Usually I cook pinapaitan myself but wanted to try how theirs tasted and it did not disappoint. Tasted authentic. It's a good size bowl and 1 scoop rice. I honestly think it should come with more rice because I barely even ate the pinapaitan before I finished the rice. The service there... did not seem to much customer service oriented, it's pretty much you ordering take out with chairs on the side. Workers were quick to bring out our food. It's strange there... it's located inside of festival marketplace. If you've never been to festival market... it's a market with different stands selling fish, meats, produce and other things meanwhile the restaurant has a spot in the middle of it all. I've been to festival market many times but haven't really had a restaurant before pampanga went in. Strange location is all I could say but it works. Lots of parking there, I always get parking right away. Overall I would come back. I usually go to festival for produce and sometimes meat or fish so it's nice to be able to stop and eat before I head back home.

The food is great! I wanted the KAREKARE! It has the ingredients that I always look forward to eating which is the TRIPE. My husband likes the DINAKDAKAN! The service was fine, the cashier was nice.As for entering the restaurant, it seems like they just moved in the area, I'm not sure. But I always look for something interesting in the interior design in restaurants and it was my 1st time there.

Located inside Waipahu Festival Marketplace. I always have the Goto (rice porridge with beef intestine and tripe) topped with crispy garlic, green onions and calamansi. Good portion, I couldn't even finish the whole bowl. I also wanted to get the Tokwa't baboy but they didn't have it (not sure if they didn't serve it that day or sold out). You're lucky if you get an available seat at their table.

Always come here for my Laing fix. Husband and kids enjoy the food here as well. Workers don't skimp on the serving sizes and always do small talk. It's right in the corner as you enter the doors. They have filipino food and lots of filipino desserts to enjoy as well.

I came here craving some Filipino food and Thelma's only has take out. This location has dine in but we decided to take out our orders. I decided to get goto which was topped with tripe, onions and ginger. It came with a tiny calamansi to put in my goto. It's also known as arizcaldo which is a rice poridge. It's so good! I miss my mom's cooking. This was so good! Just like mom's. The inside was clean and there were plenty of tables inside. I definitely would come back to try other items. The lady at the register was nice. Plenty of parking up front.

Are you craving some Filipino food & looking for many options of food choices? This place is it! Pampanga Kitchen is located in many locations. However, this Waipahu location has lots of seating for big or small groups. They do have booths to eat and also tables and chairs. This location is centered in the parking lot of Pacific Super Market. Their lots of parking spaces and place used to be the old Jollibee. Food wise. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but if you see other people's photos, you might be lucky to see how many choices you can get with your plates. They have side orders like pork lumpia, vegetable lumpia, & banana lumpia. Also, Empanadas, cassarons, and a lot more! Oh! & don't forget the Halo Halo :P. Now back to the food. They give you a good portion to get that kick and craving satisfied. My stomach is growling at this moment as I write. I think I will stop by and get some Filipino food tonight, hahaha! Overall- I do recommend this place to try if you are looking for some good Filipino food! :)

Since my mom passed away 2 years ago, I have been craving for her home-cooked meals. I have never mastered her recipes and lately I have been to busy (lazy) to cook.So I tried looking for a place that would come close to my mom's cooking. I havent been fortunate to find a place for the past two years until today. My original plan was to go to Pacific Supermarket but after seeing this place, i decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! Their food was almost as close as my mom's cooking that it satisfied my craving!I also love how the place is always clean and spacious unlike other Filipino restaurants. This is definitely my go-to place when it comes to craving my mom's dishes!
