There was a good amount of variety. The food was better than the Chief's luau which we did a few years ago.
A single dancer is featured further back in the lū'au, so everyone has a good view.

I recently attended the Paina Waikīkī Luau, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely fantastic--a delightful departure from other luaus I've attended where the food was just okay. Every dish was delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that truly captured the essence of Hawaiian cuisine. What really set this luau apart, though, was the incredible performance by the male dancers. Typically, we see the hula dancers steal the spotlight, but here, the men showcased their talent and charisma in a way that left everyone in awe. The fire dance was particularly mesmerizing--definitely a highlight of the evening! I captured some videos of the fire dances, and I can't wait to share them. If you're looking for a luau that combines amazing food with stunning performances, the Paina Waikīkī Luau is the place to be! Highly recommend!

This Luau is such a pleasant experience. If you have the means, you should treat yourself to this event. It's also family & children friendly. All the staff are very friendly, just chill vibes all around. The food is great.OH- the VIP tickets get you 3 free drinks and I think the other package gets you at least 1 drink.I got the VIP package. When I go back to Hawaii I'm going to stay in the same hotel as I did during my recent trip this Luau is hosted in ( Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa ).- Speaking of hotels, the hotel I mentioned is outstanding. You get your money worth.- If you're going to come to Hawaii and can afford it, SPEND THE MONEY on an exceptional Hotel and Luau

The luau was great. It was just long. I'd have preferred the show during dinner. The dancers, in particular the youngest dancers we so talented. I enjoyed the Samoan dancing and the fire twirlers most of all.

Had an AMAZING time! Dean was our server and he was very attentive and great. The whole show was extremely entertaining and the music was great. The host who was singing had an incredible voice. I enjoyed the whole experience so much that I want to go back. The drinks were delicious and the Kalua pork was so good! Highly recommend!

Loved this Luau! It was not super crowded which was great for the attentive service. The performances were excellent and it's in a private rooftop space at the Marriott so it is not open to the public like other luaus. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mai Tai--very strong! The buffet was excellent and offered a carving station with juicy prime rib, assorted vegetables, sides and chicken. They offered complimentary tattoos and a fresh lei bracelet before the show. Highly recommend!

The entertainment was quite good, for the price, a huge price per person the overall experience had too much to be desired. Where this fell off the cliff was the lousy food. This was way too much money to serve mediocre food and drink. Kind of felt like cattle being led to a trough. Food was cold, and a heavier hand at seasoning. If the food was of better quality this would be a 4-star, but the food isn't and so...underwhelming.

Everyone was so welcoming! The service was emasculate. Nice open venue, perfect ambiance for a luau. The performers were amazing! This is the first luau I've been to where they have incorporated keikis, which was so fun to watch! Not to mention the food! I've never been to a luau that offered prime rib Great choices of food and they were all delicious! 10/10!

As residents, we don't always take the opportunities to enjoy the culture our islands have to offer. Decided take the family out for an evening of fun and entertainment, this Luau did not disappoint. Good food, great story telling, and very friendly staff. Glad we decided to go.

This Luau is not as authentic as the others that we have attended (out somewhere on the beach facing the ocean), with more traditional ceromonies/activities e.g., they cook the pig outside in an underground stove. This Luau is a modified version suited for a small place indoor which is what it is. The performances by the various dance group were all very nice and entertaining. However, the food selection though plenty did not meet our expectations - the flavor is missing in almost all of the entrees. We had very little on our plate and didn't even finish after first tasting it. The hosts and servers were all very good. Other than the food, the event was well organized for a small group in a limited indoor space.
