Perfect place for a sunny afternoon delicious fresh fish sandwich or salad. Yummy and the slaw is always crisp on the sandwich. My friend loves the home fried potatoes. The onion rings are nice and crispy. Indoor or outdoor seating. Staff is always pleasant and friendly -(esp our favorite server and cook -Lucas) Parking on site. Or on the street . Conveniently located. Our favorite lunch place in Kailua! !

Great fish, fast and friendly service. Order at the counter and take your number to a table of your choice. The food will be brought to you fast by a friendly staff member. A little pricey, but portions are huge: consider splitting! Beer, wine, cocktails available. Ambiance is quite casual and low-key.

Me and my family really love this place, but the tipping is kind of awkward, I've heard people say "if I'm standing when I order, I'm not tipping" but the food is served on nice plates, and from what I've seen nobody is bussing their own dishes; I like the casualness of the restaurant and tip more because of the lesser awkwardness of ordering and sitting around longer.The fish always tastes fresh, the tartar sauce that comes with it is delicious, they also have a house sauce that goes great with any of the fish dishes, I've been probably 5 times and always have a good experience

With parking around the back, Paia is located across from Target in Kailua. We went in and there was a bit of a line but once we ordered, we received our food quickly. The service was efficient and nice. We ordered the sautéed snapper with Cajun rice and snapper burger with fries. We ordered then sat outside, although they have seating inside and outside. The seating inside looked clean with a few tables on both sides of the restaurant but we felt like sitting at one of the tables outside. Our food came out and both plates were super tasty! While it seemed pricey at first, the portion was a good size that could serve for a meal or two. There was a good amount of spices on the snapper and we took leftovers!

I got the catch of the day Opah! I got it in the burger style which came with a side of fries. The fries were so yummy and crunchy! The fish was well seasoned and very moist. Opah is a white fish so there isn't too much flavor so next time I would order it plate style. Over all great quality food and great service. It does get crowed around dinner and it's order at the counter type of restaurant so I would grab seats as quickly as possible or go before the dinner rush.

We went here the other day to order their Blackened Cajun ahi with Cajun rice and charbroiled Mahi Mahi with Cajun rice and potatoes. Both plates came with cabbage Cole slaw. We both enjoyed our dishes because fish was seasoned well, tender and not overly cooked. That magic sauce was great too! Perfect dipping sauce for the fish and as a condiment to the potatoes and Cajun rice.

We took a Sunday drive to Kailua after church service. I and my wife ordered two fish dishes with rice and fries. They were okay but not great.

We tried this place and the fish was fresh and delicious! Fish and chips was meeting expectations and snapper Cajun style exceeded expectations! I would go back regularly for the fresh fish and clean environment. Parking nearby or street parking.

Very delicious fresh fish! I love the Kailua location - the employees are always so friendly! I usually get the fresh catch plate, which comes with your choice of fish (Ono, Ahi, Salmon, Mahi Mahi, or Snapper), how you want it prepared (charbroiled, sautéed, cajun style, or blackened), your choice of a side (potatoes, cajun rice, french fries, or rice + potatoes), and cole slaw. I usually get either the Ahi or Ono, but I have tried every fish at least once, and they are all amazing! Highly recommend stopping by for a visit!

I love Paia Fish Market. A local chain that makes some delicious and fairly priced fish dishes. I don't have a go-to favorite and the different combinations I've had aren't memorable, but in 5+ trips here, it is consistently delicious and fresh and light. I will be ordering fish tacos for lunch next time I visit Hawaii.
