Shore..... Delicious Thai food. I ordered the Yellow curry and it was delicious. We also had some Thai tea with coconut milk and a fried rice and a noodle dish. It was all incredible. There are places to sit, the staff was very great, and they had utensils. It's a pretty neat little truck off the side of the road with minimal parking. Highly recommend if you like Thai food.

We came here after a long day of beaching and it hit the spot we were able to pick it up and take it to sunset beach and watch the sunset. We got the chicken pad Thai and the panang curry. Both were delicious but man they panang was amazing! Had the perfect flavoring and just a little spice we would definitely come back here!

Got the Pad Thai with tofu and added shrimp. Very good. My husband got the yellow curry he loved it. We went right at 6:30 on a Thursday night. Had to wait about 30 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it! Would go agin before trip is over. I think you can order online or call in order if you don't want to wait. They have a nice outdoor eating area with a cover of eating their.

Man, this truck makes some GREAT food!Have been wanting to try it for a bit and it didn't disappoint. Got some green veggie curry and the woman working was super sweet to give me a bag with handles and package it all up so I could ride my bike into the night without a backpack full o curry. When I got home, I found a container full of curry packed with mad veggies. The brown rice was super fluffy and some of the best rice I have ever had.In combination, the tastiest meal ever was had and I am pumped to try more things on the menu.

Best things:- Thai iced tea with coconut milk- marble tempura (fried taro)^ worth stopping be even just for a snack for the fried taro dishThe noodle dishes we had were decent but not amazing - drunken noodles and pad Thai (had both with tofu)

While staying on the north shore, we found that there aren't many options for late night food. Panda's was one of the only restaurants open. After a quick walk and a 30 min wait after ordering, we got our food and it was incredibly delicious and satisfying. We got the Pad Kee Mao and the Panang Curry with white rice, all ordered from the separate vegan menu. How easy! Both dishes were some of the most flavorful thai food we had ever tried, and were ecstatic to have such a delicious food spot near by. The next day we tried the vegetable pad thai, and were honestly surprised to find it bland and simple, but still an okay dish. Overall, the Pad Kee Mao and Panang curry are an absolute A+ must!!
