Decided to stay here for my third time in Oahu through Costco Travel and I'd 100% recommend this hotel for everyone wanting to be in a really central location within Waikiki. I've previously stayed at the Ilikai and Hilton Hawaiian Village and I'd put the Beachcomber at the top of both just solely for the location. Not sure how this is a 3-star hotel because you get so many great amenities within the hotel itself! As for the hotel's location, there are TONS of quick eats and restaurants around the area if you're tired and need something to eat/drink nearby. For one, there's an ABC store right around lululemon so you can get all your toiletries and everything you need there. They also have a new Target in the International Marketplace across. You can also cross the street to Royal Hawaiian Center for some yummy acai bowls and shaved ice at Island Vintage. Tons of luxury shops around Kalakaua Ave and easy access to the beach if you go through the street where Banan Beach Shack is.With the hotel's breakfast voucher, you get one free breakfast item from the selected items and one free 16 oz coffee/drink per person which is an amazing value. Although their menu items are already pretty reasonably priced compared to other cafes, their medium iced lattes are $5.25 so if you're a coffee drinker, this can save you a lot of money just on your morning drinks. They have a few limited breakfast item for voucher users, but we got the ham and cheese croissant and breakfast bagel and both were very filling. They were plated very nicely with a side of salad. The hotel lobby has a free water purifier machine, so you can fill up your water bottles as much as you'd like during your stay here. Not sure if this is a new feature, but we enjoyed not having to buy packs of water at the ABC store this time around.Valet parking as of 12/19/24 is now at $55 per day (vs. $50 per day when we booked in July 2024), which really isn't too bad. However, note that the lot can fill up around dinnertime and if this is the case, the valet attendant will likely direct you to a self-parking overflow lot a block or two away from the hotel. We opted for the Waikiki View w/King Bed and our room was in great condition when we first checked in. Lots of great natural lighting and it wasn't too loud throughout the day and night. They offer early check in at $50, which was godsend because this really allowed us to jumpstart our first day.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and liked how friendly the staff and housekeeping ladies were!

The Waikiki Beachcomber has been my go-to spot whenever I visit Waikiki. Having stayed here three times now, I can confidently say that I've always truly enjoyed my time at this wonderful hotel. The service is consistently superb, and during my latest visit, I was especially impressed. On this most recent trip, I lost one of my favorite Hello Kitty jackets--a limited-edition item that I was absolutely heartbroken over. Late in the evening, I approached the front desk to inquire about the lost and found. The staff immediately sprang into action. One of the front desk employees even personally accompanied the housekeeping team to search through the lost and found.Although they located the jacket that evening, it was securely stored away, and the housekeeping manager had already left for the day. The staff reassured me that I'd be able to retrieve it in the morning--and sure enough, I did! It turned out that a housekeeping employee, Ryan, had found it in the hotel lobby and promptly turned it in. I was so touched by the kindness and diligence of everyone involved, especially Ryan. Special thanks also go to Florentina and Cyrus, who went above and beyond to assist me.The Waikiki Beachcomber has always been my favorite place to stay in Waikiki, and this experience has only reinforced my confidence in choosing them. Their exceptional service and attentiveness are truly unmatched. Thank you, Beachcomber, for making my stay so memorable--and for helping me recover my beloved jacket!

I am so shocked that this hotel doesn't have 5 stars from everyone. It shows like a higher end hotel with a beautiful lobby area that opens up to a pool, Maui Brewing company, and an Aroma Cafe that is perfect for breakfast, coffee, and pool food. Our room was really nice and had fun decor. You're right in the middle of everything in Oahu - right near the International Market and a block from the beach. On top of all that we got a killer rate because we booked through Costco Travel, which included breakfast vouchers at the Aroma Cafe. We could basically walk everywhere and the staff at the front desk was so helpful with everything. They even have a weekly movie night at the pool!I would definitely recommend coming back to this hotel.

Booked the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel through Costco Travel after the great reviews. After I completed booking, I did go back into several Yelp reviews and became hesitant as I saw some reoccurring negative reviews about the noise. Arrived an hour before check-in time and the girl at the front desk (didn't catch her name) was so friendly and accommodating to find us an available room so we didn't need to wait. We were placed on the 2nd floor, which made me more nervous about the noise, but heard nothing our entire stay. The only downfall regarding noise during this time is from the construction happening close by - though it was only during the day. We were out most of the time so it was not impactful. Spacious enough rooms - Our king size room had a mini 2-seater couch, small circular glass table, an accent chair, and a bench at the end of the bed for seating. Only downfall was certain parts of the room were a bit dusty. There was also a power outage during one of the nights and the generator didn't kick in appropriately. There was lighting in the hallways to the rooms but the room itself had a complete outage - no lights or AC working so we did leave the room for almost 2 hours before returning. Thankfully the power was back on! $50 per night for parking which is pretty standard for hotels in the general area. Valet only - valet staff were very friendly and drop off/pick up was a breeze. Personally was very happy with the Costco package as it came with a Costco gift card + vouchers to the Hawaiian Aroma Cafe located right downstairs from the hotel that allows for a limited breakfast menu item + beverage.GREAT location!! The hotel is right across the street from the Royal Hawaiian Center and closely to the International Marketplace with many eateries and shops located in the surrounding area... not to mention the beach is just a short block away!

This hotel was very trendy in my opinion! Great location, 5 minute walk across the beach which was perfect for when we wanted to catch the sunrise! Attached to a brewery and next to a ton of shops. Great cafe and bar inside the hotel as well. The bar had a decent happy hour everyday and a nice pool area with towels conveniently located. Front desk staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Valet guys were helpful and patient with our large group. This place is special!

Where do I begin lol. Thinnest absolute weakest toilet paper in the room. That should be enough info to not stay here. Not one water bottle provided. Thin walls, slighter thicker than the TP. Will never come back for this price. Motel 6 shits on this. Bed was slumpy and gym was slightly bigger than a gas station bathroom lol

The location is unbeatable--right in the heart of Waikiki, steps from the beach, shopping, and dining. For the quality and experience, it's a great value. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had a nice 5 night stay here. The room was clean, and came with a balcony overlooking the International Marketplace with an ocean view. When you open the sliding door, there is no question you have a city below, complete with sirens, cars, and a constant buzz of fans(?) and noise. If you want to feel like you're in a remote island, Waikiki is not the place for you! There were nights when I wished we were on an ocean front in Kauai where all you hear is the waves below. All that aside, this hotel is in a convenient location for your shopping, fine dining, drinking, beach going, Uber pickup, and car rental needs. We had a nice stay.
