Palehua Trail Rides

My husband and I had such a wonderful time on the trails today with horses Mous and Pia. Our guide Alyssa made us feel at home. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the land and animals. The horses were fun and each had their own special personalities. Pia had one blue eye and one brown. She's the queen of Palehua and has a heart on her left hip - so cute! The trail was beautiful with views of the ocean. We were lucky to see some long horns. The ride lasted about an hour. There's a scenic stop where our guide captured some cute photos for us.There were five of us at 1p. I appreciated how the guides broke us up into our two separate groups, so it felt like we were on a private ride. Other horse rides I've been on here in Oahu had my group riding with a big group of strangers, which is fine. However, I liked how Palehua split us up. At the end of the ride we got to give our horses treats and some love. My horse Pia took some cute selfies with me. We had a great time! Mahalo Alyssa for being an Amazing guide. Had a great time! Our guides Caitlyn & Piper were sweet. I'd recommend booking the Sunset tour since it's much cooler in temp (and you get an awesome sunset). The location is probably the highlight, aside from the horses, of course. The trail is nestled in the Waianae mountains and the landscape is beautiful and serene. Would recommend to anyone looking to take an easy and peaceful trail.

Went on the sunset ride with Stephanie. We rode Lani and her daughter, Aloha, two push-button horses that know their jobs very well. Felt very safe and comfortable the entire ride.Stephanie got off her horse and offered to take photos of us with the sunset behind us. Very professional. Highly recommended!

Kawena and Chesney, were our trail guides mous, sky, hawaiian, aloha, punkin, pono, lani were the best well mannered and trained horses, I've been on in a long time. we were a group of seven and had so much fun, relaxing environment, absolutely wonderful ocean views, along with the backdrop of a Hawaiian sunset. the location is so peaceful.

We mostly stay Leeward side, so finding this gem of a stable less than 30 minutes away from hotel is BONUS - don't hafta drive an hour up to Northshore. Nice mountain ride w/ a superb guide, Jillian or Jill from Chicago. I had Manny, great demeanor & response to reins, but is totally on "Hawaiian Time." It's all good cos ride out to Sunset turnaround is gorgeous and relaxing. I liked the safety demo, the steps to load onto horses, and the fun of getting to feed your horse alfalfa pellets @ the conclusion of the ride. Good time...My family rode Lana and Aloha (mother and daughter). Lana is very protective of her little girl! Better mom than some humans!They give ya great directions on how to get to stables, so make sure you read the email to the bottom. Next time I will try the beach ride on Northshore, same owners, and maybe catch a Polo Match - Jill said it's fun to watch and I'm a believer.

This was the most magical day, I couldn't have asked for anything else. Everyone here was amazing and friendly, and I want to thank the amazing trail guide Kaitlyn and my horse mous. If you're thinking of going horseback riding in Hawaii this place is a MUST. thank you so much for an amazing day! I can't put into words how fantastic this was.

Such a fun trail ride with really sweet staff. They let us love on the horses and give them snacks after. So much fun!!

We had so much fun.Sonya & Jenny are the nicest ladies. The horses were great.The views were incredible!Thank you for accommodating our schedule!We are so thankful for the opportunity to go on this adventure together. Part of the adventure is going up the mountain it is very narrow & has several blind spots to get to the location. Allow yourself plenty of extra time.

I love that there is an offering like this on the west side. It is a great ride if you have never been on a horse before. It is a bit boring if you have riding experience.
