My love for Aloha Shirts is extra special in finding the source of the original Magnum p.i. wear. Just by chance I googled to find the labeling as "Paradise Found." There's a bit of trivial history. Tom Selleck wore various patterned shirts and now Jay Hernandez has them in the Magnum reboot series. I them was able to order on Amazon Prime! With my excitement, I ordered 3 shirts. Oops. According to the Pacific Clothing website, the sizing of the shirts run large. Canceled and recorded a size smaller. My ordered arrived in a couple of days via Amazon Prime. The original shirts were made in silk. Now they rayon, which is actually easier to launder. The fabric very smooth and the patten details are dyed beautifully. Mahalo, Paradise!

One of the Aloha Shirts of the same print was also featured in a recent episode of Cougar Town. + All shirts here are made in Hawaii, not China or other countries. So they are true, authentic Aloha Shirts. + Pacific Clothing Company is a manufacturer and wholesaler of vintage and modern Aloha Shirts. They don't have retail stores themselves. But there is a showroom in their office with lots of Aloha Shirts on display. + I recently visited their office with the intention of finding one or two Aloha shirts, but walked away with 4 shirts. Lots of unique designs and high quality shirts that I don't usually find in other stores, at very reasonable prices. + They carry 3 different brands with both vintage and new modern designs. So a good selection of different styles and designs for all occasions and personal preferences.

While in Maui, I purchased a 'Tom Selleck" shirt for my husband. It was our 30th anniversary and wanted him to have a keepsake from our trip. When I got home, I washed it carefully, hung it to dry and it shrunk. I was so disappointed that I decided to contact the manufacturer and left an message about this issue. Very quickly I received a reply from Tim. He gave me a suggestion how to rectify the problem and when it didn't work, he asked for a picture to identify the pattern to send a new one. I was a bit sceptical as we live in Canada and this was coming from Hawaii. Then I got a message from Tim that the specific pattern was out of stock and would I be willing to wait a month for it to come in, before the shirt could be made, which I had no problem doing. I was very surprised to get the update and was happy that Tim was keeping in touch about the shirt. When I got a message that the fabric had arrived and the shirt was being made I was very hopeful. The next message was the shirt was being sent and yes, it arrived!!!!! The only cost to me was the customs charge.So happy to have had such great service. I will definitely have nothing but positive things to say about this company and the customer service.
