We've been here before, so e had a good idea a of what to expect. Service and ambiance were good. There was actually only a short line at 11 am on a Saturday, although the place was packed. We nabbed a table for 4 and our food came out pretty much at the same time. I'm only writing this to say I found their regular loco moco disappointing. Some of the rice was dry and even crunchy. The eggs. One seemed like half an egg it was so small. The yolk was meh, not quiiiiite runny. Between that and the crunchy rice I cannot even remember the patty or gravy.We'll be back though. Plenty other things there to like.

A perfect spot for some brunch with big portions!We ordered their original waffles with whipped cream, strawberries and cream waffles, Loco Moco, a side of sausage links, and their strawberry milk. The waffles were fluffy, and the butter + whipped cream added a creamy touch. The loco moco was tasty and a huge portion, so both my partner and I shared it. The strawberry milk was delicious too & had fresh strawberries in it. Loved every bite we took! Our food also came out very quick (less than 10 mins after we ordered)! Lastly, the staff were super welcoming and kind, and the dining area was always kept clean! Will definitely come again!

First time here-would I come back? Probably not. Friendly employees but, I ordered the fried chicken & waffle- the 2 fried chicken thighs was the toughest, driest, darkest, REFRIED chicken ever! It was blatantly leftover chicken from day before, and because we were there for breakfast at 8AM, we were served refried chicken. I gave it 3 stars on account of the good waffle. I wish this new visit for us turned out better.

Pancakes and Waffles BLD is located in the Waimalu Shopping Plaza. Tons of parking. As we walked towards the establishment i noticed it wasn't to busy. 3 people. I thought that was odd. As we walked in the restaurant the ambiance was great! Colors was bright and spacious. My wife ordered for us the cashier was very friendly and helpful. This was breakfast time and I got the bacon, eggs and fried rice. Wifey got Portuguese sausage, eggs and fried rice. It looked very yummy. But sadly my food was ok. My wife thought the fried rice was ono and the sausage was good. But her eggs was eh. I wasn't thrilled about the fried rice, my scrambled eggs had no taste and my bacon didn't have taste either. Idk i wasn't happy and I love breakfast. Bottom line would I come back? Maybe not. I would rather try somewhere else first.

First time here. Nice to see that it was very busy. Cashless only. Had the biscuits, country gravy, eggs, sausage. The 2 sausage included was huge! Friend had banana waffle. Great to see that the banana was in the waffle, and not just in top. Large parking lot shared by other businesses. Order at counter, find a seat, and they bring your order to you. Recommend!!!

This is one of the brunch places that open super early in the morning. It has plenty of choices including waffles and pancakes, as well as Hawaii famous loco moco. We ordered Hawaii loco moco with fried rice, and a Mac nut chocolate waffle. There are a looooot of food. Also delicious. One thing can be improved is that they don't have decaf coffee. Service lady went out of their way to help us. Overall great experience.

Yummy pancakes today. Baby was asking for pancakes so dad decided to spoil him to Pancakes & Waffles in WAIMALU. Besides, it's been while since we came here with my older Boy. Nice day today. Not too busy but they are steady with customers during these around. Hamburger steak was choice! And the Korean chicken was delicious!

I went to the Waimalu Plaza location. It was a holiday so it wasn't too crowded. As the time became closer to the brunch hour the line became longer. There were four people in our party, celebrating a friend's birthday. Three people ordered the Loco Moco and the last ordered an ordinary breakfast, scrambled eggs with Spam. Then to "family style" they ordered the Pancake & Waffle set AND the Apple Caramel Pancakes. They were all so delicious. Every time I've had breakfast. I have not been disappointed.
