I hired James, owner of Pacific Photo to service my daughter's first birthday party this past weekend on July 7, 2019. I waited years to have a kid and my expectations to document and preserve this most special occassion were high to say the least. My wife initially found Pacific at this year's Baby Expo held at Blaisdell and we had no other experience with Photo Booth companies but James was very convincing in his salesmanship. We hired for photobooth and paid extra to have a roving photographer to shoot our 4 hour party at the Pagoda. To cut it short, James and his photographer was on time, professional and very courteous to my family and guests. He was set up and already working when I arrived. Equipment and set up were running and people were already taking photos while his roving photographer was engaged in taking pics with my guests. The highlight of James' services is the exceptional quality of his booth prints (unlimited) and the clarity of the images. Lighting is perfect and made myself and family look better than I expected. My anxiety went away when my guests were equally impressed by their prints. James will also give you, time permitting the flash drive containing all the photos shot that day by the end of the party! Amazing and fast service! Give James a shot, his wife Sonia does a great job too of creating templates and banners according to the theme of your party. My expectations were high because my baby girl turns one year old only once and Pacific Photo did not disappoint. I will be hiring them again and again.

I never had any problems. The back drop and photos were beautiful along with the layout.James and Sonia helped get my family in there first, which I appreciated. Toy often miss a lot because you are hosting. Their pricing is competitive.

I hired them for my daughter's first birthday this past Saturday and am more than satisfied with their services. I originally contacted James about 4 months ago to see if they were available for our date. While also contacting other photo booth companies as well. James got back to me quickly and was the only one out of the five different companies that I contacted that sold me on their services and what he could offer. Everyone else sent me their price list and that was it or got back to me over a week later. I got to pick the setup for my daughter's invites and what I wanted the frame on her photo booth pics to look like. Sonia, James' wife, does all the artwork for the company and was quick with responding to me when I would email her what I wanted. The day of the event they setup early and since people were already waiting to take pics they started early as well. The gentlemen running the photo booth accommodated all our guest with as many prints as they wanted. And he ended up staying later then they were supposed to because my family didn't get a chance to get pics in because we were so busy hosting the party. His customer service skills were top notch. I would totally hire their company again.

James & Sonia,Thank you so much for providing the photo booth and props for our son's first birthday party. Thank you for showing up on time and setting up so quickly. Thank you for coordinating with me and my husband to make sure we took all of our family photos and even stayed a little past the 3 hours. I absolutely love the album you provided with all of the photobooth pictures for our souvenir. James you are such a pleasure to work with! Sonia, thank you for being patient with me for the photo I wanted to use for the layout and making the best Totoro layout for the photobooth pictures. The only complaint I had from my guests and had later experienced myself was that your son was not friendly or personable at all while doing his duties. He was very short and impatient. If he doesn't like what he's doing that's understandable but as a customer, that's the last thing I want to see on one of my happiest days.

Photos are for memories, and memories are forever. Had 3 shots in one photo. The second shot was not even directed and just told us "OH YOU MISS THE SECOND SHOT". It couldve been better if she offered to get another set of photos instead. But nope, she called it off and took another set of people. There's nobody else waiting in line btw.

Had an A+ experience. Called PPC for engagement photos the day of after our other plans fell through. James immediately agreed and we were taking photos within 2 hours. He took us to 5 or 6 scenic backdrops and did a great job. If you need photos, call them.

