Most the old reviews are for a different park. Pacheco Neighborhood Park is located at the intersection of Kamehameha Hwy and Waimano Home Road. It shares an entrance with Pearl Harbor Elementary School. The park has two ball fields, a basketball court, tennis/pickleball court, and restrooms. The restrooms are open 24/7 which unfortunately has people in it for no reason at all. It just does not make it safe to use the bathroom when there are others just there. If it weren't for the bathrooms, then this place would be pretty decent. But the bathrooms bring this place down. The courts themselves are in ok. And the ball fields, while not spectacular, are decent. There are bleachers, but the ones under the trees are graffitied up. I know it sounds like I should bring the ratings down some more, but the park is usable. Parking is above the park, so be prepared to walk the stairs or take the ramp down. And for irony, the police station is right up mauka from the park, but you won't find any cops hanging around here.

This park has many uses! Parties, crafts and festivals, this is a park that is usually busy with activities, which is great news for the community. Tons of parking, open area, perfect for parties!

Played volleyball at Palisades last night. Good park tucked away in the mountains of Pearl City. It's located and literally surrounded by residential homes. We played there from 7:00 p.m. to about 9:00 p.m., although the timer on the lights are off. Hardly anyone plays at the volleyball court during the evening, but that's probably because it's so remote. There are also the basketball courts and baseball field. From time-to-time, the parking lot becomes a hangout for "questionable activities", if you know what I mean. Overall, have fun but be careful if you're there in the evening.

I chose to go to this park since it is close to my 4 year old daughter's school. Since I had never been to this park before I checked yelp to see if there was a play structure at this location and what other yelpers had to say about it. Unfortunately the last review was way back in 2011 so the 5 star rating has definitely depreciated with age. I do like that this park is way up in the mountains away from all the hustle and bustle of Pearl City below, but the play structure was in bad shape and the winding slide (my daughter's favorite part) was missing and sectioned off due to damage. We made an adventure out of it and explored the park and field area around us, but there were a couple of broken beer bottles so I couldn't let my daughter run free since I was afraid she'd get hurt. It was very quiet and peaceful...if the city and county cleaned it up and repaired the play structure it could be our new favorite spot :)

Great little park high up the mountains in Pearl City. Has a basketball court, playground, softball field and rec center. I was here to open the rec center for the senior aerobics class which is free! And these seniors sweat to the oldies with Richard Simmons!