Sadly, I did not add this business to sing my praises. Prepare for a long review. From beginning to end, the process was a headache. Once we actually met James at his residence to book our photo booth, he was, well, scatterbrained and not present in the moment while talking to us. It was weird. I understand you are slammed with business and that's great, but when meeting with clients, be present in the moment and acknowledge them. We decided what we wanted, a three hour party package, a 495 dollar value, went down to about 470 because we did not get invitations from him because he was on vacation and would not get back in time to make them. That's fine, whatever, no big deal. But when it came to everything else I paid for I wanted it. I sent him the layouts few days later. About three weeks go by, I tell my bf to get a hold of him because I need to know if he was going to make my favors? When my bf got a hold of him, he said that he couldn't make them because they need to know three weeks in advance?!? Three weeks in advance?!?! I paid you three weeks ago?!? Nothing was said at that time! So I call, and I was pissed. But he told me to send him the layout and he will let his wife know, I guess she makes everything.The next morning, my phone starts going off at like 6am, I ignore it because just like every other human being, I am asleep that early in the morning. He leaves me a message saying that they can't make it because it was in my contract, and that if I wanted to get it done, I would have to pay the 25 dollars he took off for the invitations!!!! Wtf?!?! I look at my contract and sure enough, he's right, it's right there...no invitations/favors. Let me state that while we should have looked over everything before we signed, nothing was mentioned about us not getting favors. The whole reason I booked him was for a party package that came with the works. If I wanted just a photo booth, I could have found just a photo booth for probably about the same price. We knew we were not getting the invitations but I didnt know no invitations meant no favors too. So of course, like a bat out of hell I call him. At this time I'm furious. I tell him that I did read my contract and nothing was said to me about not getting favors and that I knew the invitations were a no go but I wanted the favors. He told me that he could make the favors but he would charge me for them, I told him absolutely not! I did not book him to just get my photobooth, I wanted the package deal, everything but the invitations. Then he started to blame my bf, saying that he told him and he agreed to no favors....I WAS RIGHT THERE WHEN YOU WERE TALKING TO HIM! Don't pass blame to others. I told him clearly there was a misunderstanding somewhere and that had I known this was going to happen I would have gone somewhere else. He apologized, once again, said anything to get me off the phone. I told him I was going to get my favors off of etsy, and that I wanted to support local companies and how mad I was that I had to go somewhere else to get it done. After all was said and done, he apologized and offered to make them for me, free of charge, I told him no because it was already a week to the party, and I couldn't wait anymore. So I ended up just getting them from etsy. He called me later to offer to make thank you cards, to make up for the favors, I agreed and thanked him. They didn't have to do that, that was a nice and thoughtful gesture though. Day of the party: Like all those before me who know how stressful party planning is, I had a lot to do. Sonia(James wife) and their son got there about 10-1030. Keep in mind, I booked them for three hours 12-3. So she asked me if she could set up, I told her that was fine. I'm running around getting stuff put where they need to be. She came over and told me that they wanted to take pictures of my family first, that's fine but we were busy. My kids came up to me saying she told me they couldn't take pictures. I told her to start already because I was busy. I was a gracious party host, I offered them food and shave ice that we had there. Then @ 2:30 they told me that they were leaving early because they started early. I DID NOT ASK YOU TO START EARLY, you did that on your own. I didn't make a scene I said fine, paid my balance, and they left. I would not recommend booking them, after the headache I had after this process, it's not worth it. Their photo layouts are awesome! And they looked great. But that's it. To the business: you are in the customer service industry. If you are too busy to accommodate your customers, hire more people or watch how much clients you book so you don't over book yourself. James, you should have personally been at our party especially with everything that happened, you looked like a chicken for not showing up. If I book you from 12-3, you stay from 12-3, I should not have to pay for you being overbooked. I can't refer you to others after our experience.

I knew I wanted to have a photo booth to add on to my daughter's 1st birthday celebration from the beginning. So I researched online and tried to remember what other parties I attended have, however, none of these passed my high expectations. A week out, I still could not find a good one, then I ran into Pacific Photo Company working at the same place I went to finalize my party menu. I was very impressed with their set-up, the professional look of the photo booth print out, and the friendly associate. It's like heaven sent, they agreed to meet and worked with me 7 days before the party. I am very glad I get to meet James and Sonia, very helpful and professional business owners. I loved their photo Booth service, their timeliness, great customer service, and professional product prints and unlimited printing. All in all, even last minute, with reasonable price. I highly recommend Pacific Photo Company. They help make my daughter's 1st birthday awesome and a great party to remember! Thank you very much!
